Week 8! I've seen some challenges leading up to this point so far, with Plant #2 showing the results of what insanely high EC levels can do and how important it can be to know what's going in to the soil and what's coming out. Luckily, things seem to be straightening out and both plants are putting on bud weight. Day 50: - did some very light defoliation, removing a few fan leaves that were blocking bud sites on both plants. - the smell is starting to get much stronger than it was last week. Day 51: - watered with a 310ppm nutrient solution, using 3ml of Remo's Bloom nutrients + GH's CaliMagic per gallon of dechlorinated (by aeration) tap water. Day 52: - nothing to report Day 53: - tent temperatures reached a bit higher than normal due to warmer outside temperatures. 80F instead of 78F, for approximately 8hrs. Day 54: - Plant #2 has an extremely sweet smell, sort of like grape. - Plant #1 is smells similar but not quite as sweet and not quite as much grape. Day 55: - Probably should have watered today but we're leaving it one more day. Day 56: - watered with plain, dechlorinated (by aeration) tap water. - used small amount of bloom nutrients to adjust pH from 7.1 to 6.4, resulting in a weak 55ppm nutrient solution. - watered to runoff (maybe 10%). - Plant #2 runoff testing at 6.3 pH and 1850ppm, which is higher than we expected. - did some light foliage trimming, mostly on plant #2, to remove dead and mostly-dead leaves.

Week 3 flowering

Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Bubble og I still have 4 of these guys going. A few of them are still dark green and pretty decent growers they have thiner leaves. I'm sure a few of these will be on the chopping block later down a few of them just have crappy start growth and they need the humidity at 75% or above 100% the time with the light lower than normal or they start to shrivel up. That's not all of them just a couple. Also I am only going to flower 8 plants out if the 12 seedling and I have 5 strains going so can't have half my plants bubble og (wish I had room to grow the full 12 plants at a time) It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

12 semanas de floración y la planta sigue engordando los cogollos, que son enormes y muy densos, la planta conserva muchas hojas todavía y el consumo de agua sigue alto y estable, creo que al menos le quedan dos semanas más de cultivo, lo cierto, que aun a pesar del largo tiempo de cultivo de esta cepa, primero bloqueada por más de 4 semanas en el crecimiento vegetativo y ahora con esta larga floración, propia de sativas en exterior, está mereciendo mucho el cultivarla. De todos modos observo que todos mis cultivos se alargan mucho con respecto a las observaciones de los productores, yo creo que la nutrición variada y la salud de las raíces son cruciales en este aspecto. Por ahora muy satisfecho con el cultivo, la planta está respondiendo muy bien a los nutrientes y deja ver crecimiento en las colas día a día... puedo decir que en estos momentos es la planta dominante de entre todos mis cultivos, espero una cosecha de primera. Los rastros de insectos han desaparecido, las hojas grandes amarillean a un ritmo pausado... todo normal!! Seems like she's taking longer, think this might be because I used my phone flashlight to check on her during dark in the first weeks flower. Not too bothered by this as it means she might get a little fatter :) Some slight purple discoloration beginning to show from the cold night temps

Our Zamnesia Slurricane has reached 16 buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they'll go into flowering. She's a plant with a low internodal distance, they're not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but you just need to let them grow a little and not go into flowering straight away to get an excellent result anyway. As a general rule but very general plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of the techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance which are very easy to handle, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent dimensions even if worked with techniques that keep them low. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but it was about to go into crisis, so we're starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below. The ideal when topping is probably to start with a soil fertilized with gradual release or to start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing.
