What's up Growmies 🤟🏽 Welcome back to another week #11 overall and #3 flowering. She is doing well and continue to stack on buds, I continue to fed her the same schedule and dosage of nutes, it seems to be working well. A bit frustrated that I don’t see flowers yet :( I defoliated quite a bunch of leaves that were taking all the space (see pictures). I hope flowers will appear soon after it!

Another week down few more to go can't wait!! First ever attempt of growing my own so really impatient to see the final results now and get to the finish line, that said all has went well upto now other than the size they reached haha, really started putting on weight now it seems and they smell lovely, excited to see the buds fatten and progress over these last few weeks up until harvest now, started 5 liberty haze also they are just coming upto 3 weeks now so check that diary out to, any comments info tips for the final stages appreciated

Day 70 Well I think I will give them another week and harvest.Showing lots of trichomes that are mostly cloudy so I’ll let them go a bit longer.The tallest girl is at 40 inches and suffered some fox tailing I’m gonna say from when I pounded them with light for a week or so 😆.Even though she fox tailed and will not have the most dense buds she smells super strong and loaded with trichomes.Of the 5 Runtz the shortest has the chunkiest most dense buds.The other 3 were very big producers and took the LST great branching out forming tons of colas.Ill try to let them dry out this week and place in the dark for a day or so before chopping.Unfortunately in my area we have heavy rains all week humidity may become a problem so I will add a dehumidifier soon.

This is the third LA Kush Cake from @zam.nesia that I've harvested, and I'd love to grow at least 1,000 more. It's truly beautiful in terms of color; during the fade, this one revealed a purple and yellow that blend together in a truly romantic way. Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 😎 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! Hy huys That's the sixth week after the germination... I think next week I will change the light schedule and I'll start the 12/12

Everything going great, not to much to report this. Plenty of new bud sites, and some very beautiful tops. Added in just a few inches of fresh fox farms soil to keep roots covered. They feel as they finally stopped stretching so much, so I'm feeling alot better about my taller girls getting too tall.

The growth was delayed 5 days, I think it was due to the lack of ca-mg, but they are already 100% recovered to give some good flowers, give them love 💚

I will be careful every time I encounter an insect problem and use an insecticide, I will eventually get rid of it with a water care method

The light I had wasn’t strong enough but it worked. Definitely am happy I upgraded to a 720 watt light.

Starting to see some purple on some of the leaves and I smell them every time I open up the tent . Just giving them regular ph water now and waiting for the harvest. Older leaves are also fading yellow .

Right so basically, a week ago today marked a month for these ladies and because I had a broken phone it was very hard to keep up to date with the journal but hopefully now I can keep on top of this grow for you guys. It's been 35 days since germination for the Rhino Ryder and Afghan Kush. I'm using soil from the back garden and now that there is a bit of foliage, with the watering etc. The humidity has risen to a level I'm not happy with to which I'm going to invest in a portable dehumidifier to bring down the moisture in the air. I had to defoliate as it was getting really bushy and the fan was struggling to get air through the fan leaves. I cannot believe the RR, started off as the most finicky plant from germination and now it's the tallest f***er of the 4. She has shot up! I looked at the yellow tips on the leaves and apparently it's a lack of Iron. I read that Iron deficiency can be left to work itself out typically if it's not severe. Usually after a few days after the leaves are left to expand the yellow disappears and they turn a nice fresh green colour. The smell in here is fantastic! Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

Day 50. Girls are flying and packing up. Tallest Kush was slaughtered as Christmas flowers ;)) 5 Colas had to go .. And she was chopped today after 48 hours of darkness and cold. Two other girls left till end of week 9 at least . Tallest had still mostly clear trics , so it was too early, at least a week too early for any kind of result, but her overall look led me to idea of following timetable, F1- matures in 7 weeks. I think ill easy have 140 from two others, but this one suffered from - drums !!! More drums !!! - looks like SULPHUR deficiency, aftermath of unknow/untried molasses. Root zone was healthy, plant took most of space and i am sure you don't need lair of airstones in airpot. No more food. Just phed water. Day 53. Girls just finishing deal in glory, slowly bulk up, trichs coverage is not so bad as well... Overall i will be happy with those 2. If starved properly, looks like they will bring some colours too. Two more weeks of only water for them. Defoliated both plants a bit, most faded or covering other big buds - gone. Video shows result. Tied up couple more branches ... They are getting heavier !!!
