Algae is an asshole. Thought things were going really well... and then found a bit of algae in the rockwool.... No biggie I figure. Wrong. Left it one night, and today (Sunday) open the jar to find algae in all the roots. Not cool. Well, I needed to swap the nutrients anyway, and was going to do a major bonsai pruning... so why not also wash everything, plant included, in mild hydrogen peroxide solution? Sure, THAT's fun. Made the decision to swap Hydroguard for H2O2 as well, since the water is room temp (21-22 C) and the H2O2 supposedly helps prevent algae.... and keeps away root rot even in higher solution temperatures. Oh, and H2O2 is also seemingly a buffer... making getting the pH right in that small jar strange - needed WAY more pH down than without the hydrogen peroxide. Fingers crossed that the major life disturbances will help manage the algae and not just put the nails in the coffin.

Jack Herer auto is doing good. Her cokascare starting to bulk. She is looking really good at the moment. Her ph has been stable from day to day so I am in the sweet spot on feed for her. These cultivars from Sensible Seeds Premium Selection have good leaf to bud ratio, they grow fast and bud production is spot on, oils and terps are really good, Give them a go Growmies, youll be surprised, im not getting anything from Sensible Seeds for this im just saying very good genetics and their not! expensive. Im gonna try Blue Zushi from @Original Sensible Seeds next as they have posted them to me so any day soon i will start these girls 🙏 ive bin waiting for Blue Zushi a long time, so im gonna give it 💯 attention and show her beauty👍🏻📸

Cant say much about this week because i wasnt home. a friend harvested her. The Smell was good and i hope the trichomes were perfect. i will give a review about the taste and smoke when its fully cured an dried.

Day 71👋🌱 I started flushing some days befor. I think I’ve got 20 days left but this lady eat a lot of feeding this last weeks so I give some more flushing. Buds looks full of all What they needs also if now they need to get fat and fat. :) let’s see what’s happen. Giving ph controlled water at 6.2/6.5, I check TDS to water owerflowing from pot, bringing it to 50ppm from 400. Maybe I could have fertilise two times more, but anyway I’d not a big problem, I’ve been feeding them a lot since the beginning so a more long flush won’t be a problem at all. 04.08.25. Day 70 10 weeks and I think she still has about 2 more weeks left. She is a big girl. 98cm tall. I gave her a fresh reservoir change out today. She has developed some symptoms on her leaves. Maybe nutrient burn or maybe the onset of some kind of deficiency. She is looking good. I will continue to monitor and update.

I think she's growing into flower stage .. not sure when it technically starts. She's not as big as I thought she would be when flowering started but I think she can still grow during flower stage. She is kinda bushy, that's pretty awesome. She's really a lovely plant all by herself.. even without the fact that she will one day get me stoned. She really is lovely. I haven't started giving her nutrients yet because she just doesn't seem to need them. I attempted some low stress training and broke a limb .. so now she's super lopsided lol .. poor girl. I've messed her up so many times. I'm trying to see if I can get the limb to grow as a close. 12/19 The soil seems to be giving them enough nuts at the moment... I noticed her tips were coming in yellow but that's something that happens every bit of now growth and water. I'm not putting nutes in her water yet. I'm not sure when I will since the soil is doing such a good job. I'm thinking she's going to flower soon but I'm not sure. I might have the wind too close to her but it seems to help keep the little bugs away and let's me worry a lot less about humidity. I turn her but I like to have her toward the wind on that cup shape. I used black yarn to tie her down and recently switched the pipe cleaner .. much better. Also using the binder clips to the sides of the bag to help have lots of places to bend. I'm currently tucking in the big fan leaves to try and keep them out of the way, but still letting them be big solar plates .. getting that light to help the plant grow and heal. This poor plant has gone through hell and back. She is my first grow and has lived through every mistake I've made .. and thrived! I love this girl. When she was a seedling I tugged her tap root When she was a small plant I accidently yanked her roots When she was a seedling first repotted I dropped the pot behind a shelf and it was everywhere I started with no real light except Amazon deals I broke half of her area off by breaking a big limb

After flushing, I let the pot dry out completely before harvest. The plant looks fully mature now, with excellent bud development and an extremely impressive yield. She finished covered in resin and exceeded my expectations in both quality and productivity.

Sie Sieht nicht nur aus wie Brokkoli 🥦 sie richt auch extrem Blumig mit einem hauch an Würziger Note...

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.
