End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

FBA2501-week 1 of Veg This week has been wild. Once the roots made a foundation the upper growth has been explosive the last few days. Really cool to watch and see the daily growth. I introduce calmag and grow nutrients this week starting at a 1/4 strength. All in all they've responded well showing no burn what so ever. Happy

I have had some troubles this week. I have lost quite a few fish (not sure why) I am also showing signs of light burn/nutrient deficiency. I had to put netting around the sides because they grew taller than they should have and started falling over from the weight. The buds are filling out quite well, some of the hairs are starting to turn orange. It wont be long before harvest.

Took 2 clones from my sunset sherbet this week towards the end of the week. There continues to be explosive growth with this plant. I plan on switching to flower in a month or so and we will find out how she really performs.

Hey..next week the plant get the 35liter pot with same mix as the start pot...i add little helper seeds in the big pot to prevent some things like bugs and dry out to much from wind and sun....hope the sun gets brighter the next time...but for this hard conditions i would say..nice start. thanks ..... 4/25: It was extremely cold tonight, so I took the opportunity and took this time lapse shot over 3 hours... after 1 hour I added a drop of remaining osmosis water... and lo and behold, ten minutes later Calimero laid down his eggshell ... .now we can get started and I have that great shot that I've always wanted to take...sorry for the outside interruption, I couldn't miss it....in the evining after my work i kick her as instant out.....

Welcome to the start of week 5!! These ladies are really taking me by surprise with the growth they are getting !! I'm getting really excited to start training these ladies to make myself a kick ass canopy ! I will be topping shortly after they finish the node they are working on now and from there the training will begin. They got slightly over watered when I transplanted them an so the base leaves got minor discolouration but that's ok they are happy , strong and thriving ! Done. Harvested ALL on Day 72 - one LCC was very heavy on amber trichomes, one BPP and one LCC were what i consider optimum, and one BPP was VERY milky, like peak potency. very few amber. Interested to try them all! Total Drying time was 7 Days for both LCCs and 8 Days for both BPPs. I decided to do my first proper dry trim. For two plants i hit the spot and could just shave off the remaining leaves. For the other two it was much more of a hassle. They already smell way better than my previous runs where i dry trimmed. Also the colors are awesome for both plants that purpled. Smoke review will have to wait some time. Right now, all of them are curing.

This week Went very uneventful. Reduced the fertilizer down to 600ppm and flushed twice on Wednesday and Thursday, on Wednesday I still had 100ppm in the tank after the second flush it went down to 0. Kept her in darkness until Friday night and then started chopping her down.

Les plantes restent assez courtes "ramassées" car les lampes ne sont pas très hautes à 52 cm des apexs. Im feeding her steadily at around 825ppm every morning monitoring any possible deficiencies. I did defoliate quite a few leaves from the to[ and bottom once I felt that she is thriving happy and growing more vigorously during the stretch. I raised the light a full 2 feet. during week 1 and now at the end of week 2 the tallest stalk is about 14 inches while most are around 20. reason for a few stalks being taller is because of what happened when our 3rd plant ended up being a male during the transition to 12/12. Im not gna try anything crazy to try and fix it. Obviously there are no problems so dont fix whats not broken I guess. Have a great week !

First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...
