This week has gone well, had a bunch of stuff typed out and closed my browser by mistake and now this is #2 attempt to post this week. Easy week for the plants, they have being growing well and I am impressed by the size of them. I added in some potassium silicate to introduce some Si into this grow. I decided to top them as they where starting to grow their 4th node, snipped that tip off and we're golden. They are kinda smelly if you rub them and that's fun too, Some of the hot peppers have also popped up and started growing. I still don't have anything on the Naga Morich pepper that I am hoping for. I have a feeling that as the seeds I got from these peppers where from a dehydrated pepper, they might be duds nuked from the dry heat of the dehydrator. I do have 4 vials of hot pepper seeds where the label has fallen off, I found the labels but no idea what one goes on what bottle. One out of the four bottles is Naga Morich, Having some none dehydrated seeds in my possession is one step closer to getting more of this hottie. I also found a fly out of no where, Its little wing is damaged and it more or less hops and glides unsuccessfully vs fly's but I took some videos of it. I also seen a few fungus gnats, little fuckers where not in my apartment before I am convinced their eggs survive in the stuff I buy then come out of it. Kinda annoying. PLUS I borrowed a light meter from my hydro shop, I was expecting it to be a LUX meter and that I would have to do a bunch of conversions but it was not, it was a legit Quantum Par Sensor, detecting in PPF "Photosynthetic Photon Flux" or umols/s, with these readings I can calculate my PPFD "PPF+Density" I have mapped out my tents floor into a colour coded grid of dots and mapped out the PPF at varying heights and dims. However I did not do it right and need to redo this. But once this is done I will have a functioning PPFD map with relation to my tent. This will help me tone in DLI and get it aorund a solid 35-40. Will be gearing up for a transplant next week. I try and post on Fridays but don't always get around to it. I take the pics on that date though and then try and remember what I was going to write about that week. PS Gorilla Tent Accessory's suck shit. The SCROG nets pic has the gorilla 2x4 SCROG net "black" and the Secret Jardin 2x4 SCROG net "white" beside it. massive difference in quality and size. I should have known when they state on the label its for 2x2 or 2x4, that's not even possible. Also tried out the nutrient line that's part of the gorilla tent company, Lotus, I ran it one year and it was just trash, did not work, had issues since first week and they would not correct. Buddy reached out to me and said same thing happened to him and he disliked the brand. Big shoutout to Medic Grow for sponsoring the lighting in my tent, They have provided me with 2x Mini Sun 2's in the 240w configuration, They use the v1 growing spectrum that is a all purpose seed to harvest spectrum so their is no hassle of switching it mid grow. Their first Neem oil leaf drench massage. Their first fertigation or watering. For the Og kush the third week Biobizz nutrient dose was followed. The only addition to the third week All Mix dosology was the inclusion of Alg a mic. At the above rate + Great white + bactrex. The above list of nutrients correspond to the OG KUSH Allmix schedule and doses. Fot the amnesia haze the watering had only Bactrex, White sark and Pro symbiotic at the doses listed above. No pH was adjusted nor measured and no EC either. *03/29 UPDATE* Since no option given for "breaking down" each strain individually ragarding the Nutrients section I ll update the irrigation/fertigation/nutrient regimen for each week in this section. Each time something changes on the Nutrients section it ll always be the last used doses of nutrients only for the OG Kush strain. For the Amnesia only CalMag treated water will be given in alternate irrigations along with a twice a week bacteria introduction to the system. So, today both plants got 1.8 lts of RODI CalMag treated water to .340EC with a controlled pH of 6.3. The Amnesia had a significantly higher runoff which I didn't anticipate nor understand but I'll find out why for sure. Some light LST directional guiding was given to the plants for forming purposes and future canopy levelling. In the Grow Hut since day one the plants are continuously enjoying the company of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia s music. They love it! *03/30 UPDATE* The best possible outcome regarding live phytoprotection by beneficial insects for pest control. As of yesterday I have two unidentified tiny sliders, possibly common garden ones and as of today a Coccinellidae sp. larvae running around the canopy (check the video) Hope for many more of them sweet protectors. Neem oil along with DE has successfully helped in deterring some Gnat "congregation". *03/31 UPDATE* Plants are growing strong and vigorous. Some LST done and their new canopy hairdo can be seen in the pics.

La bimba sta bene anche se sembra che questa settimana non si sia sviluppata più di tanto, spero che si gonfi nelle ultime 4 settimane perché ho molte aspettative da questa bellezza.

So it's another week down for this tent and we're looking great. Both the Pluto's are surpassing what I expected from them. These are going to be some of the biggest indica leaning plants I've grown....I've gotta good feeling about these plants 😉. The fan leaves are bigger than my head! Her structure is big and dominant which I love, especially when I didn't do any training. It shows good genetics and good flowers to come. We're continuing the insect frass and alfalfa for this last week then it's straight Frass for a few weeks. Other than that we're good. No amending, nothing. Easy breezy water only grow. Thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week!

Week 3 Update: Plant Growth: Progress has been slower than anticipated due to persistent cloudy and rainy weather. Despite the setbacks, I've noticed some signs of growth in the plants, albeit at a slower pace. Implemented Low Stress Training (LST) on a few of the stronger plants, including the Gorilla Glue and Gelato varieties, to encourage more robust growth. Weather Conditions: The weather continues to be a challenge, with only a few sunny days throughout the week. Rainfall has been frequent, making it difficult to provide the optimal growing conditions for the plants. Adaptations and Solutions: To counteract the lack of sunlight, I've constructed a mini tent equipped with LED lights to provide supplemental light and warmth to the plants. Despite the less than ideal conditions, the plants seem to be responding positively to the additional light and warmth. Nutrient Management: Feeding schedule adjusted to once every 2-3 days, alternating between water and nutrient-rich solutions. Using a combination of guano, worm tea, and a basic Grow NPK Autogrow mix to provide essential nutrients to the plants. Observations: Although growth has been slower than expected, I'm encouraged by the resilience of the plants and their ability to adapt to challenging conditions. Keeping a close eye on the plants for any signs of stress or nutrient deficiencies and adjusting care accordingly. Looking Ahead: Hoping for a change in the weather in the coming weeks to provide better growing conditions for the plants. Despite the challenges, remaining optimistic and committed to nurturing the plants to their fullest potential.

Hey my Cannabis loving friends! The HighCloudz is doing well, the buds are still growing bigger by the day and the resin production is abundant. This looks like a good strain for extractions and I'm planning to try and make some Piattella out of it. It's basically cold-cured bubble hash and it looks amazing. Check out Jolly Roger's video about it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG5KTaCMKOM . But let's not get ahead of myself here, we still have some weeks to go before harvest 😉 . The smell of the plant is very strong, sweet and peppery and I need to be careful about leaving the door open for too long. In this stage I almost need to tie my hands behind my back and just let her bloom in peace. There were a lot of black flies in the GTools all of a sudden. They can't do too much harm to the plant in this stage but I don't want these critters ending up in the buds. I placed a few fly traps to make sure the infestation doesn't get out of control. That's all for now! I post new pictures and updates as the week progresses so please check back to see the latest updates and keep on growing ✌️☘️😊 🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update Still a lot of black flies around my plants. If I can't get them under control with the fly traps I plan to use predatory mite to get rid of them. In the canopy however the buds are getting nice and frosty! The lower buds are also starting to grow bigger every day.
