Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. So please prepare to enjoy some of Mr Kellys finest The first song is a brand new one called Sleep Australia Sleep in which he evokes many emotions and anger with his poignant ords and the haunting images of destruction of our beautiful country thru both natural and man made disasters such as the recent horrific bushfires and floods, plus also the damage to our ecosystem from pollution, rubbish and envionmental terrorism performed in the name of industry ( mining, oil drilling coal power stations etc etc This song really touched a nerve in me being a true blue Aussie and passionate Animal lover so I urge you all to actually watch the video and listen to the song. this is the video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hY1w_c7nO4 the second song is on a much lighter note & is called "Dumb things " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR-eTR3Dcps which apparently was quite popular in the US at the time of it's first release. Update 14/09/20 - All systems ahead at this stage. Plants are drinking approximately 2.5 litres per day and reservoir is constantly filled and Ph checked daily. Ph average 6.1 Humidity 50% Day Temp 28c Night 20c Seems to be Approximately 3 weeks left on Colorado Cookie & one of the mixed bag as well or may be slightly ahead, by possibly a few days. Time schedule looks as though 1 of the mixed bags 1st, then Colorado Cookie, 3rd Second mixed bag (lightly topped) then may a week or 2 will be the Blueberry. The next weeks 4 weeks are exciting!!! I'm excited to see how much more they fill out from this point! They may exceed my expectations!! 14/09/20 - I increased the nutrients slightly as the Blueberry was a little light green as opposed to all other plants that have that have lush green into flowering as well as a little extra flower boost to try to fatten up the buds. 5 mls extra of Flower Booster 25 mls per 10 ltrs. 16/09/20 - Realised that Mixed bag x 2 & Colorado Cookie only have approximately 3 - 4 weeks, so I decided to begin to reduce the nutrients instead on the 3 girls. Blueberry is at least 2 weeks behind so I have continued to feed her 1/4 nutrients and 20mls bloom per 10 ltrs. Did another defoliation on the Blueberry and this will be the last time for her until later in flower. very light defoliation of bud sites to Mixed bag x 2 & Colorado Cookie. * The Colorado Cookie has a magnificient fragrance, the Mixed bag as I'm not sure what they are they do have a Citrus fragrance. Trichomes have begun and are still clear An eye must be kept on Trichomes from here * 17/09/20 - Systems are good and everything moving along nicely.

Week 16 Everybody is on Flower! End of August: daylight 13h20: 7h20/20h40. Day temperature max: 26°C - Night temperature : 17°C Sunny weather - 2/3 rainy days in 2 weeks Enriched the soil with seaweed powder and bat guano. Continue to add flowering nutrients: Grower Master I added some Calmag one time. Watering 2L/plant every 3 days (2 days would be better) With humidity growing and the relatives hot temperatures: the predators are attacking plants. Everything appears so fast: Aphids, caterpillars, leaf miner flies. Did a general defoliation before spray my mixture Garlic + laurel (12cl Garlic juice + 5cl laurel infusion + 1L distilled water: beware PH!!). I sprinkled diatomaceous earth on top of soil to protect and minimize the infestation. Brake Pad Breath: still deep green and bushy. Flowering since 4 weeks. The most advanced, pretty good flowers with long pistils are growing. Spared until now: the plant is victim of Aphids, miner leaf flies and caterpillars in a « reasonable way »….try to eradicate the problem without shocking the plant at this stage. Flash Back#2: around 2 weeks flowering, stretched a few centimeters more, well developed plants with lot of blooming sites. Relatively spared by pests, just some aphids. GMO X Zombie Kush: some difficulties to recover….just engaged the flowering process, not to bad if she resist to the second pest’s wave. Royal Moby: uncertain destiny….recovering good, sativa style: 155cm, just starting the flowering stage…super late! Harvested a pretty auto flower: White Russian by Serious Seeds. Well developed plant, a little bit long to be ready but resinous and meaty buds.

Gonna harvest and hang to dry tomorrow.

Super excited for this run. I'm always on the search for new quality genetics and fruity terps. This time I chose Elev8. I watched an interview with them and decided to try. They start all their genetics with high quality clone cuts. Pretty interesting and if you ask me that's how I'd do it if I was gonna to something like that. Water for 36 hours then in the solo cup. 80% filled with my mix and the top 20% is just coco/perlite. 5/6 popped up. We begin!

Harvest took about 3 hours! The buds are big, firm and covered in gluey trichomes! harvest of the highest class!

She was thirsty this morning and watered not too long before update; hence not completely perky. Working on heavy LST to make best use of space when it gets moved to flower tent. Unsure how long I’ll keep her in veg. Photos/video taken 35 days after breaking soil

I just changed the solution on FBT 2401. She was showing deficiency signs. I figured it was time to change it and try a little lower tds. She has been growing regardless. She just isn't thriving like I prefer. Everything is going okay overall. Hopefully my issue is now resolved and She will take off. Week 10 Flower — The Beauty Before the Finish This week marks a very special chapter in the Eternity Grow Cup. As we approach harvest, the garden is simply glowing with beauty. But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. The plant is big enough, so I've done some LST :) Also this is the last week that I can spray the mixture with neem oil because from the next, this girl will start flowering.

I transferred it to a half-gallon pot and I mixed the organic fertilizer with the soil.

GENERAL COMMENT. So the RQS STRESS KILLER AUTO is down. Now we have the NL to manoeuvre and try to keep her alive for the final flush. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTO COMMENT. Many but slim colas emerged, showing extreme spotting and deficiencies, but gained weight since last week and started turning purple, first time that happens. So now the final flush started and hope, afraid taste could be off, because of the problems i ran in with her, probably a good strain to considere light feeding, the smell is very gentle, a good strain to do stealth. 10-14 day to go! Yield could be amazing but will be common because of the locks, nothing out of the curve in my opinion, something to retry and correct to deal with this strain. Not turned on or off by her just feeling neutral and glad she made it. Trichomes wise she is just ready, mostly cloudy, she will finish with some amber will do a nice sleeping aid. Trim job will be a pain on this one because i will clean all the small affected spotted leaves.

😤07/02/2024👹 Yoo gang update!!!! So the GDP has left the building going to a great home as well as the last 2 clones of the godfather of as well same place. Stretching nicely! A bit long internode distance and small buds and slightly more stretch than the rest, but I bet the quality of the resin will make up for it!
