Wow, what a great week for the plants! Despite some challenging weather conditions, they really thrived. We discovered that watering them more frequently helps them deal with the sun and dryness in the greenhouse, which is fantastic news. We've also taken steps to control pests by using peppermint and more neem oil around the house, and we've improved the greenhouse's foundation. It feels great to see everything coming together! While we're aiming for the best, we know there's still plenty to learn and do. Next week, we'll likely start implementing some new growth techniques now that the plants' stems are getting sturdier and more leaves are sprouting at the lower levels. It's exciting to see them progress through this vegetative stage! One of the Sour Diesel was beginning to flower so we had to cut it off. She was putting all of her energy towards growing it and it was eventually going to kill her. RIP

the girls are struggling a little bit. One is yellowing because its about to flower, but one is just not growing much and the other is very lanky.

Week5 the temperatures dropped a bit and I did what I could...❄️❄️ Earlier this week I had to flush this little one because I thought she had nitrogen toxicity. Maybe not... But From the water that ran out I realized that the soil was full of nuts and after the flush I didn't give it any more water. as I use a 12 liter vase, you can imagine how much water was retained in the root system. for that reason and because the water is good quality and has an amount of micronutrients, I didn't have to worry about giving water this week. let's see next week, wish me luck 🤞☺️🌞

Hi all, Grow area updates: So I hit the switch and flipped the light to 12/12 to start week 1 of flower for the master kush. And also raised the scrog net and defoliate a bunch. Blue dream auto: Week 4 flower God her first real good defoliation and and a lollipop on the under the canopy. As you can from the pics. The bud sites are plenty. Plant def got biggger then what I thought it had to be tucked one more good time under the net ended up taking up space where another plant woulda be. Literally had to leave a couple branches still standing do to nowhere for them to go and I’m almost definite they will need assistance standing here in a bit. She literally takes have the flower area by herself. I’m stoked about that. The last pic from the web cam shows about how much I took from each branch For defoliation. Ppm at 900 Master kush photo: 1st week of flower She got pretty y’all over the past week the extra nitrogen grow really helped her have a Maher growth spirt. It got a lil hot this week so some minor leaf curling but nothing major. The new growth coming in looks perfectly fine. She responded well to the femming. So I went ahead and topped all the tops on her and she might get one more at the end of this week. She also got re-tucked under the net. Ppm at about 750. As always #StayKited!

On day 1 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 3 the buds are really starting to bulk up and are putting out side flower clusters already in week 5. I adjusted the PH to 6.1. The goal is to coast from 6.1-6.3 then back to 6.1-6.3 ect. On day 4 things look good I scoped out the trichs and found some to be filing up with cannabinoids :) maybe she will be done in 7-8 weeks like the breeder says. On day 5 my reservoir temp got into the 80's because when the reservoir gets depleted it lowers the water level below the thermostat and I'm getting into the colder months so the cold air temperatures are causing the heater to heat when not needed. My temporary fix is to place the heater diagonally when the water level gets low and then when the water level drops a little more I will fill my reservoir back up fully so to keep the heaters thermostat running correctly. On day 6 I did another defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow in the canopy. I installed a new "Nano aquarium heater" this will be able to heat my reservoir without being affected by the water level in my reservoir. I also changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. On day 7 the girls are looking and smelling great! I adjusted my reservoirs PH from 6.6 to 6.1. My Nano aquarium heater seems to do the job nothing out of the ordinary that I could tell after a night in the low 30's.

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

What's up Growmies🤟🏽. Week # 8 is in the books🙌🏾 Hello week #9💪🏾 I went a little overboard on pictures this week, they are so happy and healthy that I got carried away. I know we are supposed to post pictures with the lights off, however it's something about the contrast it gives with the lights on that makes it look sexy to me😁. I have had to tie the stalks of both White LSD plants due to heavy sagging. I'm noticing with this strain the stalks seem to topple over even though the buds are far from fully developed. A trellis net probably would be ideal however I hate them. They are easy to put on but very difficult to take off come harvest. I use garden wire and string them as if they are puppets being controlled by the puppet master🤪. I continue my feeding schedule with the recommended "bloom" concoction using general hydroponics Flora series trio. I give them 1 liter every 3 days. I have them on a 2 to 2 cycle (feed them twice with nutes and then twice with plan water) I keep the p.h. around 6.1 to 6.6. Temps and humidity are in the perfect range I'm enjoying it while it last because spring and summer in VA makes it difficult to keep the humidity in check. All in all everything is going well for me and my ladies. I hope the same for all of you. Started a little training, cut down the older fan leaves and topped up. I’m adding a tiny bit of root stimulator cause changed the pot size last week so it will to promote a faster growth. Gotta keep this lady low cause the box is quite small. So excited 😆

This was a fun week, the plants got their first feeding from the TripTonic line of nutrients. I did a light feeding and then had to readjust as the EC was a bit low considering the size of the plants. The runoff was a bit high and this maybe because of all the left over from the pro mix slow release, thought it would have been used up by now. They will get the same water as the rest of the plants on the deck for the remainder of the week. I don't know if the PH will get out of wack because of this, but given that it is mainly peat and it tends to be acidic I think I'm in the clear. The little video was fun to splice together too. Got a little package in the mail from a fellow grower. @GottaGrowSometime has shared some of their Fast Buds winnings and sent me some green crack cbd 1:1 and cbd 20:1, they also threw in seed of the cherry coke and a few extras. This is going to help me test out their CBD lineup and see if its worth growing out. Big shoutout to them for being a great community member. In return I will be sending them some of my backcrossed Dinamed CBD Kush Autoflower seeds I made, the testing is going well so best to see what it can do in other growers hands.

I can only say it again and again, the buds look beautiful, and it was very pleasant to cut in terms of the leaf / bud ratio 😍. After standing in the darkroom for 48 hours, it was finally harvested 😝. The buds were all sterile with Tool trimmed neatly by hand ✂️. Then they came back into the darkroom on the net, where they are now gently dried for the next 7-14 days at 62% humidity and 22 degrees temperature, before they are first put in jars with Boeveda pack 62%, which takes another 2 weeks is exchanged for Boveda 58%. 08/26/2020 2nd week of flowering and temps are down in soil to 68° going to be 56 tonight. Put a video of her sister plant. These girls should go another 8-9weeks but our first frost date is around the 10th of October hope for a warm and dry fall. 08/29/2020 got her tied down, snapped the center branch so I tied her stem upright. Gonna give her one last dose of blood meal (12-0-0)before week 3 starts that should be good for the next 4weeks, and 2 tbls of (4-9-3) so my last feeding will be (16-9-3) for the stretching fingers are crossed🙏
