I love how everything has came along so quickly. Absolutely love going Organic with compost tea brewing at home and molasses. Using Neem for pests and mold. Absolutely loving the results so far. Using a California Lightworks SolarSystem 550 with view mode, custom spectrums, program a whole season..... etc. I hate the measuring system for nutes on here. Im all organic so using compost tea I mix about 1/4 to the rest water and water in plants ev other watering.

Hi @Organijuana! You're doing great, your grow space is beautiful, you must be a well organized person! Here are a few thoughts after reading your diary: 1/ I hope you have more space available than what wee see on your last two pictures, be warned you're going to have a jungle, and over-crowded grow rooms are not a good thing, plants tend to cannibalize themselves, apical summits will 'fight' to access to light & fresh air, and as a result, some plants will stretch a lot while others will be left in the shadow and will remain short/small. 2/ your pH is a bit high, almost neutral, but you want it a bit acidic in soilless medium so try to stick to a 5.3~5.8 pH range. 3/ are these really 1gal containers? They look bigger. Anyway, 1gal is fine for the 2 first weeks, but soon you will see roots coming through the bottom of the container, this will be a sign that your babies need to be transplanted in bigger containers. I like to repot my photosynthesis-strains 3 times, start them in a tiny container so the roots can almost get rootbound, transplant them after 2-3 weeks of veg in a medium-sized container to trigger root explosion, then transplant them right before flowering in a big container. This makes the roots spread like crazy. 4/ Try to anticipate your veg/flo schedule, think of how much available height you have and how this strain reacts to the stretch phase, if you wait for too long you might encounter space/height issues. 5/ Don't over-think it, you're doing absolutely fine, and there are many growers to help you in here. You seem to have understood that sometimes, "less is more". I'm confident your run will be successful and rewarded with a great yield. Keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

Hi, in such a short growing period and growing organic it will be enough giving her a nice shower before you harvest. You can also feed the microoranisms in the soil with some added blackstrap-molasses. Happy growing until then

👋hello from New England Good question and nice plants! I believe we let our plants yellow out to smooth out the smoke. I read that Nitrogen supply's chlorophyll production. Chlorophyll in plant matter that is being smoked results in harsh taste and less enjoyable burning experience. So any processes to help alleviate that (flushing and curing especially) will be rewarding to the end user/ consumer. 👍 Now that being said the good news is the more you grow a strain the more you can tell when the right time is. As mentioned above Cannabis plants have a few ways of showing maturity/ripesness. The leaves, trichomes, pistils all physically express a plants maturity. Usually a Keen eye and an attention for detail you should be able to utilize these color-changing properties of your plants as a solid good indicator for timing. Lastly and personally I have found tapering off earlier, rather than later, ends up being a more enjoyable smoke 😁

You can visually guesstimate on the color of the pistils and get some objective data to help achieve in determining when you should take it down, which is the older the plants get the more orange-ish color pistils get. HOWEVER, you can’t 100% determine the age by looking only the pistils. You need to look at TRICHOMES. if you have a jewelers loupe or a portable microscope, you can observe 3 different colors of trichomes. 1) clear, transparent (which is still premature), 2) milky, shady (harvest time, THC potency is at its highest), 3) amber (getting old and older, THC degrading; more CBD). Many will recommend to get harvest when you have about 20-30% milky trichomes. If your trichomes are all milky, perfect. Some people like the body effect from CBD, Which in this case, you will have to wait until milky trichomes become amber). It really is personal preference.

@Mrs_Larimar, Yes maam! Ambition is above and beyond but ambition wont cut it in this business. The logistics are insane. No one can do it alone and R&D has to be on top of theyre shit to atay afloat in this flooded market but were hopeful. As our family has a lot invested already in this state into various companies.

hey kinda depends on strains but basically trychomes take around 2 weeks to ripen, so when you have few clear trychomes left, it's a good time to start the 1-2 week flush. Only way to tell is to check with a 70x microscope to see if they're clear or cloudy , you can't see them even with 30x , but you can get really cheap ones for less than a few dollars. Hope this helps you lock in that timing and max out your potency ! 🚀

@Organijuana, you won t need the light but yeah 60 works the bare minimum is 40x but 60 is great... you'll discover a whole new microscopic world it's jokes

@Aldanil, Thanks for explaining! Your both correct in a sense. Its only to be used in emergencies but works great. Not a everyday thing I hear.

@SlimJamie, as far as I can tell, the lights are green. And as far as I know, when you need/have to work on your girls whilst they are sleeping you can use green light. Look at this from growweedeasy.com: "Neat fact! Although your plant can respond to green light in some ways, it can’t “see” green when it comes to photoperiods and knowing when it’s day or night. So you can actually use green light to look at your plants in the dark and it won’t interrupt their dark period at all!". I haven't tried this yet. Just make sure no other light (red, blue, etc.) enters your grow environment when you are working on your gilrs or the room while they are sleeping.

My family and I have been for years now through a very difficult time health wise. We have come to learn and understand that everything happens for a reason, even if at the moment we don't know what reason that might be. I have learned to trust that, trust my heart and my instincts. Here is me sending you lots of love and 420 vibes full of strength and positive energy!
