Unfortunately what we never want to happen has happened with my baby.. bud rot.. on day 98 of cycle I found 1 bud with bud rot, cut it off, checked the plant and could not find more.. flushed the plant and wait next day to see how it goes. After 2 days main bud was identified with bud rot too.. so sad.. probably due high humidity in my environment + colder weather we are starting to have.. so on day 101 harvest it.. could go few more days to get more amber trichomes but decided to harvest it to avoid lose more buds .. I will keep watching it to see if no spread when drying :(

In the begining, I had ph issues, but got it figured out and the plant grew like a champ. Over 6 foot just out of a 7 gallon pot. She grew very vine like and very much so is a sativa phenotype. When the buds started forming, they grew very long and lanky like and the buds drooped to the ground. I had to harvest earlier than I had wanted to but I should have done it before the rain hit buy even besides the little bits of mold, I found quite a few bud worms/caterpillars while trimming. I had to throw away quite a bit due to questionable mold and bud damage. Conclusion for my first outdoor grow, all in all was good I suppose. But next year, bigger pots or put in the ground. Defend against bugs even if I can't see them. And possibly even a greenhouse, which I had planned to do this year but never got around to it due to personal problem in life.

👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrfication process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

Chop Day! After recovering, i noticed she had the leaves closest to the fan drying up. I think since she lost most of her leaves, it was too windy and she got windburned. Considering her over all bad shape i decided to go for an earlyer chop then usual, but all trichomes seem to be milky, with just a few brown ones. Over all, this grow was filled with problems and fuckups. Many things were learned :) May the next one be better!

Fattys gettin bigger & bigger,all seems to run smoothly, that was the last lst (I hope), thinking about defoliation next week, its a little jungle in there.

Just started them all on the Green Buzz Liquid Organics and will run it the rest of the way. I'm not going to add much to the line just some calmag, enzymes maybe terpinator I have to experiment with it a little bit. The first feed went extremely well the plants instantly reacted within an hour after the feed especially the next day. The additives in this line barely raised PPM at all which I liked. It also doesnt stink like other liquid organics I've used. Day 21 of flower, these two are very healthy and have a pretty sturdy foundation. Had to defoliate a little bit I usually try to around week 1 and 3 of the flip. Getting 2nd feed of the GBL line today.

Rolling into week 7. Time to dial down the nutes and start my UVB regiment. I use Reptisun 10.0 bulbs due to LED UV's giving far less than optimal performance. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs work 2. I only run them from week 7 to flush and for only 3 hours a day within the current light cycle. Update day 45: After doing a trichome check, it finished EARLY!! Time to do a quick flush then harvest. I was going to add the nutes to the fresh water today 😂😂

Good day Folks 🙌 GOOOOD week so far. I have flushed all the girls twice this week but with -50% nutrients to remove the excess build up (lesson learned from previous grow). Removed all the tie downs used to train her as she has got the structure now. The white widow in the middle is slightly different pheno to the one on left. It isn't as dark as its sister , also the leaves are large. Smell is almost identical yet there is a difference amongst the two. I couldn't make up my mind which one I like more. Maybe my friends, once test it, will be able to tell me the difference. Her clone is growing fast and healthy the same. I will keep this strain for a while 😍 Starting tomorrow, PK 13/14 will be introduced 💪 The entire room, soon as you enter it, smells like fruits and sweets and other shit 😋 ** A slight recap on an issue occurred 2 weeks ago: New leaves/growth did get better immediately after cal mag dosage was increased. I know the spot now (i think) ... me and my big mouth lol 😂 The Cover pic is not 100% natural, Some color was subtracted from the picture in order to compliment the small stuff. The Pineapple Express is ready to come out soon and has started her flush with crystal clear , it tastes as good as it looks , I’ve pulled a bit more off to smoke ( the last pic ) . She’s got some purple coming out and is absolutely stacked in trichomes and sticky to the touch . The Gorilla Zkittles is another 2 weeks behind and will love getting the place to herself next week , she’s so stinky it burns your nose but every now and then that fruit orchards smell will come thru , she’s starting to fill out nicely and is standing a bit over 1.2 metres, I’ll spread her out some next week when I have the space and keep feeding her for another two weeks . For now it’s drier sheets at the exhaust vent and and giving these two a great finish.
