Perfectly easy grow.

Hi liebe Community! 💚 In den letzten zwei Wochen hat sich die Pflanze wunderbar weiterentwickelt. Der Wuchs der Pflanze ist sehr kräftig und nun war es an der Zeit, die Pflanze zu drehen, damit sich ein leicht entstandener Höhenunterschied wieder ausgleicht. So dass sich die seitlich runtergebundenen Triebe besser entwickeln können. Außerdem habe ich nun einige Sonnensegel zurückgeschnitten, damit die Pflanze ihre kompaktere Wuchsform beibehält. In spätestens zwei Wochen, wird die Blüte eingeleitet😉 Die Wachstumsbedingungen im Growschrank sind weiterhin am Optimum und Stabil: ——————— 🌞 Temp: 26°C 🌚 Temp: 20 °C 💨 RH: 68% VPD: 0,7 kPa ———————

Estamos en la primera semana de vegetativo, ya que a la anterior se la conoce como semana de germinación. Las plantas empiezan a mostrar las primeras hojas reales por encima de los cotiledones. Cuidado con que la humedad relativa del aire, no sea demasiado baja, lo ideal sería alrededor de un 65%. En esta etapa solo regamos suavemente con agua cada 5 días aprox.

Plants in the main tent are coming along well since correcting the light intensity and run-off ppm, the one on the left is filling out now, so is the one in the middle just much slower. Not sure if I will let that one cook longer or just pull it with the rest... will see how she looks in a week. The plant on the right I spread out to take up almost half of the tent (I didn't want the spindler taking up unnecessary space) - her nugs are real nice - some foxtails and bleaching on the taller ones but for the most part looking good. Plant on the left has filled out a lot more despite its weirder more "wiry" bud structure - does't look as nice as the good plants but definitely better than the spindly plant in the middle. Big Mumma is still killing it - wondering if its getting close to flush time for her as it looks like some of her tricomes are starting to brown...

The tropicana cherry is a magnificent plant. Its stocky and stout with really great node space. I love how solid she is and i just see such a good foundation for stretch. A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

She is back after suffering in the tent. :) I don't know it seems to be liked by the fox some shit is taken there... Why where my plant is.... ? This is a cross of Super Lemon Haze & Clementine bringing you an earthy lemon haze on the inhale and an orangy sweet smooth explosive burst on the exhale. Hard Defoliation was done around day 30, as you can see. She had wide fans but underneath had grown her nodes enough to stand alone. Took about 25% of the Defoliation planned for the 3-4 Days. On Day 34, she's a fantastic grower. The biggest in the tent out of them all. I plan to Pre flower her by next week. And after pre flower her tops will be HST'ed and during the start of the flip. I'll take most of what I don't want or that doesn't look like it'll have heavy stigmata sites. (Stand alone bud sites will be removed). She just went through a hard defoliation of her many of her top fans throughout the week. I usually take up to 15-25% a day or until my fully planned defoliation is done 3-4 days. I'll give what's left time to catch up. Then remove those major fan leafs once they've produced a node that can grow on its own strenght without to much delay. So, all in all another week. Not the 2 months as planned in veg. But, I didn't expect such growth so fast. Not with this development anyways. She's a super pheno. Checked sites, no bracts, hairs have popped (meaning she's throwing out the hormone that is telling you, she's ready to flip when you are) 730nm will be used during the Fattening stage to enhance the DLI (lighting on my 1hr40mins) this will only be used for the fattening stage. Then UV-A will be used in ripening. 1hr a day in 2x30m windows and 1hr x2 after 5-6 days into ripening for the remaining of ripening up until the last 1-2 days when she'll be ran on a low ppfd (like a sunset) or ill put her to sleep and put in a 48hr dark rest. TBD Day 35 she's at to moving through this week great. Took a clone. Had to. All though I've not had a taste. If the bud is good. I'll be delighted to have this clone that will be well into veg by the time she's done. I've decided to put her into flower by day 40ish I'll LST her. Last defoliation of leafs were nodes have grown enough to push themselves. Its wasn't my plan. A 4-5 month grow. If I leave this girl for another 4 weeks in veg. She'll take over the whole tent. Alga Grow will be stopped on after the next feeding. And bloom will be added. Power buds will be used for pre flower stage. 420Fastbuds FBT2304/Week12 These beautiful girls are getting close to being finished, and really, I can not wait. The fade on the bigger one is a little more heavier than the other but over all health seems to be great. They are super super sweet smelling which is intoxicating when you get a wiff. Checking the trichs and still seeing a few clear on the taller one so will hold off a couple days before looking again and chopping. All in all Happy Growing

Day 80. Almost done but trichoms are still mostly transparent.

8/17/19 I took 6 more clones prior to spraying her with silver. She has been outside for 1 week. I can already smell the tangerine. 😁 Time will tell. The clones are growing like crazy. My original date to start flowering the first 8 maybe more was 9/7/19.... but its going to get too crowded really soon. 30 plants in a 2 foot × 3 foot area gets tight quickly. And watering is a f××king nightmare daily... I actually lift each plant every day to see if it needs water. It never lies, you can always feel it. It's the best way to know. My light is wonderful...I could not be happier. It's an HLG 100 V2 4000k Quantum board. I still have two 19w lights on the side but I will move them to the second level. To use all my space. I got 6 more babies coming.

Got a bottle of Biotonex from the nice folks @Cannaboom, the promised shorter internodial distance actualy shows, as far as i can tell at this point Plants started smelling realy nice and sweet
