1/29/24 - Beginning of week. Looked good, was planning on letting it go another week but within a day the top leaves started turning yellow all over and I started seeing amber, just a few but spread out all over the plant, so last minute decision to harvest on 1/31/24.

Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. The Bruce banner was probably hit the most with over watering but is bouncing back. She is the ugly duckling of the grow. TEMP Max 32.2 Avg 26.5 Min 21.9 Humid Max 71.2% Avg 58.4% Min 50.3% VPD Max 2.32 Avg 1.44 Min 0.85

Start of 12/12 light cycle, round 2 with the citrus skunk strain. Increased feeding to 6L per plant (water + nutes), hopefully this increase will keep the plants healthier throughout the grow.

Mostly going well this week, I think mass has reached the same level as my last grow now with 5 weeks left to go... I am hoping to cut them down on the 13th of March 2020 which is 37 days from today... As long as the trichomes play ball and show me what I want to see - mostly cloudy, with 10 - 20% amber 🤞 One big issue I have, I realised today I must have accidentally pressed the 'random' button on one of my light timers. So one of the lights were on when I came in just before lights on today... I hope it won't screw things up :( Happy growing everyone!

Duckies are blowing up again. They look a bit rough, that's alright to be expected from 3 weeks with no water change or nutes. First full week of nutes, with add back calmag, getting the ladies to flex.

Fast and SIMPLE patio grow, perfect for an impatient grower. 72 days from seed to harvest. Could have taken some of the branches at 68-70d. Responded well to pinching back growth to encourage branching. Tested yield by leaving one plant natural and pinching back the other. Pinching back produced way more bud and the plant didn’t seem to mind. The smaller plant only produced 8 bud clusters and those were fairly airy, but showed amber hues a little sooner. Maybe she got less light than the bigger plant. They were both LOW on sunlight. The last 3 weeks of the grow were non-stop rain and storms, very little sunlight. So the girls didn’t stack ‘em up like I wanted. Gotta have light to make bud!! Vegetative growth the first 8 weeks was phenomenal. It wasn’t until the rains set in that progress slowed to a crawl. They were a few feet apart and both facing the equator with daylight to dark exposure. The sun itself wouldn’t cooperate though. Both plants were fed and watered the same. Soil was the same etc.... Only used commonly available garden center nutes. Wanted to demonstrate that a person could take the leap with their first patio grow without having to invest in a lot of special grow stuff. You can! but you at least need decent sunlight. I didn’t weigh the fresh harvest very accurately. I took whole stems to hang them by, and my good scale isn’t that big. I used a bathroom scale and weighed myself holding an empty box and the box again with the harvested plant difference was about 3 lbs. Once I trimmed off the fan leaves and cut it off the roots and trunk it was under a pound. I won’t trim them super tight because very little of it will be smoked, most will be used to make infusions, but I’ll remove as much stem as possible. Curing and storing in C-vault with 62% Boveda packs.

🌱 White Widow Germination Report | The Classics Return Genetics: White Widow (Zamnesia Seeds) Series: Back to the Roots — 90s Legends Reborn Method: 11/13 from Seed | Soil | Experimental Tools Used: Cannakan, Aptus Holland (Regulator + Start Booster), Seedling Heat Mat (R.I.P) ⸻ The Genetics – A 90s Legend Revisited White Widow. Say the name, and it sends a nostalgic chill down your spine if you were around in the 90s. This is one of the true classics, a hybrid known for its frosty look and legendary high. Bred initially by Green House Seeds, and now cultivated by Zamnesia, this strain has stood the test of time. We’re not just germinating seeds here—we’re reviving memories. For germination, I used the Cannakan, a clean and easy germination chamber that allows for precision and clarity. Into it, I added plain water and labeled the laminate clearly: White Widow – Zamnesia. All three seeds germinated successfully within 48 hours, full marks to the genetics. I also added something special to the water: Aptus Holland Regulator – A silicon-based product that strengthens cell walls, improves nutrient uptake, and helps mitigate stress. Aptus Holland Start Booster – Root stimulator packed with humic acids and amino acids to kickstart enzymatic processes and early growth. Why? Because even at this stage, the foundation is everything. The right beginning sets the tone for the plant’s entire life. 🔥 The Heat Mat Incident Let’s be honest: not everything went smoothly. I used a seed heating mat from Amazon, and it turned into a bit of a disaster. I won’t be using it again. Lesson learned. The heat was inconsistent and most likely affected the balance. That batch had to go. But like a phoenix, we rose again. This time: no heating mat. Just patience, observation, and good water. 🌱 Once the seed cracked (within 48h), I gently moved them into the soil. And boom, less than 24 hours later, the first signs of life broke through the surface. She’s alive, she’s awake, and she’s already reaching for the light. Light Cycle: 11/13 From Seed – Experimental Run Here’s where it gets juicy. Instead of vegging under 18/6 or 20/4, we’re going full flower cycle from seed using a 11 hours ON / 13 hours OFF light schedule. This is my personal twist on the more common 12/12 from seed, inspired by SID and other long-flowering sativa growers. Why 11/13? Simulates tropical flowering cycles Encourages faster sexual expression Saves energy Potentially boosts resin and terp production A higher PPFD compensates for shorter light exposure This is my first time doing it, so expect raw, unfiltered feedback. For good or for bad, we’re documenting everything. This is just the beginning of a whole new Grow Series coming to YouTube. We’ll be walking through the entire process: Germination Strain reviews Nutrient choices Light strategies Daily and weekly updates Subscribe and follow the journey. It’s going to be unlike anything we’ve done before, deep dives, scientific breakdowns, personal takes. Purple Lemonade , Gelato 1&2, LAK 2&3 are all just about done theyll be coming down over the weekend or early next week. T26, Pineapple Express, Mexican Airlines, LAK 1, 6 Shooter Blue Dreamatic and Cream Cookies are all on the flush but will need a few more before chop. This tent reeks up the whole block it's pretty intense skunk in the driveway right now. There will be one more update I'm guessing for most of these before the harvest update. This was the most successful autoflower crop I've had in a long time I think theres some really good quality buds on some of these. I'll put the video up now and as I go thru the pics theyll be uploaded so if your interested come back tmm for the pics.

Just watering the soil when dry in this final week of flower. Untied all LST ties in final days of growth, also defoliating dried up and dying fan leaves. A very piney and berry aroma coming off of this plant.

It was very easy, just added water every 2 or 3 days. I like the format of this site, because everything you need to know about the plant you can find here. I must say that the plant was very tiny. It's my first time growing so I have to change some things I did. For example I think it really helps to add nutrients and have a very powerful light. Its also important to have organic pesticides because the plant attracts a lot of bugs and other insects.

I’m growing Purple Queen from Royal Queen Seeds, Citradelic Sunset & Zweet Inzanity from Ethos Genetics, and King Kong From Big Buddha Seeds. Germination happened within 24hrs on all but the Zweet Inzanity which took almost 48hrs and I planted the seeds straight into their pots. I’m using Redbud living soil with Cannaseur seed blend (Amazon find) which includes 13 different types of seeds for cover crops. Straw is being used as a top dressing/mulch. I’m growing under two Spectrum King 602GH LED lights. I have a 55gal reservoir with 2 adjustable drip emitters in each pot. I would not consider my living soil as perfect for planting at this point but I was eager to get started. I planted my seeds before fully establishing my cover crops. I have added red wigglers and nematodes. I breakdown some of this process in the video.
