Another week of trying to keep my hands off her to let this beauty do her thing. This adventure in growing is really becoming a lesson of letting these amazing plants just grow. I have been tempted to defoliate her many times but she is better on her own. Maybe next grow I'll lollipop one, but so far I am thrilled with what I have. Maybe another 2 weeks.

Hey all! Reminder: MIDDLE PLANT IS GSC #1. BOTTOM LEFT PLANT IS GSC #2. (Bottom right is mystery seed, two in the back are FastBuds Gelato. This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). WOW wow WOW. I just cannot believe the rate of growth this past week. The girls have just EXPLODED with growth! These girls are definitely turning out to be waaaaay bigger than my last grow of GSC. The big fabric pots are amazing. Unfortunately, half-way through the past week I noticed yellow tips on the leaves. I have been using organic nutrients, but have not given the girls plain water in between any of the feedings. I've been feeding with nutes mostly once a week, but sometimes twice. I think this is definitely a sign of nute burn. So, yesterday, I flushed the plants out twice with plain PH'd water. I hope that has stopped the nute burn in its tracks. The bud sites are just starting to form. The LST that I did seems to be definitely worth it - top bud sites everywhere!! I cannot wait to start seeing some buds bulking up! Growing some seeds I won from Diary of the Month here on Grow Diaries!!! I'm so grateful and excited for another learning experience doing what I love! Thank you, FastBuds! 🙏 Seed was germinated directly in Rapid Rooter placed in a seedling tray. I put her in darkness for 48 hours and then in a sunny window. Three days later, the seedling's little head poked up and the next day she showed me her first true leaves - calling this day 1. I kept the seedling tray in a sunny window and brought her outside for lunch on my sunny deck with me for the rest of the week. Given the heatwave we were having here, I got her settled into her net basket sooner rather than later so that she could have a more stable environment. This plant will is being grown indoors in an 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using an 8 gallon Current Culture Solo Bucket under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED. For grow media I am using clay pellets and I use the entire Cultured Solutions line of nutrients. I will be showcasing this plant in a grow tutorial over on my YouTube channel and IGTV where I am going to show a detailed walk through of how I grew my original "Budzilla" plant. Unfortunately, I don't have a grow diary for her, but she is featured on my IG account. The technique I use I created after harvesting my first grow. I had used low stress training on an autoflower and achieved beautiful results. I took notes the entire grow and conducted a postmortem. I sincerely advise doing this for EVERY grow - especially when you are learning. It provides you opportunity to figure out what went right, what went wrong, what could have gone better, and what ideas you think you can toss into the mix to try to improve on the places that need revamping. I did this and I came up with the hypothesis of starting my plant off-center in the net basket, and then growing it low and in a spiral around the outside. In my head, I thought something like this could really push the limits of low stress training, especially when used on an autoflower where we have a limited time of vegetative growth. I didn't realize, at the time, JUST how effective the technique would be, but when the grower community on IG exploded over the sight of my plant, I started to get a feeling a did something right. As I was still only growing my second plant in my entire grow career, I was completely oblivious to the fact that I had pushed the normal boundaries of an autoflower.... I had nothing else to really compare it to. Nearly a year later, photos of my Budzilla are still being shared around social media in the grow community and I still get asked regularly about how I grew her. And with that, we start here on the journey to attempt the recreation of my former masterpiece. But I'm taking it one step further and giving you a detailed, step-by-step guide so that even the newest of growers can follow along and learn how to push an autoflower to its beautiful edge. Week 4 the right plant shows a deficiency... no idea what that is. the light from the lamp was too strong at first but it shouldn't be... I don't know - I'll keep an eye on it... I think the left plant looks good... growing splendidly - sativa genes are showing... the right plant is growing more bushy 👉Defoliation and exposing the shoots👈 I removed all the leaves that were or would soon be covered with scissors ✂️ - I started in the middle to give the plant more air flow

