Good week. Lots of rain, OG shot up 6" to a whopping 68". Everybody happy and well hydrated. I used to have a perspective on how big these will get but now I have no idea whatsoever, lol. I know they'll fill out during flower but will they just keep going up indefinitely? Thanks for looking Happy Growing!

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. KL 08.00. The girls woke up after their beauty sleep, the leaves are always a bit down after 6 h of darkness, but they will stretch now when the HPS lamp starts. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test. Amazing plant! Lovely terms even in 12/12! Before the Heatwave blasted Germany I decided to cut her and hang, next week I'll post harvest results

Today (Mon. 17. June) she is 11 weeks old, and still barely showing any signs of aging. Some buds have more orange pistils, other less, but the majority of buds just grew a little bit fatter, without much visual difference otherwise. Maybe a bit more frosty. I think the flowers still look much to young, to start checking trichomes (please comment if you think otherwise), but lets see what happens till the end of the week. Her fragrance is more fruity now. Still not a very strong smell. Not that we need to worry about this too much in Germany anymore, but we also don't want to piss off the neighbors with pungant smell. But so far that is not really an issue.

Our Rainbow Sherbet has started to flower, the main lining here worked really well. Unlike the other plants I cut at the second internode to create the mainfold. This is a smart choice because autoflowering plants flower more or less at the 5th / 6th internode, if you have to do topping it is better to start as soon as possible to delay flowering as much as possible. Another reason for topping / mainfold at the second internode is that the plant is lower and you can work the mini brunches much better. In fact here we managed to create a T-minlining. In the sense that the mini brunches form a perfect 90 degree T with the main stem which is not easy at all. To do this you have to use the arches with the wire it is much more complicated and the cut at the second internode helps a lot. So topping at the second internode, mainfold and then continue for another three internodes and topping again. You can decide to cut something along the way I left perhaps too much stuff here. However, for better or worse, everything that can see a fair amount of light enough to flower well is left. The plant is a specimen with a medium internodal distance and I managed to work it reasonably well. We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start card that maintains the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer now is Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a little swollen, do not start immediately. - LST continues by stretching the plant outwards. - Both plants are progressing healthy. Kings Kush is cathing up. - Soft Defoliation continues. I am trying to remove fan leaves shadowing potential bud sides. But still leaving outskirt fan leaves. A big defoliation and lollipopping will be applied in 3rd week. - Light intensity is still at 90% which is still resilting with increased temp. - VPD still fluctuated this week between 1.0 and 1.7 kPa , averaging at 1,27 kPa. - Temperature is stabilized at 22 at night and 27 Celsius at day time, averaging at 25.2. A little lower than last week due to cold weather in Berlin. But the plan is to run the growth 1 more week with higher Temps around 27 Celcius. 2nd week of flowering, I will increase exhaustion fan speed which will hopefully decrease both temp and humidity. - Humidity is stabilized between 50-70%, averaging at 60.4%. This week, I have added a BonAura AirOne dehumidifier into my tent. It collects around 200 ml of water per day. - Increased the water Ph gradually to 6.6 now as Soil Ph is decreasing week on week under 6. I will keep measuring and I might increase water Ph further if necessary.

🌱 Nectar Drip Update Week 8 from Seed · Week 2 Flower (12/12 from seed) Quick recap for anyone joining us now: This run is a 12/12 from seed experiment, meaning each plant chose on its own when to enter flower. Because of that, flower timing is not perfectly synchronized — and that’s an important part of this grow and of the decisions we’re making. We’re working with an exclusive collaborative genetic pack, not commercially available anymore, bred for stability, vigor, and resilience. What you see here is a real-world expression of those genetics, grown without chasing trends or hype — just observation, patience, and consistency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding (Why We Changed Nothing) This week, we deliberately changed nothing. • Day temperature: ~28 °C • Relative Humidity: ~65% • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm • Lighting: LED Many growers would say these temperatures are “too high for flower,” but context matters. Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature typically runs 2–4 °C cooler than room temperature. Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD. The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall. We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. The plants are responding perfectly: • Lush, deep green foliage • No signs of stress • Strong internodal structure • Uniform uptake across different phenotypes When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment. That’s why the nutrient recipe stayed exactly the same. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way This week marked an important decision. Normally, defoliation would happen around day 21 of flower. But in a 12/12-from-seed run, there is no universal day 21. Each plant entered flower on its own schedule. The room was getting dense. Airflow was being restricted. Light penetration was becoming uneven. So we listened to the plants — not the calendar. We opened the canopy, improved airflow, and allowed the plants to: • Breathe better • Receive more uniform light • Push growth upward instead of inward We’ll be honest: 👉 We went harder than planned. But it was a conscious decision, not an emotional one. Leaves removed were healthy — not sick — which tells us the plant had energy to spare. The remaining structure is strong, clean, and well-shaped. ⸻ 🛠️ Training & Recovery • Structural branches previously damaged were taped last week • All repaired nodes bounced back perfectly • Plastic clips are still being used dynamically — on and off — to guide shape, not force it This tells us everything we need to know about the genetics: stable, resilient, forgiving, and strong. ⸻ 🔮 What We Expect Next After a hard defoliation, plants tell the truth quickly. Endlich sind die gewünschten sommerlichen Tage mit teils 35° C. eingetreten mit Hitze tagsüber und Gewittern nachts oder in den frühen Morgenstunden. Dementsprechend benötigt die Rainbow Road wesentlich mehr Wasser. Die Flüssigdüngung erfolgt jedoch nur einmalig täglich, das restliche Wasser nach Bedarf. Nur eimalig täglich in die große Töpfe zu gießen genügt nicht bei der Hitze und der Verdunstung. Das heiße, sommerliche Wetter soll noch die kommende Woche anhalten, auch wieder mit Temperaturen bis zu 35° C. Nicht nur die Planzen brauchen jetzt mehr Flüssigkeit, auch der Grower trinkt und trinkt... Die Rainbow Road nimmt es bisher gelassen und erträgt das Wetter sehr gut. Sie hat in dieser Woche das zweite Topping erhalten, aus dem sie schon herauswächst und ist im Vergleich zur letzten Woche 25 cm gewachsen. Vielen Dank für euren Besuch und achtet auf genug Flüssigkeit für euch und die Pflanzen! --- At last, the long-awaited summer days have arrived, with temperatures reaching 35°C at times, bringing heat during the day and thunderstorms at night or in the early hours of the morning. Consequently, Rainbow Road needs considerably more water. However, liquid fertiliser is applied only once a day; the rest of the water is given as required. Watering the large pots just once a day isn’t enough given the heat and evaporation. The hot, summery weather is set to continue into next week, again with temperatures reaching up to 35°C. It’s not just the plants that need more water now; the grower is drinking and drinking too... Rainbow Road has taken it in her stride so far and is coping very well with the weather. She’s had her second topping this week – she’s already outgrowing it – and has grown 25 cm compared to last week. So in my attemp to germinate Apple Fritter I had 5 seeds 4 light colored 1 dark. First 2 were light colored, and did not germinate in water. I placed them in a seperate potter. If they grow I will replant them. The dark colored seed did sprout a tail, and was dropped into the rock wool today. Should have a sprout in 2 to 3 days 🤞. I think they have finished stretching as their starting to produce bud sites, so hopefully they stay around this size as it’s the sweet spot for me, not too small but not huge trees, their still just under 1m tall.
