There was mold on the bud at the end of one branch, that plant left with me to dry.

10 September Harvest - see pictures. While some growers leave the plant whole when they cut, I do not. It is a personal preference and situational convenience if your a home grower. I chose to cut large, long branches, and remove any whole water leaves, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the bud formation. I don’t trim yet. This is done for a few of reasons: 1) It’s my last good close-up look at her until another 5 days or more, 2) I don’t want wet leaves drying on my buds if I can help it, and 3) I occasionally like being able to shine a small LED flashlight on the flowers while its drying. Mold is our greatest problem as growers, it can destroy a beautiful grow right up until the end process. Then I hang it in a dark closet, provide circulation and ventilation. Light and heat, anything above 80 degrees F, will start a break down in cannabinoids during the dry, it is ideal to stay away from both. I’m fortunate that a humidity level of 50- 55% and temperature of 65-70 degrees F is fairly consistent and easy to maintain. Anything below 60 degree F will prevent the adequate drying out of chlorophyll. Almost all my flower routinely take 5-7 days, some a little longer, to properly dry out. 15 September Trim - see pictures. First you’ll notice the buds have shrunk up to half their original size. This is just a fact that we growers have to deal with. Due to evaporation without uptake of water, it takes about 3 days for the chlorophyll to dry up, then slowly go through a chemical change. Along with the leaves, cannabinoids also begin a chemical change after 3 days called decarboxylation. A slow process where the THC level increases while curing. You want the leaf to be dry so they can be hand trimmed easily, but you do not want that bud so dry that it starts to fall apart in your hand. Try to handle carefully by the main stem to avoid touching the bud all together. A lot of these cut leaves will be covered with trichomes, good for making oils, or other products, it’s an option worth looking into keeping it. After trimming, I do separate a few premium flowers for my first smoq. Then loosely fill wide mouth quart mason jars with about 1 oz/28 gr of product per jar. I seal the lids for a few hours to determine what relative humidity they are at, see hygrometer pic, before making a decision to put in a 62% humidity control pack of my choice or to wait, then place in secure in a cool dark place with stable humidity and temperature. It is very important to then observe/burp or exchange the air as needed, up to several times a day, until 62% rh is achieved. Once your close to to your mark, put in your desired RH level control terpene shield. If you have a problem getting there: 1) it has dried out too much, no real solution, try to put several large cut stems left over from harvest into the jars with the buds to try and increase humidty, 2) it has not dried out enough, in this case no problem, just remove and dry out a little more. This is also a personal choice, some people like it drier in the 50% plus range. Whatever you do, research and preserve. At that time burping is no longer required. Cannabis will reach its peak potency potential at about 40 or so days into the cure. The finished product should be a perfect grind when cured correctly without clogging up your grinder, this could take a month. Now that I’ve said that, I’m sure someone has grown something that they have not been able to grind. It can remain in this state for an easy 6 months with little change, locking in all the terpenes and potencies. All you need to do is occasionally check the product to ensure there are no molds. If your grow/harvest/cure techniques are good this should not be an issue. It would not be uncommon to find many cannabis strains will last, with small degradable change, for up to one year after being stored this way. Using an airtight glass container, controlled relative humidity, maintained low temperature, and kept in darkness will equal maximum shelf life. Always avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 80 degrees F. The reasons I’ve ultimately chosen Deep Water Culture as a grow medium. Each has their own pros and cons indeed. I found the most efficient, less maintenance and ideal solution for my situation was DWC. Burdens to overcome depend on size up set-up; initial equipment cost, size of containers, ph monitors, air pumps, type of water to use-reverse osmosis, RO cost/set-up/maintenance, ways to transfer/change water and nutrients, what nutrients to use and schedules, takes several grows to learn and understand, a 1 year learning curv, easy to nutrient burn. The Benefits of growing in water; no dirt, no bugs, no diseases, rare nutrient deficiencies/toxicities, steady and rapid growth that enables the plant to reach its genetic potential. After harvest, there is about a 1 hour equipment cleanup, sterilization and turn around process before replanting. Cannabis will perform in so many different ways and mediums, no one way is the best and the best way is the one you are using, right. Chose what works for you in the long run. There will always be an initial cost in set-up. My advice if one were in need to cut corners, I would not recommend cheap lights. This single factor is the most critical, afford for the best. The notion that organic and water has a different taste, flavor and potency effect is absolutely debatable. The more we learn the better we grow and experience is always the best teacher. This is what works for me and my methods of growing in general from beginning to end. A BIG “Thank You” to everyone who stopped by to take a look. I enjoy Auto strains simply by what can be achieved in a short time. No matter the strain they will unveil one thing in common, the demand for attention. 420 Fastbuds week 1 Cherry Cola Auto This week was definitely a good one. I ended up testing the drip system by going on a camping trip for a few days. Coming back I had no idea what to expect but low and behold these girls doubled in size in only the few days I was away. All in all Happy Growing

Jdu do květu tento týden mi začíná pořádná zábava, pokoukáníčko, vyvoňený byt a radost na čím dál tím větší úrovni!! Tento týden jsem ve 42 den udělal defoliaci pravé a dal jsem jí síť. Levá mě furt tak nějak trápí protože pořád nechce přepnout do květu. Nevím možná tý levý nebudu moct dát síť a snad se nezhermí... PK 13 14 jsem dal až včera a jenom pravé, protože už má docela pěkný květy, taaak ať jede bomby. Uvažuji jestli a jak hodně to případně defoliovat dál, tu pravou, u té se bojím víc jak u té levé tam je jasné že nějaká defoliace bude muset proběhnout ale otázkou je kdy?A jak moc...?

