Here we are guys in the third week of the journal, last week I had some concern about the ph which was spiking at 7+ overnight but the problem solved it self when the roots started to shoot in to the water. my other concern was the temp inside the grow box which i solved buying a second hand portable ac (40€! such a bargain) now as you can see the girl is thriving and the roots too!! as you can see in the picture i put a white bed sheet around the black container so the water won't get hot, it works AMAZINGLY now the water goes in the hotter day at max 21.2 and than goes back to 20. Day 20 hey guys a small update, yesterday i topped the girl, i have only one concern, the plant is so damn bushy and the lower side shoots are almost covering the shoots on the the side of the topping. looking close i thought that maybe I had to top one set of leaves lower because under the fan leaves she is really really bushing everything is exploding but the plant still quite short, 7cm (2.7 inches) is that ok? apart from this i can't complain, the dwc system is working amazingly and the pland is healthy. please feel free to give suggestion comments or critics love you all I think the plant looks a bit bit pale so as I am writing this i added a 0.5 ml of flora micro to the res to add nitrogen, we will see how she reacts in the next days. Probably transplanted too early as they quickly started to show signs of overwatering such as droopy, dark leaves not long after transplant which I believe may be due to me watering to run off whilst there is no developed root mass to use the nutrient solution.

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. The growth is amazing this week i killed some aphids and fed her some fish fertilizer and bat guano…flowers should be coming in this week. This would be a smokable plant for sure not seeds producing.

Hello, We are at 12/12 +40, the plants are developing well, not all of them will explode right away, but I am patient. So we have the big plant in the middle and 4 cuttings, alas there are only 3 cuttings from the biggest the other is from a Purple Bud. They all received a dose of Terra florès, Cannazym and CannaBoost.

Been giving her plain water for the last two weeks. Started chopping on her Sunday. I’ve taken the the biggest colas first hoping some of the lower smaller buds may fatten a bit. I’ve been trimming for 3 days. She’s super resinous! Wet trimmed the first half of her and will be dry trimming the rest. I’ve left a few buds on the plant. Experimenting a bit going to see if I can get the remaining buds to hermie and get some seeds. I know the seeds could carry the hermie gene if it works. I was thinking of using them for some gorilla grows the summer.

My permanent marker plants are looking really interesting! The short and stocky one with the purple leaves is super vibrant. I love that pop of color against the green of the other plants. It's a little different from the taller plant, which has this really cool stacked-up look to it. I'm curious to see if those stacked-up leaves will change color too. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.
