~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2204 girls and they're on a roll!When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! Advertised 56 day flowering. Mad yellowing I think is root bound stress, over watering/under watering, magnesium deficiency... I have no idea. I top dressed with myco, azos, and a bunch of soil to give her some extra food for the last 3 weeks. I'm hoping it'll solve any issues. I'm going to put the airpot into a 7 gal cloth pot to try and relieve some root bound issues. I never intended for her to be this big in a 2 gallon... She was an auto after all that never flipped.

Diese Woche haben sich die Pflanzen von der Entlaubung der letzten Woche erholen dürfen, nach drei Tagen (die ersten drei Bilder) haben sie schon wieder einiges an Blattwerk zulegen können. Des Weiteren ist die Woche nicht viel passiert, ausser dass ich die Bodenfläche zurückgewonnen habe und endlich einen Umluftventilator zum clippen kaufen konnte. Ach und zum Ende der zweiten Blütewoche habe ich einen Komposttee gemacht, den sie am Samstag Abend bekommen haben. Ich hätte schon früher gerne den Tee gemacht, aber ich musste auch hier erstmal alle Sachen kaufen, da ich leider wieder komplett von Null beginnen musste.

Week 1 - Plant was topped just prior to flower flip. Plant was heavily lollipopped/defoliated. ( I think #1 was done perfectly ) 1-2 Days following plant was LST / Bent into a SCROG 1 day after LST / Bending I went back and fixed all issues w/ canopy uniformity Left it perfectly flat to chime in a wonderful stretch phase. High front part was properly lowered and bent/tied down. You can see difference before and after fixing trainning/scrog in photo/videos.. I tuned the canopy to 850 PPFD due to it seeming like its the most this strain is willing to take w/o taking light damage or looking unhealthy in anyway. I dont do distance from lamp because its not accurate I use PPFD quantum meter to dial my plants in and optimize them. Grow is in Coco Coir Plants getting 3 gal per pot. Plenty of water runs through after first 2 gallons are added keep everything steady.

This is the fourth week of growing. These flowers are amazing. I've germinated them the same way, the same time with the same conditions, they got the same amount of soil, light, nutrients, but the difference between them is huge. The tallest plant is 100 cm, the middle is aprox. 50 cm, and the smallest is 15 centimetres. I have never seen any seeds with the same genetics and such a huge difference between each plant. The plants got blooming nutrients for the second time, except the smallest one, she still gets veg nutes. Unfortunately I've got fruit flies again, so I am protecting the plants with some glue traps. I had to buy some Secret Jardin Monkey Clip fans, because the old fan did not fit into the wardrobe. The wardrobe is actually a pretty good growbox, the only disadvantage is that it can't fit more than 3 plants.

Whats up GD !!! ------------- GROWTH------------- Topped both plants, the bigger one, it is 3 days younger than the other, and seems to have faster development, more vigorous.. I think the reasons could be the pheno or the level of root development, i ll explain it : C#1 was in a yogurth as seen on photos and having all the sun. C#2 was in a wider recipient, lower in height, and in a room with poor light. I watered both plants at the same time, C#2 got curvy leaves when watered, i think maybe she likes near dry soil, or cant handle that level of humidity in the roots ... in my opinion she has less developed roots and the pot hadnt enought holes to let the air come in, the oposite of C#1, that seems to handle better humidity and is eating all she can, getting fluorescent green below sunlight. Both plants have same feeding and soil composition. ------------- IRRIGATION------------- Watered both ladies, around 0.2-0.3l each one with Deeper Underground. ------------- NUTRIENTS------------- Tall cheese C#1 : Deeper underground 1ml/l Short cheese C#2 : Deeper underground 1ml/l + Micro Vita (it only had Canna Pro soil ) --------------------------------------- Good vibes !! _12/04/2018_

wow wow !!!! 404 gr ! from the suitcase!!!!!!!258 gr of wet dried buds!!!!!!! I am impressed with the result, and I don't really believe that I will ever be able to improve it :) It was a truly amazing journey with FastBuds Gorilla cookies auto, my house is filled with a wonderful sweet smell, the buds look really full and very very shiny :) I also collected a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash:) the girl coped with high temperatures and high humidity throughout her growth, which is why I was afraid of rot, but everything went well!!!! She is amazing. smoke review and dry weight will be up very soon, good luck to everyone :)!!!

