Some mild defoliation this week. Budding up nicely and starting to frost. This girl was having a foliar feed of algae last week but this week she's getting light foliar sprays of the Lacalva stress treatment from madame grow on top of her other feed. I'll do this every 2/3 mornings and I'll only lightly mist the top. I'll concentrate most of my foliar feed on the lower growth and undersides, away from the buds. This is the main reason I kept so many lower fan leaves this time.

10/17/24 Short facts: - Continued with LST - Watered: 1 x 1.2L, 1 x 0.3L - VPD @ 0.9 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 50% ~580 - 620 PPFD - Removed 5 leaves --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As promised last week, i made a video and explained the progress so far, and did show you the plant. Not much to report. I continued LST, though I’ve stopped for a few days now since the branches are well spread out, and that should be enough for the time being. The AvT was in Preflower since last week and switched to flower on day 28. Really good plant. No problems at all.

I've given triacontanol a whirl I don't have a control to compare to and I've gone from coco to dwc but there is a shitload of tops emerging , its paste I've used at a rate of 1g to 20l of feed I've only hit her with it twice once in veg and just in wk 1 of flower it does make the feed frothy but not to a problematic point from what little info I've found less is more with it I've backed right off with part a and upped part b of the hydrocrop and next feed is pk am aiming for 1gpw if I manage that il be 😊

Girls are stretching so are basically transitioning into flower. Still healthy and impressed at the growth rate. Last foliar feeds given as pistils will start developing. Stay tuned

Started off week 2 of flowering on 11/19. All of the ladies look good with the Tangerine Dream being the only set of clones to start showing bud sights and not just pre-flowering. Did a significant amount of clipping and clipped most of the fan leaves on the main colas of my ladies and side branches too. I also began playing classical music for them! True to it’s genetics my Tangerine Dreams are putting off numerous side branches with side branches coming off those branches! Since flowering my Cotton Candy has grown the most. Before flowering it was just barely half the height of my TDs and now they’re taller! As for the Chronic Thunder it’s always been the tallest but in flowering it’s focus has all been on the side branches without me even topping it.

Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨

This was the first run of a FastBuds strain and I appeared to have picked a strain that works well with my grow style. She had nice wide indica leaves at the start of her growth and by two weeks over the sides of the pot. 3 gal seems to be a good pot size given her life span and her size. She flipped to flower as expected in week 4. From there she steadily gained weight in flower and was a struggle to keep her tied down with LST. Removing the lower bud sites on the side branches would also have helped to fill in her top colas so don’t be worried that she won’t fill in and you talk yourself into leaving them......cut them off😃👍She sets into a nice yellow fade on the leaves and the edges take on a purple colour. Add in red and orange hairs with everything covered in trichomes and she is a beautiful girl🤩🤩 Flush was over two weeks so expect a smooth smoke 🤞 Will follow up with more as she progresses through drying. In the box with temp at 62 to 66 degrees and humidity at 60%. Branches are not that long so I am expecting dry should be around 7 to 10 days. *******Updated Mar 7/20********* Dry went okay and she was in there for 9 day dry, Feb 25 to Mar 5th. Will be waiting until she has roughly a three week cure before I sample anymore. Did a little for not just to test her out. Further notes from dry and trim........ Should have fed her another week for increased density. Smoke is smooth so far, I don’t mind sacrificing weight for smooth smoke but not sure it was a needed trade off with this girl. Find out next run of her, which will be very soon😀👍 Her high is nice and strong. Not much sampled so far........rather say more to come in a few weeks......sweet and impressive so far!!!! Again a real pleasure to grow and I see more opportunity to do better with this girl😃 Very excited to go again and will definitely be in the next auto run again. Love how she grew and looked! Already ordered more FastBuds genetics and will see Girl Scout Cookies with another Zkittlez for sure!!! Well, week 9 of flower in the books and she is done as of this posting on 5/19 (day 63). She finished up well and the trichome development has nice mix of milky with a little amber. She's is extremely frosty and gives off a super strong smell of fruity goodness. She'll be cut down today, so stay tuned for the subsequent harvest report and pics. All in all, first time DWC bucket grow went well, in my estimation. It's a lot of work, but the results speak for themselves. I learned a lot with respect to monitoring ph, ppm, and ppfd readings, as well as reading my plant for visual cues. I eventually understood I needed daily readings b/c growing hydro conditions can change on a dime, especially for someone new to this growing method. But once I found my stride, the process became easier. Another lesson learned was how much space is needed for vegetative and flower stretch. I literally had to move the buckets from the original 2x4 tent to the larger 3x3. And that is where she finished up. First time growing using Ethos seeds, which

First set of leaves were a bit light and what appears as some decent tip burn? Bucket was running hot on week two, but left it alone. She’s happy now that she’s starting to get the munchies. Most of the growth is looking decent. I’m going to top above the fourth node, and take the lower branches leaving 6 main branches to train. She’s topped but it looks like I will end up with 8 branches to play with. I may remove the bottom two?

Watching trichomes closely and using plain water over the past week. The largest of the two plants stopped responding much to watering and became resplendent with milky plus amber trichomes as the leaves faded and purpled up. On 2-15 I chose to harvest her. I weighed out 3.4 oz of untrimmed wet bud on 2-16, as I plan to dry trim. Second plant harvested 2-18. I will put up a harvest report when both plants are harvested. The smaller plant is approximately a week behind. I’m pleased with the yield but I really have no experience to know how these dense meaty buds will weigh out when dried. I have only removed the most easily plucked sugar leaves to facilitate drying and later trim. I have taken two medium sized riper buds from this plant over the past two weeks to dry and sample. I have only tried the first one and will say that the buzz was potent, delightful with a very sweet delicious flavor despite being uncured and grassy. ***** Currently the scent is an almost artificial vanilla, sugar and chocolate. ****** Compared to my bagseed and my one previous grow, these plants have been resilient against transplant stress, heat, pests, and pmd. My only concern was the appearance of a ball, which I plucked off and had not since observed more of them. Unlike the smaller plant that has one large cola with many heavy but smaller ones, the larger one sported many larger colas. ****** For my next grow I would like to add more light or switch up to COBs move into a larger space, be it a tent or a diy grow room, augment my soil with coco as well as perlite, if not switch mediums entirely, be more gentle with transplant and add enzymes and bloom boosters to my supplements. ****** I know this was a long grow.
