Let’s see , humidity is an issue . It’s higher than I’d like it to be . I added drip pans & two different miniature forms of dehumidifiers one electronic and the other passive . I need recommendations on affordable dehumidifiers before I run into mold issues . After breaking the apical dominance there was one or two issues but it gave me all the more admiration for the genetics to take a beating and still remain unbothered & WHOLE . A main top was bound too tightly & broke in half trying to pull itself back up . It remained broken and unnoticed for atleast 3 days before I saw the damage and taped it . She is now almost fully scarred over & healed . Vertical growth was decent this week I wouldn’t describe it as fast or explosive. Still watering to activate the dry amendments I can tell they haven’t began taking it up quite yet. Holy shit do they stink when not premixed into the soil before planting ! Just monitoring & trying to get as much dense continuous resin packed bud stacked up in there .

The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. I’m glad I started the diary with my first grow. It’s 2020 & this grow had all sorts of stresses and trauma but can out nicely. Ansich gute Sorte, in der Blüte ein leckeren Zitrus Candy Geruch, leider beim Rauchen nicht so exotisch… man macht zar wenig verkehrt mit der Sorte, aber einmal grown reicht für mich, bin leider Pheno Hunter ;)

In questa settimana la crescita é stata veloce anche grazie ai fertilizzanti. LST ho dovuto sistemarlo ogni giorno perché continuavano a crescere nuove gemme e l’apicale tornava sempre su. Il tronco si é irrobustito tanto.

Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

Here we are, the 3 plants started flowering a little bit more than two weeks after the 12h/12h switch 😎 The Jack Herer is yellowing a bit but I started to use some Bio-Bloom, I hope it will help. I reduced the dehumidifier setpoint to 45%. With this setting, the humidity near the plants stays between 40 and 50%. Sometimes, I slightly open the room window to help to decrease the humidity. I have some arthropods called "Protaphorura" in my soil since the beginning of the grow. I didn't manage to take some pictures of them before now. First, because of the pot size, and then too many leaves. They also measure about 1mm long so it was not easy to get a correct shot. I always get some in my soil but from what I found on the internet and experienced, they are harmless. 📆 Semana 9 El cultivo entra en su fase pre-final, con los cogollos prácticamente formados y alcanzando un alto nivel de dureza y peso. La compactación es muy notable en toda la canopia, mientras los cálices terminan de hincharse, aportando ese último empuje antes del cierre definitivo. La resina sigue aumentando y cubre completamente las flores, con tricomas mayoritariamente lechosos y una presencia de ámbar aún moderada, indicando que la maduración está avanzada pero todavía con un pequeño margen antes del punto óptimo de corte. La planta comienza a reducir ligeramente su actividad, manteniendo aún una buena absorción, pero enfocándose ya en afinar calidad, densidad y expresión aromática. El aroma se intensifica y se vuelve más profundo y definido, mostrando ya gran parte de su perfil final, aunque aún puede evolucionar un poco más. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world.