Het is week 10 Ik dacht dat ik haar te veel drinken had gegeven omdat de bladeren slap hingen en ze aan het vergelen waren, maar dit komt dus door de fungus gnat. Ik kwam steeds meer van die vervelende vliegjes tegen in de tent. Ik heb een laag zand over de bodem gestort zodat die fucking vliegjes er niet meer doorheen kunnen om eitjes te leggen. Dit had ik al weken eerder moeten doen. Dit is de tweede keer dat ik dit heb meegemaakt en beide keren was dit met de lightmix van biobizz, dus deze potgrond ga ik nooit meer gebruiken. Ik heb de vergeelde bladeren weggeknipt. Ik zal gedurende de week nog verse foto's updaten, hopelijk zal ze haar bloemen flink oppompen. 💪🏽

Wahnsinn, die Papayton ist jetzt schon bei 110 cm angekommen. Die schießt echt ordentlich in die Höhe! Wir sind jetzt mitten in Woche 4 und die letzte Zeit war echt nervenaufreibend. Ich musste die Mädels ordentlich durchspülen, weil der EC-Wert im Topf auf 4+ hochgeballert war. Das war ein ordentlicher Salz-Endgegner, aber ich hab ihn jetzt auf 2,6 runtergekriegt. Heute gab’s dann endlich wieder frisches Futter mit dem neuen Plagron-Zeug und ordentlich CalMag. Ich fahre jetzt auch die Lichtleistung mit 345W auf 13 Stunden. Dazu hab ich Deep Red und Infrarot aktiviert. Das IR läuft 15 Minuten länger als das Hauptlicht, damit die Mädels bei der kurzen Nacht direkt in den Schlafmodus finden und regenerieren können. Im Zelt ist es jetzt ein richtiger Dschungel, alles ist extrem dicht gewuchert. Morgen oder übermorgen wird deshalb radikal rasiert. Alles was unten im Schatten liegt oder sich gegenseitig das Licht wegnimmt, kommt ab, damit die Energie endlich in die dicken Buds fließt. Die Harzproduktion sieht bei der Forbidden Nectar jetzt schon richtig vielversprechend aus.

Everything is as beautiful as ever :-) the rear ones are already in full flower production, the front ones are just beginning. None shows deficiencies or an excess of nutrients :-) everything looks perfect, and every one of them reacted super topping :-)

12/21 - Transplanting into a 7 gallon pot (coco/per) - increasing feeds starting tomorrow - swapped lights running the Marshydro 150W full spec - Did some light defoliation 😎😎😎😎😎

All is great with my ladies this week the buds are fattening up nicely I got alot of bud sites and they are all developing beautifully the 2 plants that were approximately a week behind are also now fully flowering thankfully The extractors are working hard keeping the humidity low temps are around 28.5 lights on and humidity is 42 they are drinking more and they are getting the full recommended monkey nutrients and the Zues pro 600 is on 100% finally. Let's hope the ladies keep improving Stay blessed 💚

3 week from sprouting and looking good.

Day 32 - Heater was blowing directly on a couple of the leaves that turned brown. Cut them off. Raised lights up again. I think my development is a little slower than others but I have had a lot of trial and error. Day 33 - added tomato rack for LST. growing nicely. Day 34 - Stopped nutes as I was getting a little leaf burn in lower leaves. Looks good otherwise. Lights are dialed in. Day 35.- This is what too much light looks like. Day 37 - Switched to the grow light. Moved the heater. Growing nicely. Day 38 - Lights dialed in REDUCED water. Stopped watering for 2 days. Day 39 - Full Lights on now. Put more holes in the pot. Draining nicely now.

Another uneventful week. Buds are stacking up and there's lots of it. I was not sure when I trained her in this shape if it would work but turns out tall long and thin canopies work also. Feeds are down to 1.4-1.5ec on bloom. Another 14 days I think... Thanks for looking. Grow well 🌿💚🌿🙏🏼

Two of the LSD25’s are starting to show their colors, one is quite small but her flowers are densely packed. We will see if she starts to develop the purps soon! They have grown quite a bit since, I had to tie down the top cola on one of the girls because she was getting so tall and lanky. I have minimal room to grow in so I have to manage the height properly since LSD25 can be anywhere from 15-35in tall from what I’ve seen. I still haven’t fed them anything other than, volcanic spring water with Fish Sh!t and Bud Candy. I’m balancing the water out with TnB naturals since the volcanic spring water tends to be either base or slightly alkaline. The reason I use volcanic spring water here and there is to add, calcium, magnesium, potassium, silica and tons of other dissolved fulvic trace minerals from volcanic springs. I usually switch between Fiji and Waiakea spring water. It sounds a bit fancy but I alternate between this and distilled/reverse osmosis. I only use RO/D when mixing with nutrients or when I’m trying to flush nutrients from my mediums. I use volcanic spring water and local spring water from an artesian well when trying to feed a balanced water with minimal inputs.
