2.17.2024: End of week 3. Plant is heathy and doing well. Pistils are showing and def in the preflower stage. Would wager there will be noticeable bud development at the end of this week. Still no nutes given although i would have to imagine its getting to be that time. No defoliation yet, only slight LST to the bottom branches.
2.18.2024: Start of week four from seed. Holding course.
2.19.2024: Day 31 from seed. Plant is drinking more. Gave 64oz at 6.4ph. Run off ppm was 1450 at 6.6ph. Essentially 4 full weeks from seed before i need to start feeding. Next watering will contain nutrients.
2.20.2024: Plant is doing its thing. Firmly in the preflower/early flower stage. Growing 1/2 to 1 inch a day it seems like. Still can't bring myself to do any defoliation.
2.21.2024: Day 33 from seed, 29 from sprout. Picked up the pot this morning and it was very lite so i gave it another 64oz at 6.3ph. No run off this time which tells me they are starting to need more water or i need to up the frequency. Still no nutes in 33 days! The branches of the top 2 large fan leaves this morning were sagging a bit with a touch of purple on the stems. Chalking that up to water but will monitor as we progress.
2.22.2024: Besides white tips on top growth, steady as she goes. I'll post a pic of the white tips. No idea how to solve. Plant is totally in flower but since we're almost at the end of week 5 from seed, i'll keep the diary in "flower." 14.5 inches from soil to top. Would love to see these get to 24 inches by the end.
2.23.2024: Upped water to 96oz at 6.4ph. About 2 cups of run off at 6.4ph and 1500ppm. Original soil still has nutes to offer at day 35 from seed.

Starting week 3, this strain grows like crazy!! The conditions are looking good, i am now giving her full nutes since she took more than well the last half-dozed nutes. Very nice lush green with no signs of deficiencies! One the root found its way to the tank wich surprised me be how fast she broke through the bottom hole

Aquí las fotos de esta nueva semana de vegetación para ambas plantas, cumpliendo así la white widow 23 dias de plantada y la zinfandel 16. La fotos corresponden al 21, 24 y 27 de abril. Por ahora no hay nada más que agregar. Ya que esta semana solo agregué algo de sustrato en ambas y el riego fue de agua reposada con una bomba dando oxígeno por 24hr y un ph de 6,1 a 6,5. Lo que no sé es si realizar alguna tipo de poda más adelante o si mejor las dejo crecer como son, ya que no sé mucho. Existe el temor de dañarlas o estresarlas demasiado. Lo pensaré, también recibo cualquier consejo u observación con ellas!

So This week was the same as the last really, It seems all I have to do is sit back and watch these ladies do their thing!
Ive not gone full on with the bloom supplements or PK yet as only 2/5 of the GG are seriously flowering.
The other 3/5 GG are now Finally showing some signs of flower and some tops are starting to build and lowers producing more pistils each day!
The Stardawgs continue to explode, even some friends who were sceptical about the performance of the Quantum board LED's have been flow away by the results.
All of the buds seem to be building dramatically top to bottom which no shortage of frost!

2/3 plants doing good. 1 plant however has a calcium defficiency showing as orange spots on 2 of the fan leaves.i have added 2 ml of cal mag in with their new nutrient feeds to help offset.
I have been watering normally without nutes for the first 3-4 weeks. The defficiency has resulted from me using soft tap water which contains very little calcium.
Since adding, no new spots have appeared so fingers crossed
Only using half reccomended dose of nutrients at this point to ease them In to feeding

I consider this the last week of veg, some might call it the first week of flower. But she looks great what ever you want to call it. I continue to be impressed with Seedsman strains. I'll be growing more from Seedsman in the future! 👍

So outdoors are always so tricky in Illinois.
This plant started in mid April when it was warm, then super cold with snow, followed by moderate weather, to be harvested a touch early due to high humidity, drought—followed by days of lots of rain. She suffered bud rot on a few sites and was harvested immediately after to save the rest of the plant. Super frosty, great terps and she survived it all! Literally!
Smells like fruit and dough.

We did the scrog, it helped us a little more to use as support to tie the branches with threads and manipulate them as we wanted, so we tamed it. but they kept growing as my colleague affirms

Been another smooth week. A few of the plants are starting to show signs that they are moving towards the finish line. Seeing some swelling, pistils starting to brown, and some beautiful purples coming out in some of the buds. Been debating on giving them a dose of dry koolbloom, but I will probably just keep them running on the maxibloom until flush since they look pretty happy. This grape doesn't have much of a fruity aroma like you would expect. Shes straight greasy gas. And shes building up pretty big.

Well this week was a huge learning curve, shoutout to @jinks101 for being a great mentor and helping me with these two girls. SO I think it's nitro toxicity or they needed nutes. My soil only has nitrogen in it, and after reaching out to the company I learned I need to supplement more. They are lanky af, but I also think having my light not as close for sure did that stretch. I;'m not really happy with these two but it's my first autos and first grow in general. They are starting to show pistils. The first sets of fan leaves are basically a write off due to the curling, but the last sets so far hasn't been effected. I will continue to give them nutes and keep my eyes peeled.
PH of soil, water and runoff all good, RH is 50 % ISH fluctuates a little bit but overall steady.

Hi Everybody hope you got a great week. And that you will have even a better one this week.
Little disappointed this week. All been great after defoliation cleared all leaves in way off buds. Responded well.
Been away for 2 nights and because off that that it's a cupboard Grow I needed to close the door at nigh to keep 22/24degrees at night.
But like you understand I was away so night temperature dropped to below 20 degrees in 2 nights and I got a cold Burn on my Gorilla Glue Autoflower.
By the looks off things all I can do is give her another week maximum Two.
And get her down. Next week will be week 8 that's what the Royal Queen seeds site says for finishing it. 8/10 weeks
Sorry to disappoint everyone with that grow.

Plants start to pre flower, everything is going good, few nutriments fails but overall it's pretty much ok
Pretty sad about the Zake and the Shimo in the front that pretty much had no stretch 😓
Cant complain since im working from seeds !

Frozen Black Cherry – Week 4

Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could.

Almost approaching the start of week 3.
Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed )
Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops.
Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high.
Note: Pest/Mould check done. Foliar sprayed with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) @ coolest part of day
- Next day applied high alkalinity ph'd water to kill mildew spores
- Fan heater running from 03:30AM - 06:00AM, pulsing/regulating temp at 19-21°C [ until light comes on ]
