The Afghan #1 has received her final defoliant. At the end of week six she is 78 cm tall. Has put on significant weight with the calyxes fully swollen now emerging into bud formation. Leaves fading yellowing. Stem growth slow paced. She will be fed water and molasses until harvest.

44oz of plant food mix is given to 5 plants (3- Colombian Gold, 2- Grandaddy Purple). All 3 of the Alcapulco Gold plants are still receiving pH balanced water- no nutrients. They’re measuring 10” tall. Colombian Gold and Grandaddy Purple measurements range from: 12.5”-18.5”

8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. WENT OVER AND FOUND THE EVENT HORIZON I GAVE A LUTTLE LESS WATER TO, IN THE BACK COMPLETELY DEOOPED OVER AND DRY. I QUICKLY WATERED A GALLON. Hopfully I can do an app of bt tonight. Weather man needs to get things right. It says we got .005in last night but I heard it and it was way more than that. This is a tiny town. WENT BACK OVER AND FED. EVERYTHING GOT 1.75 PINTS. THE 10 GOT HALF THAT. THE FIVE A LITTLE LESS. I DEFINATELY NEED TO SPRAY FOR PILLARS. Getting ready for flowering! On day 45 I placed a metal grid (90x90cm) on the bottom of the pot and a same one on the top as a scrog grid. Then I did a huge defoliation removing as much as I could under the net, exposing many small colas that were covered by upper leaves. On day 46 I didn’t switch off the lights in the night, so the princess has been awake for more than a day. I switched off the lights in the morning. After about 30 hours of darkness, on day 47 I switched lights back on and set up the timer for the switch to 12/12. In this first week I’m waiting for the plant to empty the reservoir, then 2 days of flush, and will start kicking bloom nutes (with fungi, bacteria and sugars) at half dosage next week.

The seeds of Red Pure CBD showed impressive vigor right from the start. After just 32 hours of being planted, they had successfully germinated, with small, healthy roots emerging from each seed. Following germination, the seedlings were given their first exposure to light at the 44-hour mark. At this stage, they appeared strong and well-prepared for the vegetative phase. The rapid germination and early light exposure have set a promising foundation for the growth journey ahead.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The ladies had another great week, I got the Durban Nights, Red Hot Cookies, and Sundae Driverr's second toppings completed on day 26, and I got the second toppings done on the Green Crack and Bubble Runtz on day 27. Right now I have 4 mains on each plant, and I will top each one this week, probably in the next 3-4 days which will leave with me 8 mains. So the mainlines will be completed during week 5, and I plan to flip to flower around week 7. I will just continue with LST to try and keep all the tops level heading into flowering as to prevent any top from becoming dominant. I am still seeing a couple holes on the leaves of the Sundae Driver, but I have treated her twice with neem oil and I don't see any new holes since the last application and I can't see any bugs even with magnification. I am still not sure if it was a bug issue or just a genetic thing. Either way I am not too concerned at this point because they all seem to be very healthy. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. They all doin pretty good, leaves are a little too yellow for my liking at this point I should have added some grow to the mix but they will be fine I think. This one has a much different structure than the others, both I'm growing are similar, short and stocky with very stiff branching very compact. In the picture its the one in the second row in front of the tallest plant. This was a great grow, learning new plants and genetics, Spliff seed is very solid and you can expect the same consistency each seed. I want to grow them all and see if they all fall into place with their signature work!

These girls are 5 days old under 16 w cfl. The one wrapped is only 2 days old in soil. The medium is a mix of mostly coco and some sohum soil. (Seeds are photoperiod) The T5 17w lights have definitely changed their behavior, they’re not shooting upwards in length no more. What do you guys think?

It’s really difficult trying to figure out the watering at this point. Besides that and the lighting everything else seems to be easier to control due to the technology. The human nature aspect and learning about my medicine and how the plants start to develop more growth and require different needs and attention in each stage is fascinating. It’s my first time and trying to mash up all the information I read online. Well anyways to everyone reading and doing their thing, thanks for all the support and here’s my part 2… Currently feeding distilled water every time I feel my fingers in the dirt are dry about 4” down. I’m scared to water till run off at this point as the roots are still young. I Fed 1/2 cup great white on 12/8 12/11 morning, showed first sign of vegetational stage(7sets of true leaves). 12/11 pm fed nutes(called advance and the guy was great very informative and helpful. Said for autoflowers to give half the dosage that is printed because those measurements are for photo’s) 2mil sense grow ph perfect a 2mil sense grow ph perfect b 4mil voodoo juice 4mil b-52 Mix all these into 1 gallon distilled in order from top to bottom. Then I fed 1/2 cup of that mix to each plant. Used cheap Amazon test kit 270ppm/ water temp 67 / water ph 5.75 12/12 am low stress training I forgot to mention that I increased the dimming from 4-6 on my light which gives the plants 420par ;) and I think 17000lux gotta learn how to use yet another cheap Amazon tool. Hey it works to give a general idea and as long as the numbers are consistent then why not use it as a reference.

Starting week 2 of flower on this lovely Forbidden Runtz Auto from FastBuds! Still going strong! Stretching out more and more daily and slowly starting to stack flower sites. She has some yellowing and yucky looking lower leaves but that seems common with my soil setup and nothing to worry about yet. Usually just a minor watering issue as each plant requires different amounts daily and it can be hard to get them exact. More updates soon! Day 54 she is looking and feeling a little over watered so we will dial her watering back over the next few days. She also has some minor insect damage but we have lots of spiders and other predators in the tent that should keep them at bay. We will defoliate any damaged leaves and will not spray anything on them. She needs cleaned up good anyways! We will also remove some lower bud sites in the process. Day 55 we removed some damaged leaves and some that where blocking lower bud sites. Didn't remove any lower unwanted bud sites yet but they will be next!

and here we go. another week has passed and she is still doing very well. the stem is nice and thick and the buds are also getting thicker. there is not really much to report. we are at about 12 hours of daylight.