29.06. OG KUSH-Day 65# 29.06. The plants have finally started growing again, some have almost completely recovered, some are still recovering, and some are in critical condition. The plants stopped growing for almost a week, maybe even that long, during those days they literally made no progress, the situation only worsened to the extent that I was sure that all but one plant would wither... There were storms yesterday and the day before yesterday, and that's why I'm late with the update because I couldn't take a picture of them, the gusts of wind were really strong. Watering is now more frequent and abundant, now I water them every 3rd or 4th day, everything depends on the temperature on those days, whether there is wind, how much moisture there is, etc. The last time they were watered was before the storm and they are already thirsty today as you can see in the pictures, it will be a day and I will water them in the morning. Today I removed their leaves again and now I can freely say that they have twice as few leaves as they should, so when it's time for defoliation, I probably won't do it at all, or at least not a lot. The day before yesterday it was the end of the ninth week for the plants, now they are already in the tenth, but in order not to miss the ninth week, I will write it in the ninth and I will write the next update 2 days earlier, more precisely, on time. The day before yesterday it also rained, there was a downpour for about 40 minutes, but the spray that I sprayed on the plants failed to absorb, it simply stuck to the leaf, it is greasy, you can see that in the pictures, the leaves are shining. I think the biggest problem was caused by the fact that it sticks to the leaf and when the sun is strong, the leaf simply burns. In general, do not use the product from the last picture, it can easily kill the plants. Most of the plants have almost recovered and are getting better, however, the rain can't stop that shit and I also tried to wash it, but it's not worth it, so there is a high probability that the problem will return when the temperatures rise again and the UV is almost extreme and that could be a problem... the temperatures have normalized again to 30 during the day, but in 4-5 days they are announcing again around 36-7.. I will copy the problem that befell the plants from the previous two diaries of other strains from a few days ago in order not to explain everything again, so whoever is interested should read it in more detail. 25.06. the condition is medium sad... the plants have not progressed at all, why? Well, because I'm a moron who doesn't think... Basically, what happened.. I sprayed the plants with an organic preparation against thrips and similar pests and if there was no need for it because this is growing outside and absolutely these little things can't do anything for them except something miserable to slow down their growth, but nothing terrible... and now, I didn't even want it to slow them down miserably, so I ordered a product called "SMC Spidermite Control" I sprayed the plants overnight, the next day when I came to the site, I had something to see... which is the worst I sprayed all the plants, instead of checking on one and only then spraying the others...autos I wanted to spray all the same, luckily I only sprayed 5 of them, as if God himself told me "wait until tomorrow to see how the plants will react" and continue...I come to the site and I have something to see...all the plants, but all, some more, some less, but the leaves were massacred blue, black, purple, there were all colors, everything was there, but the least healthy leaves, as if I had sprayed them with the biggest poison, I think that even in that case they would have passed better... was it the product itself or the sun that was strong during the day (I sprayed them at night and the nights were around 18 C in the coldest part of the night, so they had time to dry, it's not that they couldn't dry, but it all stuck to sheets, it was all shining, I think they could see how bright it was from the plane, but literally... I removed almost 50% of the leaf mass from some plants, from some smaller ones... the tips that were supposed to grow and be ready for a new topping just started, so they had stopped completely for a couple of days literally... the situation is now as you can see in the pictures, there are a few leaves that appeared after spraying with that product, and it is still appearing, but very little, just, just, and this there was no point in leaving the leaves that I plucked because they were completely destroyed, I have never seen them in my life... The site I bought it on said that the preparation was organic and completely safe, nowhere did it say that it can literally kill the plants, not even on the preparation itself... I am very sad about this, I have been spraying them with clean water every morning before sunrise since it appeared and the tops have slowly started to grow, this crap is appearing less and less, and I have no more leaves where should I remove it, I would just kill the plants... I hope they will recover (except for one plant that is in a critical condition and the automatics that were sprayed are also in a very critical condition, they are young and will hardly survive this) but if not, I have another white runtz that is not in the diary, it is a little more than 3 weeks old, so I will transplant it into 200 liters of soil, so at least something will come out... I feel very sorry for the plants, I already have enough money invested, and this is also my therapy, cultivation heals me… I'm very angry with the people who sold it to me, and they didn't warn me about such a thing, if it's not written on the bottle itself and on the website, and I've been buying from them for years and they know what I'm growing... the product is not cheap, I paid money for something that will kill my plants, fuck... I mean, fuck money, I feel sorry for the plants, but you understand what I'm saying... I'm also angry at those who put the product on the market in the first place, and I would say all kinds of things I did it, but it's better to keep quiet... and mostly I'm angry with myself because I believed what it says and didn't check the product, like the biggest amateur... But what's here is now, let's move on... Today is the 57th day of the plant's life, yesterday was the end of the eighth week. Watering is now more frequent, every 3-4 days, it depends, the heat is already high, today it was at least 40 C in the shade, the forecast says 35. Since the last update, the plants were fed once and for the first time after transplanting, this morning most of them were fed for the second time, the next watering or two will be with clean water. So I started getting this weird deficiency several weeks ago, but now it seems to have taken over the entire plant. I know that RO water has no CalMag, but I upped the CaliMagic dose and its just gotten worse. Going to have to consult with some of my growmies to see whats going on.

