Day 63 from germination. All 3 plants look and smell amazing. Have about 12 days left before I chop them down. Definitely ended up with 3 very different pheno types. All 3 have a very sweet smell with a hint of diesel. Even though I’m using super soil for these plants. I still like to flush the last 2 weeks. Watering every 4 days and have about 2 watering left.

Seeing LOTS of new growth this week already.

So this is going to be the last week of veg for my ladies and I think ill be flipping by Wednesday "ish". A fair bit has happened in the last week, I managed to split the main stem.of the dark phoneix the other day being a bit too rough with her, thankfully the split went straight down the middle.and didn't even make her droop or wilt at all, 2 cable ties and some.string and she's right as rain again lol. Really want that break to heal before flipping her so I can get those cable ties off the main stem before the stretch! Last thing I want is her growing into them and making it impossible to remove. I managed to over water the smaller girls as well so im not paying too much attention to those ladies now, whatever they produce they produce my investment is my big girl. I Will say that john innes stuff is SUPER heavy and im.really struggling with drainage so back to bio bizz light mix after this that added perlite makes a big difference! I have also made a mini aeroponic cloner today which fits inside my propagator, who new an old plastic cracker tub, some soil plugs and a few airstones could make something so useful 🤣 This dark phoenix is such a tough plant I don't want to lose her genetics so im goin to try my best to root these cuttings before flipping her to flower next week. All being well by the time these plants are finished I will have at least 4 nice big healthy girls ready to send straight into flower as soon as this stuff is down and dried 🤞 Think that's all for this week see you all when she starts her flowering cycle 👍 Happy smoking people

6th week of flower

And the flowering begins! Changed the timer today to 12/12. The plant stems don't seem perfect to me but the clones didn't come as good as they should have been. They were the only ones i had though. The temperature is too high but i can't lower it anymore it's too hot were i live. Can't wait for the colder days! :/ Usually i opt for Scrog but this time i'm going with LST instead because since the grow space is small, its easier for me in case i want to flush or move the plants around. Gonna start the bloom boosters next week. Yay!

Things are still picking up. I've almost got my light at it's maximum height and she keeps pushing taller. Two different phenos from what I popped. One is shorter and is really stacking on bud sights and starting to frost up. The other is trying to push almost a foot taller and seems to be about a week behind the other plant in terms of bud development. Did some defoliation a few days ago and cleaned up lower bud sites that were not going to reach the canopy.

Put on some growth. Finally made it into flowering 💐

2/4: Photo session day! These are the fastest, most vigorously growing plants in the garden, but also the slowest to flower.😕 I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today with about 3/4 gallon and sprayed them down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time this run. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls are taller than anybody else in the garden, and still stretching (unfortunately). Surprisingly, they're also the slowest to pop pistils. They are flowering, but slow as hell for an indica dominant strain. I probably should have left them all in the dark for a full day when I switched to flower to encourage them to flip faster. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom today. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's not cooler than 72f, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. Isn't it time someone said that? Cause lets keep it real, we are talking seeds that in any other case would have a cost of production of fractions of cents per seed. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. Me: i grow organic weed for 30 years, these seeds were old Seed dealer: Yes but you failed to do a raindance on the rising moon, no refund. Me: but its for cannabis? Weed industry: Yes why we charged you double! Me: wow no germination after paying 20 bucks for seeds? Industry: They are all stoners, they won't notice.... 6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Man. 12 hours trimming fuck man and I'm moving on to photos now lmao I don't even know what I'm getting myself into. My goal into this venture was to learn how to grow weed ,not only for myself, but just as good as dispensaries do too. And with the way this plant turned out I gotta say I'm really getting somewhere. The resin on the plant was incredible. I kept scraping off my pruning shears with a razor and making little hash balls I'm gonna throw in a blunt later. And the smell! Oh God it's so strong when I was trimming I swear I was getting a temporary buzz just inhaling it constantly I loved it and the smell. Almost like a fruity cat piss type of smell wonderful. Will be adding a pic of root ball in the morning after a well earned night's sleep lmao
