Weather was finally a bit better, but this plants won't grow really bigger any more. Think it was way to cold in the beginning, so they are far from their real potential. Still beautiful to look at and starting to smell nice.

Senescence is really starting to set in, some nice purple hues in the flowers now which are quite hard to show with my camera 📷 These girls are meant to flower for 60-70 days, based on the maturity of the larger lady, maybe they will finish a bit earlier, but this time even if the trichomes get very amber, I’m going to try and push them through for the full 70 days. I will start checking trichomes next week, I don’t want to give myself any excuse to cut them down. I have chopped too early in the past, either because of botrytis or lack of patience. The flowers on the larger plant aren’t quite as full and symmetrical as the other plants, but she has a lot of colas to support and I’m sure the taste and flavours will be great! Migro UVB got installed today, 3 hours per day at ‘noon’ from now until harvest ✂️ P.s the pictures are a little darker this week, because I wasn’t lazy and dimmed the lights down this time 🙃

🌿 Week 11 – Harvest! (Day 77) Harvest time for my Tropicana Cookies Auto — 77 days from seed to chop. Instead of giving her 24–48 hours of darkness, I decided to harvest right in the middle of her light cycle to preserve maximum THC and terpene content while the resin was at its peak. Trichomes were mostly cloudy with a few amber — exactly where I wanted them. The buds came out dense and sticky with a deep citrus aroma and colorful hues. Final wet weight: 300g, expecting around 60–75g dry after a slow cure. She’s currently drying on mesh racks in a dark, ventilated space with ~21°C and 55–60% RH. I’ll jar her up once the stems snap clean. This was a compact but resin-heavy pheno — rich in terpenes and easy to grow. Really happy with how she turned out. Day 105 The Pinus Contorta Purple Matcha is going crazy with the smell, 1 or 2 more weeks for more trichomes to turn amber. The Fresh Pressed Runtz is doing good too but she's far from being ready (on paper 10 weeks vs the 8/9 of the purple matcha).

First week of flower. One of these will end up herming out with nanners over a month later. Can you guess which one? Feeding is all organic. Once I'm in flower I switched to dry amendments and compost teas and cut out the big bloom. I will also add silica next week as a one time boost.

Well, she keeps disappointing me a bit. If you see her development compared to the two other strains, she is miles behind. Not stretching that much, and flowering stays behind. Im checking for male signs every day as I suspect she might go on me. All conditions are the same. This is a 9 euro seed. 4 of them didn't germinate. 50 bucks down the shitter. The plant right next to her comes from a one dollar seed, xtrakush at weedseeds.site. That's why I plead for the growers to share their lucky shots and give the small-time breeders a break. Also a plea for an expiry date on the products, for the price vs cost of production, we can expect that service. that way renowned breeders also protect their name when third parties sell old seeds to growers that leave bad reviews.