Blütewoche 4 - 04.09. – 11.09.2026 Diese Woche stand vor allem eine größere Entlaubung an. Ich habe ordentlich Blätter entfernt und gleichzeitig einige kleine Triebe aus den unteren, dunkleren Bereichen rausgenommen. Hauptgrund war die momentan ziemlich hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit. Teilweise lag sie bei 70–80 %, deshalb wollte ich die Pflanze etwas luftiger bekommen und späteren Problemen mit Schimmel möglichst vorbeugen. Mittlerweile bekomme ich die Luftfeuchtigkeit zeitweise schon in Richtung 50–60 %, allerdings schwankt das Ganze momentan ziemlich stark mit dem Wetter und steigt auch mal wieder auf knapp 70 %. Noch mache ich mir deswegen keine großen Sorgen, aber mit zunehmender Blütendichte muss der Wert auf jeden Fall weiter runter. Ansonsten sieht die Utopia Haze wirklich richtig gut aus. Der Stretch scheint mittlerweile weitestgehend durch zu sein und jetzt geht die Energie deutlich in die Blütenproduktion. Die Buds werden langsam kompakter, die weißen Härchen immer zahlreicher und die einzelnen Blütenansätze wachsen Stück für Stück zusammen. Auch die Harzproduktion nimmt ordentlich Fahrt auf. Die Zuckerblätter sind mittlerweile richtig schön mit Harz überzogen und die Pflanze klebt wie Hulle. Gleichzeitig wird auch der Geruch immer intensiver. Momentan würde ich ihn als sehr süßlich-würzig beschreiben, mit einer zusätzlichen Note, die ich noch nicht so richtig zuordnen kann. Alles in allem bin ich mit der Entwicklung gerade super zufrieden. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie sich die Buds in den kommenden Wochen weiter aufbauen.

Diese Woche hat sich die Sonne von Ihrer besten Seite gezeigt und alles gegeben...........😊 Den beiden Ladies hat es sehr gut getan und sie sind schön in die Höhe und Breite gewachsen....... Auch das Sorgenkind der beiden hat die mega Sonne nichts ausgemacht und ich denke das sie endgültig übern Berg ist.......😁 Jetzt hinkt sie natürlich der normal gewachsenen Pflanze ca.2 Wochen hinterher.....😌 Bei der grösseren Lady sind auch schon erste Blüteansätze zu erkennen....... Ausser etwas LST habe ich die beiden in Ruhe gelassen und sie in der Sonne chillen lassen......😜 Drücke allen Outdoor-Bauern die Daumen, dass es so schön sonnig bleibt und die Temperaturen sich auf Normalwerte einpendeln.......

Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are filling up more and the first pistils start to get brown, which shows the plants start to ripen and go towards harvest time. The smell they exude is STRONG now and VERY PLEASANT. The aroma is sweet, peachy with sandalwood undertones and is MOUTH-WATERING. The plants are TRICHOME MONSTERS and are covered in crystals, any little touch and your fingers stay sticky for hours.

Day 78 - these gnarly buds are so dense! a. will be using Ripen blend now b. going the distance with this lady, there are many little solid calyx like buds all over the place c. still about 20+ days to go d. the smell is INTENSE, the resin production is incredible Day 79 - she loves Ripen a. buds grew everywhere b. will be getting 2 full weeks of ripen, then flush with FloraKleen e. changed to an 18/6 light schedule to generate even more resin Day 80 - swelling a. all the little buds are swelling up b. the top buds are gnarly as hell on this plant, the smell though is so intense Day 81 - buds are still growing a. growth occurring all over the place b. like Dinafem says, the buds will become too heavy for the branches and you MUST tie them up, they will bubble out and grow like crazy c. I captured some video of the sativa calyx jungle today d. this plant LOVES GHE Ripen! Day 82 - explosions everywhere a. the calyx like buds are exploding all over the place Day 83 - smells great a. love this classic haze smell! Day 84 - this plant is a MUTANT MONSTER!
