This week has gone well again end of the upcoming week I’m gunna give them one last strip down then just let her do her thing. She’s a big girl and the smell is amazing grapefruit peels with a very sour background can’t wait to try this girl as grapefruit is one of my favourites and this girl has it all 😍

Week 2 and this girl is still looking more yellow and funky than I like. I'm pretty sure my soil is just way too hot. I tried flushing it through, but that just seemed to lead to general overwatering issues. I'm planning on transplanting to larger pots with more neutral soil this weekend and hope that will help straighten things out.

Good start, one of girls is bit smaller, but it's not big problem now. Started adding nutrients. Be optimistic!

Everything looking great . Got new lights today Mars TS 1000w Never mind all the mixed reviews online regarding these lights .. they are great ! No notice and there is not much heat off these lights. Also LTS tieing down branches at this point to get an even canopy later .. I prefer to have more smaller colas then one big cola

7 months after planting her from seed the day is finally here. A little earlier than I would of liked due to insects (crickets/grasshoppers eating buds) but she's thereabouts finished. Probably lost 1/3 of buds from the chewing insects but still a big yield and my drying room is full 😊 She survived two rainy season's and some serious wind from a tropical depression back in September. I have kept this grow completely organic so no pesticide or chemical fertilizers used. Apart from heavily amending the soil at the start I mostly fed her crabmeal once a month and seaweed and molasses in most waterings. A few of those waterings were diluted with my urine 😆👌 NPK right!? Why not.. then at the end I added a cultured pro biotic yogurt to the soil 2 days before I harvested. (Tip from a fellow grower @med_in_tropic - thanks bro) Not sure if it made any difference as I cannot compare with another plant but, the plant starting smelling like lemon furniture polish.. like a lemon scent with a fuel undertone. Almost menthol like 🤷‍♂️.. smells amazing. Me and my wife drank tea from the trimming and the citrusy flavour came though into the tea which was nice. Weather wise the temperature is down now to around 16c at night with RH around 50% so the buds should dry much slower than the last harvest so I should get a better flavour profile. Smoke report to follow after she has been in a jar for a week or so.. I did try a bud sample a few weeks back and the taste then was already pleasant so for sure this will be fire... 🔥 Thanks for all the kind comments, this was my first ever grow start to finish. June 16th, 2022 - plant had some living soil amended into substrate, plant was fed on the 14th, defoliated a bit, extra support installed due to the punishing winds of the location. More Rain Heat and Humidity are scheduled. See where it goes… she looks Healthy

I've discovered this week my timer that was powering the 600w LED had developed a fault and was turning on roughly an hour early, explains why Holy Punch has been taking a while to kick in to full flower. Has probably put the grown behind by about 10 days which is a bit annoying but these things happen. The Holy Punch is getting pretty thirsty and I have to say she's looking very nice. I've taken the 600w led out and replaced it with 2 x 300w leds either side of the hps to spread light more evenly.

Honestly this was a really great grow the only thing I had an issue with is foxtailing on the main top kola but that's because I couldn't raise the light anymore lol but all the other buds knuckled perfectly and are wonderful.

Big round of defoliation. Very excited to see stretch, they seem to have entered it after a few days delay. Been clearing up larf in rounds as well, they're not quite lollipopped but I've developed my colas. Most smaller tertiary branches are gone, unless theyre sturdy and not going to crowd. instead of completely removing offending tertiary branches, i have left a single node with a single growth tip on each to yield bud. Trying to remove only the weak, malformed growth and stuff that crowds.... want long, thick colas. Recharge, fresh Actively Aerated Compost Tea w/ alfalfa meal, organic cal mag only, sometimes just spring water and cal mag ph'd.
