Hello this is the end of week2 and the beginning of week 3 of veg. I found some small white marks and knew it was thrips... so I sprayed them with some Doctor Doom to get rid of them. I guess I didn't shake the can enough or sprayed too close and burnt the little seedlings. Felt bad. But they are bouncing back. The new leaves look good. The plants are getting some regular nutrients and seem to be growing good now. I'll start to sex them at around week 5 and then every watering after that I'll get down with my magnifying glass and look at the preflowers. Most will show their sex by week 8 and I'm only keeping 1 male for breeding. The best male, I hope. Seeing how the second strain didn't start so good, I'll put these girls into the green house. Got 6 spots in there for the 6 best females. I'll determine which is the best males and females, with the stem rub test. I'll tell you about it later... We've made it to day 28! - 17/12/20 The girls seem to be happy and healthy today. I won't be feeding/watering them as the pots are still heavy from yesterdays feed. A few of the girls have started to show sex & the smell has picked up a little bit(inside the tent), so I'm hoping to see some flowering begin this week sometime. (I've been using my iPhone as my only DSLR lens is useless for focusing on certain depths, but I hate the colour I get using the iPhone... I may be switching back to DSLR unless I can find a better camera app.) update - day 29 (18/12/20) Short update today. Fed the girls today and will probably be feeding/watering every day from here on out, we'll see though. veg growth has really taken off by now, I'm hoping to see some flowering this week. update - day 30 (19/12/20) I fed the girls today. I need to find a better way to hand water, the plants are so short and bushy its a pain getting in between all the branches. I wish i left my drip feed system up and running, I will definitely refine it and use it next run. Update - day 31 (20/12/20) Fed the girl's straight water today. I'm going to purchase the pieces I need tomorrow to reconfigure my drip feed system & hopefully have it running by mid-week! Update - day 32 I attempted to set up my drip feed system today but the plants are too thick around the base to place the halo around :( I will have to wait until next season to set it up, oh well, I guess its hand watering for the next 5-10 weeks Fingers crossed these girls start to flower ASAP. I fed the girls today, everything is looking good so far. I also moved the plants around to try to make hand watering easier, I had issues trying to water the whole pot instead of just one spot due to plants/branches being in the way. Update - Day 34 - 23/12/20 It definitely seems ill be watering the girls every day from here on out. All the girls look fairly happy and healthy, they're getting a bit big for the 5x5 they're in. D57/FD29 - So, at the last few days of week 4, the SCP had a good push to itself...put on about 6-9" so had to do some bending/leaning of some pretty stiff stems. Unfortunately the only way for them to go was towards the tent walls so drops the light but they're getting WAYYYY over the DLI they should be getting without supplementation of CO2 but its not doing them too much harm. They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at (what would be recommended) strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geekbeast also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator and great to see them honouring the Warranty. Apart from that, wish the SCP would start to set flowers better, they're still looking a bit weak up top but stems appear to be stacking. Hopefully now that last push happened (and hopefully all pushed out!!!!), they will concentrate on buds only...this may be a 10+ week-er - which again, cant really afford as growing tent is drying tent!!! Its supposed to be a 75% indica so would expect bigger/quicker flowering but not showing too many symptoms of being mostly indica...maybe not quite a fully stable genetic line yet?? I dunno but its running slower like a sativa - even with the flower initiator and the late push would maybe imply that too??? Funnily, its tent mate, Red Hot Cookies is 60% sativa and has set flowers quite well so far - showing colour to the tips of the pistils...just wish it would start turning pink!!! Hi legends, Day 47 of week 7 This week has seen a massive difference, 3 of the plants have started turning purple which I find strange as all the cutting were taken from the same mother plant. we also have a leaf with seed pod the same as Bnc grower, not sure what causes this anyone? but my guess is that she just wants to get germinated any way she can.. Have started to flush with pre RO water at ph 6.3, this is near impossible to ph with a meter at 0 CF, So I have to PH the water with PH 6. 7.6 colour chart. Also this week the buds are much more resinous and the aromas are fantastic, especially fruity with a very distinct peach smell. I also noted that IMO many smaller buds have not been receiving enough light and therefore not ripening as well, these will be used for making hash looking at the trichomes most still clear but on the purple plant they are mostly cloudy. Ttfn Greenies 😍

Divine jelly has some really interesting leaves they are pointy and small I can already tell this plant is going to show attributes that are not common. I’m excited to see what kinda exotic looking plant it turns into It’s day 41 from seed and all of the plants are really thriving

Everything is going as planned, some phenos of the nana glue are putting on trichomes! Plants are starting to slow down on the stretch. I’ll lollipop and defoliate this tent in a few days and get ready for the flower to bulk up . Also going to feed them in the upcoming week to make sure they have all the food they need to fatten up in mid to late flower

What up grow fam. These 3 finally got the chop. Wow do they smell pungent. The flowers came out nice, not to dense but neither airy. The wet weight for these came out to 912g. To say they're coated in frost is an understatement looking like a winter wonderland.

Week 10, 3/5/2020 - 10/5/2020, as you can see she almost has overtaken the tent, she is 1 meter high now, and I think now she 's into full flowering mode. Buds are already glittery and cant wait to see them swell. Her scent is spices and a bit of a diesel.

It can't be a calcium deficiency since I have been feeding 6ml of calcium to 5 liters of water. The only difference was the proximity of the light.

Sunday, July first was the start of week 5. Having slight issues with the mothers but the clones are doing awesome! So even if they die I have 17 more tries, lol. UPDATE: Saturday, July 10...final step in mainline. I was super excited to do this 😁 Here goes nothing, lol. Oh, and the clones are rooted and potted!!!
