Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here👍. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. From the moment she popped her head out to the start of week 4, this girl was fimmed, pruned, trained and flipped. She put out a full oz. more than the 6 week(v) mainline beside er😳. Now that is just straight amazing😎. The key advantages - BIG F$&K’N YIELDS and auto pilot care for up to 2 weeks. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. Here’s where strain, medium and method kinda collide though. This girl was on a hurry up and go schedule. We lost the first one to root rot and had to get this one off the ground and mature before the cycle sched. Was gonna flip. Not to mention it was totally screwing with our spring nursery timing too. She was fimmed once and then splayed with LST. Not much either - just enough to get er spread apart a little. So you combine ultra fast growth rates of hydro with a big yield strain like this on a fast paced training method that limits required recovery times... and you get this monster. Just a perfect grow that anyone would be extremely happy with. We used frozen water bottles In the res. twice a day throughout the grow. My issues with light leaks and temps are well documented and I’m constantly running up against one or the other as a hurdle. This plant was no different and she started to re-veg. In the last few days prior to chop. All due to a light leak from the cabinet beside this one that was running on an 18/6. Gonna have to plug some light holes prior to next grow. Other than that - she was amazing and the method here is getting an unusually high and very rare 5/5.😳 Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 The final number is just so sweet. 6.04oz and she veg’d less than a month. Overall, I could confidently say that’s both faster and better than most typical autos in general😳😎👍👌. Any time your rock’n out 5+oz is a good haul but in this kinda time frame - that’s just crazy. We let her go just a little longer (again, as per Spliff’s direction) and it was worth the extra patience. She’s dense as all hell and a nice add to the stash🤟. Thanks for checking in & happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱 Day 23 - Everything seems to be going ok can’t see any issues other than the one plant with spots on the leaves but that is from spilling nutrient water on them! Day 24 - started LST on 1 Orange Sherbet & 1 White Widow to compare the differences at harvest! Day 25 - they are looking great! Can’t wait to see how the buds look😍✌️🏼 Day 26 - stretching out a lot! Day 27 - Last day of week 4 everything is going great!✌️🏼🌱

The 7th week started. Based on the Breeder's description it is supposed to be the final week for The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe so it should be ready to harvest. It is my first grow but I can say it needs a minimum of 2 weeks to be ready. I think 10 weeks at least. I have checked another diary with the same strain and it took 10-12 weeks to be finished. I placed the Purple Punch 38 hours Darkness so from now I will give 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light schedule to start flowering. They are in the same tent so I take out in the morning to be in darkness, and put back at night. I did reset the timers. Water: 125 ml 2x daily each plant so altogether 250ml a day for 2 plants. I raise up every week with 50 ml a week per plant. Fertilization the same amount of water the same acacia honey around 2 big spoons and bat guano 1 teaspoon per 1-liter water and I fertilize it 3 times a week every second day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, plus one-half day like on Saturday once. So from today (Thursday), I started forcing the feminized strain Purple Punch to flower also after 45 days from germination. This week not too much things to say. The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe stopped growing just added an extra 5 cm to its height. Hopefully it focuses on the bigger buds creation. Purple Punch grew an extra 2 cm. End of the week Purple Punch is 37 cm, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 70cm.

This cultivation I lost a little bit the size that could reach . 😓 The light stayed too much close of the plant .

Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

Well finally by day 80 the heavy rain is over and we are looking at afternoon showers, but sunny hot and humid until then. Well, relatively humid. About to finally get in there and tying some branches and picking little sucker branches that I don’t want. Branches appear as suckers to me when they’re more than likely located lower on the plant or at the interior in a way where it would grow with less light or grow inside the plant and congest the airflow, again with less light. I fed her a 2 Gallon Heavy Feeder mix. It will be watered in with tsp water that is 156 PPM @ pH of 8.5. Normally ALL waterings are done with an incredible amount of water from the garden hose that is from a well. I intend to feed with soil amendments and top dressings, however localized feeds or things like worm castings tea is coming up. I also foliar fed her one evening with phosphates, and the fulvex which is basically magnesium and fulvic acid with a yucca wetting agent. I want to help her to spread those roots! I know it sounds like a lot of molasses. But I’ve never had issues with large doses in these situations outdoors. The plants and microbes go bonkers for the stuff! Also that feed water went in strong but as it was watered in with the regular water, it diluted the tds quite a bit. Literally the following day, I am noticing what looks like more than preflowers. Is she really starting to flower an entire month early?! Last week er so, we had those 4 days of really cold, dark, rainy weather, that came after some nasty hot and super dry weather. Multiple plants have begun to flower on me! I suppose there is no problem getting an early start with things. But not this! I don’t want to go back and forth! She can be in vegetative stage and grow bigger and spread her roots. Grow and prepare for flowering stage. Then go into flowering stage and STAY in flowering, 100%. Not something crazy like: stop veg(preparing for flower) and just flower out with what was developed, then 2 weeks later realize it was too early and go back to Veg, only to jump right back into flower! I don’t want some kinda of chaotic misdirection of energy, for most likely some weird results. But we shall see. All I can say is, if she is going to flower, then flower hard! Don’t turn back.

The girls recovered the same day as the topping last week. They have more than doubled in height and gain nodes quickly. Accidentally was giving wrong dose of nutes last week and corrected it this week. These strains are very hardy so far

Lots and lots of tops. Spider mites, I sprayed everything in the greenhouse.

These have been put through hell. With the makeshift tent door really struggled with conditions especially humidity which has been around 68% which is miles to high. Unbelievably no sign of mold and they’re definately frosty and smelling the part. Yield will be well down but so glad I didn’t pull the plug on them.

Flowering slowly, likely due to the roots having low PH(4-5).. I flushed her a few weeks back.. I'm done experimenting with nutrients for now; I had better results, with less issues with just using the basics. *Special Nug picture - This Bud-site has a different shape/structure compared to every other nug on this plant.. Never seen this before, on any other strain.

Yo lo hago solo por deporte, no porque lo fume. mantuve el ph en condiciones estables a como dictan los científicos en este rubro. la próxima😁 semana corto las plantas y las pongo a secar.

The plants needs every day around 2 x 12 l osmo water with 2 x 0,9 ml / l TA NovaMax Bloom. And its going to be crazy ass massive jugle with a lot of pre flowers ! Looks Sweet, smells crazy sour, i put in a box odor neutralizer cause its so fkn sour the whole house even with carbon filter.

I believe this is around week 10 I haven’t been keep up with the time frame..

06/02/2020 Gonna feed them today 1tbls of blood meal. I snapped a branch on #2 (see video) her stems, I don't like break to easy so I will give some micro nutrients to help stems from breaking. Unless she is the HOLY GRAIL. I will cull her clone. All others handed super cropping well. 🙏 #4 in hydro is in it's own diary called Small Batch Seed making some F1 #1 showed her sex today, clones well took cut on 05/20/2020 is rooting well outside in coco coir, in humidity dome just cut and scrape the stem,once rooted I cut off yellowing leaves i hope her smoke is as good as she looks. 5 days into week 10 and #2, and #4 are male so indoors they go for pollen collection. Will dust one bud of each female with each male and hunt for what I want. Also see what each passes on in the cross.
