Very easy strain to grow. I grew the White Critical Express previous to this grow, I really liked it and wanted to try growing an Autoflower so I went for the Critical 2.0 and it was worth the grow.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Love the smell to the touch on this girl smells so fruity and sweet at the moment and has so many bud sites like her sister north thunderfuck only 2 I’m doing with rqs organic nutrients and boosters! I tend to have to feed them less especially this one what’s potted in an 11L rqs fabric pot! Letting these 2 flower for 56 days and then flush! Ppms again are only in the booster feed cannot tell you what they’re getting from the soil added feed but it’s doing wanders!

Week 7. Just watering now while the plant matures. Buds are getting heavy and needed support so I ran a few twines to hold them up.

143gr for the Larger pheno and 97 for the shorter, very respectable yield in total for 3 Wk Veg. Total 240gr even they each had 1.5’x1.5’ of space. Big yielder, buds are 10/10 & very easy to grow . Could be prone to mold in an uncontrolled environment.

Day 70 - She's almost done stretching and starting to focus on bud formation. She grew 12" in the last 7 days and is drinking 1.5 gallons per day. Last week, the pH didn't rise quickly enough on it's own, so I will add pH Up to get her to 5.5 and let it drift up over the next week. Increased light to 45 DLI. Day 76 - For the last two weeks, I've had to add pH Up for the first 3 days after a water change to get the pH in range. By day 4, the pH starts slowly drifting up like it should. Wondering if getting more oxygen in the water will help better regulate pH

Begining week 6 the Snow Panda from Atlas seeds is the biggest of the girls as she shot up last week she is ready for flower just waiting for couple others to catch up but she has been loving life under the medic grow fold 6

Day 1 FLOWER First day flower!!!! Already showing two pistols in some junctions after only first 12 hours of darkness. First grow did that, second grow did not. Not sure what’s different. New reservoir change; 40 grams Calcium Nitrate 33 grams Jack’s Hydro 30 grams Magnesium Sulphate 100mL growth enhancer 100mL Fulvic 50 mL Humic 100mL H2O2 EC 1300 PH was 6.2 and headed higher, added PH down. I made a little mistake with the res change, I forgot to chill my 100 liters of fresh RO to 63F before introducing it... it came in contact with roots at about 75F. Hope I didn’t shock the plant with that move and everything is fine. Ive added 8 16w LED T8’s wired in parallel for some inside canopy illumination. I don’t expect it to do much but just wanted something with zero heat output. Might figure something better out or even move them up to next scrog net due to expectation of massive stretching. Side note! I want to purchase a third HLG light to fit nicely between the 550V’s... a 2 panel 300 watt version of the same R2 type for a total of 1270 true watts. (Just waiting for a discount code). New light will be up this grow for sure, stay tuned for that! The right plant is yet again much taller than it should be. I was pretty busy with work lately so they have sat in bloom tent on veg hours for 2 weeks... Hopefully they don’t stretch tooooo much.
