Further progress has been made in my cannabis cultivation journey. I've been meticulously working on spreading the canopy over the entire surface of the tent, ensuring each plant gets equal light exposure. The aim is to create an environment that allows for optimal growth and an abundant yield. Later today, I plan to install a net. The net will provide support to the plants as they grow taller and heavier, especially as they enter the flowering phase. It will also help maintain the even spread of the canopy, ensuring that light penetration is maximized across all plants. In about a week, I will be shifting gears by switching the light schedule to a 12/12 cycle - marking the transition from the vegetative phase to the flowering phase. Concurrently, I will also start administering bloom nutrients. This tailored diet will provide the plants with the essential elements they need to produce bountiful, high-quality flowers. A noticeable change that has been happening recently is the increasing intensity of the aroma emanating from the plants. The scent of cannabis is becoming more and more pronounced, serving as a reminder of the transformative journey these plants are going through and the lush buds they will soon produce.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. In den letzten ein bis zwei Wochen hat sich unsere Pflanze weiterhin prächtig entwickelt und zeigt nun deutliche Anzeichen einer fortgeschrittenen Blütephase. Es gab keine dramatischen Veränderungen, sondern eine stetige Reifung, die uns dem Erntezeitpunkt näherbringt. Die Pflanze präsentiert sich sehr buschig und vital, mit zahlreichen dichten Blütenständen, die sich gut ausgebildet haben (siehe Gesamtansicht der Pflanze). Die Buds sind kompakt und haben in den letzten Wochen an Volumen und Gewicht zugelegt. Man kann deutlich sehen, wie die Blütenkelche anschwellen und sich zu reifen Blütenständen formen. Trichom- und Stigmen-Reife: Ein genauerer Blick auf die Buds (wie im ersten Nahaufnahme-Bild der Trichome und im weiteren Nahaufnahme-Bild der Buds mit orangenen Stigmen ersichtlich) zeigt den Fortschritt der Reifung. Die weißen, harzigen Trichome bedecken die Blütenstände in Hülle und Fülle, was auf eine intensive Produktion von Cannabinoiden hinweist. Bei den Trichomen ist nun eine gute Mischung aus milchig-trüben Köpfen zu erkennen, die auf die volle Potenz hindeuten. Erste bernsteinfarbene Trichome beginnen ebenfalls aufzutreten, was ein Zeichen dafür ist, dass der Erntezeitpunkt bevorsteht. Parallel dazu haben sich die Stigmen (die feinen Härchen auf den Buds) von Weiß zu einem satten Orange-Braun verfärbt. Dies ist ein weiteres starkes Indiz für die Reife der Blüten und die nahende Ernte. Blattwerk und Nährstoffbedarf: Das Blattwerk der Pflanze ist größtenteils weiterhin gesund und grün, was auf eine gute Nährstoffversorgung schließen lässt. Einige der größeren Fächerblätter können in dieser späten Blütephase leichte Anzeichen von Vergilbung zeigen, da die Pflanze ihre Energie nun primär in die Blütenentwicklung steckt und Nährstoffe aus den Blättern zieht. Dies ist ein natürlicher Prozess, der oft als "Herbstfärbung" bezeichnet wird. Wir werden die Reifung der Trichome weiterhin genauestens beobachten, um den optimalen Erntezeitpunkt zu bestimmen, der je nach gewünschtem Effekt variieren kann. Had to remove tables from the tent and lift trellis. allowed plants to stand up. defol and lollipopping throughout the week. the reports are all messed up and i have been sort of busy so im just going to photo dump and ill leave it to the viewer to work out whats what from what days. I think stretch is over now but its been a constant battle to keep them away from the lights. this is weeks 3 and a bit of 4.

they are all growing great and starting to get taller. a very robust plant and very easy to grow and maintain. they are getiing 1/2 the recommeneded dose of nutrients 3 times a week

Day 1- watered Day 2- 😴 Day 3- 😴 Day 4- I need to feed tent 1 tomorrow. Gonna up the nutes from last week since they dont seem to be getting caught up. Can see 1st signs of flowering so I'm gonna experiment a bit with additives and see if I can see a noticeable winner or possibly no difference at all. Day 5- Fed tent#1 14ml advanced trio, 1ml floralicous +, .6ml mammoth p. 1/8tsp flower fuel per/gal. Tent#2 got 2.5ml armor si, 5ml tiger bloom, .6ml mammoth p/gal. Pulled each plant out and cleaned up the bottoms and middles, washed trays and gave a very light dusting diatomaceous earth on underside of leaves. Hoping that will keep any spider mites that think fucking with me again this year will be fun, dead as shit and disappointed. Got a bunch of cuts for clones now too. That's gonna be tomorrow me's problem though lol. Day 6- 🚫 Day 7- well I'll be a son of a bitch...guess what I found? Spider mites. Got to try out my new eradication method I thought up months ago using diatomaceous earth and an air compressor. (Almost a week later and I cant find a mite anywhere 😁) STEP 1- Turn off your carbon filter so u dont plug it up then dust the hell out of everything with diatomaceous earth. I wanted it to look like a thick fog and let the fans blow it all around. I'd go fog it back up every 10-15 minutes for an hr or so. STEP 2- Starting with the worst, pull each plant out of the tent and blow off with 60psi (4bar) compressed air(see video) STEP 3- Inspect the plant and blow off any mites u find with the air gun. I used a LED flashlight to make it easy to see them. STEP 4- After the plant appears mite free give another dusting of diatomaceous earth.(see video) STEP 5- clean tent. Vacuum up all the DE and blow dust out of lights. STEP 6- Put plants back in the tent and start your carbon filter if u have 1. In theory this should take care of current mites and any eggs that hatch. Check daily and repeat steps 2-4 as necessary.

Start of week 7. I think I will just feed water this week. I have lots of nutes still in the soil and leaves. They wont get much water this week maybe 1 or 2 flushes. Next week I wanted to experiment with light deprivation, as well as crank my A/C as high as possible. May even split one of the stems to see if it makes a difference. 12/12/18 Everything looking good. No problems, the ladies as super frosty and the smell is intense. Impatience is starting to kick it. So tempted to take a tester bud. But that's a waste.

week intel: its time to harvest top buds! because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. its crucial to get uniformed buds in terms of quality that you let the lower buds to get some extra air and especially light! then the pop corn buds quality will reach the top buds. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.
