Combined the very last week and harvest into one entry. Plants did ok other then the yellow plant or plant #3 gong hemi and pollinating the tent. I would try out their genetics again as they look descent, if I hit another hemri though I think that would be it for them. I reach out to them and asked if this was normal and got no reply. I will check the tent once its clean and free of stuff for light leaks aorund where plant #3 was to confirm it was not my environment. Plant #1 Red took it the worst. it had issues from mid flower but did not finish strong and was hurting a bit. Nice smell over all. Will be transforming all this into bubble hash with a machine I got and some bubble bags. Don't know when I'll do this but that's the plan. God about 10oz of buds 293.5g/10.48oz It was not 100% dry yet but popped it into the freezer to keep it fresh. So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

1 of the bubba kush & 2 of the gorilla zkittlez are a little behind but over all everything seems to be going good so far! Day 10 update transplanted all the ones in smaller pots to 5 gallon pots except 1 of the bubba Kush it still needs a few more days! Everything else seems to be going great!

My permanent marker plants are looking really interesting! The short and stocky one with the purple leaves is super vibrant. I love that pop of color against the green of the other plants. It's a little different from the taller plant, which has this really cool stacked-up look to it. I'm curious to see if those stacked-up leaves will change color too. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

I like how the buds get bigger and bigger. Its a very special strain, need to grow the banana purple punch more.

Bang on the start of week 5. Slap n tickle is by far the lankiest girls in there out of the 3 strains I’m running. Topped and lst training has began. Also got A mutant that’s not taken well to topping and has been a slow grower the whole way though, So I’ve left that one Alone as there’s no branches to play with. Think I’ve overwatered them that’s why some look a bit sad (I hope) lol.. but wanted to wet the soil as been transplanted with only a light watering. All in all not looking too bad, taking well to training although there a bit longer and lankier than the rest!!!✌️🏼

Dernière semaine de croissance. Changement de solution fait le dimanche 22/11 car le ph commençait à descendre en dessous de 6.2 et cela faisait 1 semaine que j'avais fais le précèdent changement. Le PH lors du changement était de 6,8. Il est monté jusqu'à 7.5 mais je laisse le filtre faire son oeuvre. Il est actuellement à 7.1 et continue de descendre naturellement. carence en fer. Ajout d'une dose supplémentaire de Sensi CalMg Edit au 25 : Malheureusement ce que je sentais venir est arrivé, saturation en N. Le Ph et l'EC continuaient de baisser tous les deux. Les parties basses des plantes étant sombre et ayant une carence en fer sur la partie haute (puisque élément mobile), j'en ai déduit que c'était une carence en fer induite par une surfertilisation en N. J'étais à un EC de 1, je suis revenu à 0,8 le mardi 25 au soir. La bioponie est très capricieuse au niveau de l'azote. Le mercredi 26 le ph remonte ce qui signifie qu'on a stopé le processus de dégradation du N. Je devrais changer la solution mais je dois passer bientôt en flo donc j'ai enlevé de l'eau et rajouter, histoire de tenir jusqu'au prochain changement de solution qui est prévu samedi sauf si la situation dégénere de nouveau avec le PH. Addition of an extra dose of Sensi CalMg Last update : Unfortunately what I felt was coming has happened, N saturation. Ph and EC both continued to drop. As the lower parts of the plants were dark and iron deficient (on top because is mobil nutrient), I deduced that it was an iron deficiency induced by N overfertilization. I was at an EC of 1, I came back to 0.8 on Tuesday evening the 25th. Biopony is very capricious in terms of nitrogen. On Wednesday the 26th the ph goes up which means that we stopped the N degradation process. I should change the solution but I have to float soon so I removed some water and added more, to hold until the next change of solution which is planned for Saturday unless the situation degenerates again with the PH. Day 21 in the flower tent and I think the stretch is now complete. The girls are 12" tall above the screen and I'll probably put up a 2nd layer of trellis just to be safe. Will definitely only run 4 of these next time, or maybe 2 with the same veg time to keep the canopy lower, but I don't think the Photontek x465wPro will have any trouble penetrating down into this! Also time for another big strip! These girls just keep putting out the fans, so we'll just keep stripping them off, keeping tabs on airflow and budsites. We're still not setting bud yet - seriously, four full weeks of stretch so far here...

- Drying for 3 days, the 2 airports-plants chopped and dried in the dehumidifier and the other 2 hanged upside down as they were. - Humidity -> 40-50% and temps -> 21-24C°.