They’re all hitting their stride in terms of flower. Chemdawg easily the most impressive bud development/size wise, but Bubba is massive and has a TON of bud sites. No leaf discolouration at all so I’m guessing the ladies have switched to flower smoothly with the right amount of food in the soil. I top dressed with Gaia Bloom to give them a little extra for the next few weeks as they push forward. Crazy to believe Bubba might only have 25 days left which means I don’t know if she’ll get fed anything other than water from here on out

Set up an evaporative cooler to act as an intake and to cool the temp through evaporation. It I was able to get the average temperature down to an average of 77°. Relative Humidity increased to an average of 55%. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Evaporative Cooler: The evaporative cooler was way bigger than I thought and blowing all the air into the tent would be overkill and would throw off my ventilation given that I only have a 4inch exhaust fan blowing air out. So I had to rig an air duct onto the front to channel some, but not all, of the air coming from the evaporative cooler. I cut a hole in a plastic brownie box and zip tied right angle plate that I had leftover from an ikea furniture. Then I put velcro tape to easily attach and remove the air duct from the cooler for future maintentance and cleaning. I left the room where my tent is closed one day and the humidity went up to 84% which also increased the temperature to 90° but I found that simply leaving the room door open gives the cooler enough air circulation in order to function properly and averaged out at 55% RH and 77° F. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Defoliated some ugly fan leaves that were shading a lot of lower buds.

Flowering day 59 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The lady is slowly coming to an end 😍. The buds start to swell extremely . The trichomes are 80 % milky and 20 % amber :-) . 60x60 cm tent in a 1920's peek-in-closet Oversized vent for silence High power DIY LED True SoG 12/12 from seed with 15 plants in 2L pots Watering all plants in bottom tray with 30% of total pot size (10L) WEEK 1 DAY 1 - Germinated in paper towel DAY 3 - Planted into pots + Lights ON at 125w DAY 5 - All plants have broken soil DAY 7 - Slight stretch - Light at 185w WEEK 2 Two of the Iced Out are lagging behind, others are on point - I'm trying to push light and nutes to the max. Extraction fan (AC infinity Cloudline T6) on level 2. DAY 13 - First full watering (10L) with 20 ml Canna Terra Vega DAY 14 - Circulation fan turned on (low) during lights on WEEK 3 Good growth, two Iced Out still lagging DAY 18 - Light at 225w, Extraction fan on level 3 during lights on DAY 20 - 2nd watering, 8L with 30ml Vega + Light at 250w DAY 21 - On point, mostly :) Could've pushed nutes a bit more from the go WEEK 4 DAY 24 - So far this week I'm just kicking back and watching them do their thing. The two lagging Iced Outs are trying to catch up. DAY 26 - Watering 10L with 50 ml Vega (one day too late...) + light on 300w (max) DAY 28 - 4 weeks from popping the seeds, looking good except for the two Iced Outs, one of them is trying to get with the program, the other... Well, some plants are just pricks.

Smell of the plant is amazing. Smells like red Berries. Buds got huge and medium dense. I only harvested the 3 main buds as they are developed the most. The rest of the plant can stay for one more week. I Also removed some dead leaves.

31.3 F50 2L of water for each plant. Last two weeks of flowering starting, happy happy :) 3.4 F53 1L of water for each plant, seems like the plants are starting to drink less and less. Which is totally okay by me, no need for water every 2 days. Other than that I lowered lights like 5cm since there isn't that much flowering time left, might as well "blast" em with the whole 70 watts lol. 5.4 F55 Lots of small creepy crawlers in the pots. Took a video of predator mite strolling around the fabric pot!

So nun endlich wieder Zeit gefunden um die 8. Woche hier einzupflegen. Ist schon paar Tage her. Auffällig ist das die OG Kush ziemlich lang braucht um in die Blüte zu gehen, da haben die anderen sich mehr beeilt. Die Zkittly zeigt das sie ein ein ordentlicher Sativa Pheno ist. Ansonsten super gesund, immer noch kein gelbes Blatt in sicht.

Gorilla Cookies has been doing good up till today. Has a little ph climbing issue. So I increased nutrition some to help keep ph in check. She should be ready to go now. Everything is going well with the G3000 light.
