Day 78. that’s all she wrote folks. Mainely really hit t out of the park with this plant. I’m always so impressed with his genetics. She was dongly. Beautiful dense nugs and beautiful colors. Really happy to watch her dry out and see how she smokes. ♄♄

GENERAL COMMENT. This week ran nicely for the two girls, of course one is going slower than the other. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTO The spotting got this girl hard, lock lock lock and stunt. She is packing the buds slowly, very slowly, patience is a key element with her now. But the good thing is that she is moving forward. I don’t expect top shelf or a huge harvest for her unfortunately. I couldn’t ID the early spotting reason, and the late spotting i attributed to salt buildup and acidic medium, but the correction was a real pain.

Going to post a few grow questions about DLI. I’m confused about calculating with inter canopy lighting. Cultivator series blended. Dropped tasty terps to conserve for flowering.

Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by, HMU with any questions or tips you have.

Very nice grow and harvest. FastBuds certainly lived up to its name as she finished in 55 days. Unbelievably dense and fat colas that had packed on the weight due to the Nectar for the Gods nutrients. 0

Day 70 of flowering It has only been three days since my last update.. But hence the confusion of days past, I'll update it now again since this is day 70 and that markes week 10. The girls are looking very nice, if I may say so myself. The smell has intensified very much during the last days, yesterday when I opened the tent it really hit me hard in Tha nostrils in a good way. That smell that I couldn't set in words are still present but it smells lovely! I'm not at all sure how fast the trichomes are developing, so I'm checking up on them every day. This leads to alot of uncertainty of when I should start to flush. Some leaves have been yellowing for a while, at a slow pace and I fear that I might start the flush to early or late. But I'm thinking around day 71-75 will be the last day with nutritions. I have uploaded a picture of the trichomes, please let me know what you think?

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

The number of points on a cannabis leaf is primarily influenced by genetics, the plant's maturity, and environmental factors. Grape Guava is an Indica Hybrid. Hmmmm Genetics: The plant's genetics are the most important factor in determining the potential number of leaflets. Sativa-dominant strains are more likely to develop leaves with a high number of leaflets, sometimes producing 13 or more. In contrast, indica strains typically have fewer, broader leaflets, usually between 5 and 9. Maturity: A cannabis plant's leaves gain more leaflets as it matures. Seedling stage: The first true leaves after the initial cotyledons emerge with a single leaflet, followed by sets with 3, then 5. Vegetative growth: Healthy, mature plants will consistently produce leaves with 7 to 9 leaflets, though 11 or 13 is possible. Fast growth: A mature plant growing quickly in ideal conditions with plenty of light and proper nutrients is more likely to show a higher number of leaflets. Environmental conditions: Optimal growing conditions can push a plant to express its genetic potential for more leaflets. High light: A fast-growing plant with ample light is more likely to develop leaves with 9, 11, or 13 leaflets. Stress: Environmental stresses, such as unusual lighting schedules, can sometimes cause mature plants to produce leaves with fewer leaflets than normal. Blue light causes stomata, the pores on plant leaves, to open by activating a signaling pathway within the guard cells. This process involves phototropin photoreceptors, which initiate plasma membrane H+-ATPase activation, pumping protons out of the cells. This creates an electrical potential that drives potassium (K+) uptake, causing guard cells to swell and the stomatal pore to open, allowing gas exchange. Foliars applied in strong blue 430nm with 4000hz tone. 20min dose prior to application. In essence, you're seeing a combination of the infrared light reflected by the plant, which the camera perceives as red, and any residual visible blue light the plant reflects, which results in a purple hue. đŸ‡ș🇾 Week 8 of Growth – Mother Gorilla – Royal Queen Seeds đŸ‡ș🇾 This week, I’m happy! The roots have recovered well. They continue to eliminate dead roots, and you can see in the photos that new root growth is emerging. This is a great sign—it means the plant is regaining strength. The roots have resumed their growth, which is the big highlight of the week. The plant has also continued to develop foliage. It’s now dense and well-filled out. Today, I did a major defoliation to maximize light penetration and maintain good airflow. Now, I’ll let the plant recover because I think I’ll be switching to flowering soon, maybe next week or the one after. I really want to optimize light penetration to encourage new shoots, which will later become flowering sites. Environmental Conditions & Nutrients: We’re still at 18 hours of light, with temperatures between 25–27°C and humidity around 70%. pH and EC: I’ve had some issues with pH rising. It tends to climb to 6.5–6.6, so I have to lower it regularly. Since switching back to RO water, I stopped adding tap water. But now, I’ve started reintroducing small amounts to help stabilize the nutrient solution. Initially, my RO water had an EC of 0.1, which I increased to 0.2–0.3, and now I plan to raise it to 0.4 before adding nutrients. This should help maintain a more stable pH. The EC was set at 1.4, and now it has dropped slightly to 1.3, which is great news—it means the plant is drinking and absorbing nutrients well. Final Thoughts: ‱ The roots are bouncing back. ‱ The plant is strong and healthy. ‱ I performed heavy defoliation and topped some apical growths to keep the canopy even as I finish filling the Scrog net. ‱ I changed the nutrient solution this week, so we’re on a fresh mix. Now, I’ll let the plant recover from the defoliation, which might slow it down for a couple of days. Overall, things are looking great, and we’re getting closer to flowering!

Day 58 : She is fattening her buds as f@@@ck. CO2 stopped for all ladies. As you can see trichomes still are in cloudy period. So she needs 1 week or 2 until chop chop. The first for sure. She is the most mature. Edit (Day 62) : I watered again with nutrients. She is very stinky and is a heavy smelling lady. I cant identify her smell. After curing it will be more clear. She is full of resin everywhere. Even the pop corns are bathed with resin.

Second week of flush and the girls are looking ready. I’m always learning though and will definitely have to be more savage with my lollipoping in the future as I’ve got a fair bit of larf on lower branches. Almost harvest time 😍😍
