Week 7 begins for Mandarin dreams. Both ladies are looking good and healthy, bud sites continue to bulk up and frost up. The shirt smell from MD1 has gone away, it's current smell is a bit earthy. 8/21/24. Going into week 8 flower Are we there yet? Haha.. no. Day 57 out of stated 70. 13 days? Hmmm I don’t know. I thought she might go longer than that, BUT now I think it’ll be less. I suspect another week and she’ll be ready. Appearance wise, I’d say she’s pretty much there.. trichomes say other wise. Still quite a bit of clear with the start of milky coming. It’s all gonna be about ripening now. Water/fed her today. She’s yellowing heavily or I would have already stopped. I’m guessing this is just her type of fade. No real colors going other than yellow. Maybe that’s because she’s a banana 😄 I increased the light to 80% a couple days ago just to be a pushy bitch. I’ll decrease it way down to probably about 40-50% in a few days because I like to do that when they’re finishing up to help bring temperature down and I think it makes them wrap it up. These pictures don’t do justice to the fatness of these buds. They’re obese and not ashamed. Body positivity with this girl. Somehow some of the buds have suicided. Aka jumped out of their spot in the trellis and tried to hit the floor. I can’t do anything about it really. Can’t reach them and can’t be bothered. Smell? Skunky rotten fruity…idk. And coffee? You can smell it through the place and maybe at the neighbors LOL Wellp. Waiting game now. See yuh next time ✌️

On cruise control now, done some defoliation here and there but that's it, feeding every 2-3 days and they are swelling up very nicely. Really into the aggressive stretch now going to be doing some defolation this week there looking in good shape for it going to slightly increase the ec to 1.6 a week after defolation as to the defolation I will ease off the ec for this feed to over the stress week three I shall lollypop them all and clean up the girls and won't touch them after that last defolation in the end of week 3 I also foiler fed with the shogun boost

This is my growdiary for the Royal Gorilla seeds. They are growing together with NL from RQS. I planted 3 of them and all are growing happily. I planted each seed in a different pot so i can look for differences in yield and quality. Im looking forward to share the grow-process with you and i hope you enjoy my diary :).

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. I got my 2 long and narrow paper bags out. The ones the french bread are in at the store. The ones with the long plastic window in them. I went to the male plant, that I have in a different greenhouse, and got some of the open flowers and pollen inside the paper bags. This is a good male. It has lots of flowers, not many leaves, is not too tall, and is good smelling with the "rub the stem and smell your fingers" test. And the smell stays on my fingers for a few minutes, not disappearing in a few seconds. Careful not to dump out the pollen I slid the bag over the buds I pick out. I pinched the bag around the branch and held it with a clothes peg. I gently shoock the bag to get the pollen to each flower pistil. When I closed up for the night I shoock up the bag again. I gently took the bags off the next morning, careful not to spray pollen all over the place, then went a got some more pollen for the next plants. and repeated for all 6 plants. Got some yellowing of some of the older leaves. This is sort of self pruning to me, but I will add some extra nitrogen next time to slow the yellowing. I've seen a few fungus gnats around, but nothing to worry about. Ok. The Adventure Goes On. Be Great. Chuck

I grew all of my plants the same and with 3 strains and only being allowed to have 5 plants total I have to pick the strongest growers and hope they stay strong and this time for me the gamble payed off nicely with a good harvest. I would recommend this strain as it grows fast and did not seem to be a picky eater and took in a lot of heavy feedings... One of the plants has a slight pie dough smell, but still very minimal smell when I open the tent. EDIT: the smell is actually making it passed my carbon filter, and I am not sure why it is only 1 of the 2 plants giving off the heavy smell as well. The chunkier/darker colour one is the one that smells real heavy, smells really creamy/doughy. UV/IR has been on for the past few weeks, and will stay on until the end. The plants have gone through a bunch of issues so far, and are still going strong. Gave a tablespoon of power bloom to each, on day 31.

Everything was going well during the first week of flowering. I waited until I completed 7 days of flowering to record them. They were flipped on September 20th. The first two days of flowering were difficult because the end of winter reached 35 degrees Celsius inside the tent. Some Bakers showed slight heat stress, the GMOs much less so, and Pure Glitter gave me the impression that she liked high temperatures. I didn't add any additional nutrition other than the flora biostimulant, Tricoderma, and I did a light superficial foliar spray with Bacillus. I'm thinking of maybe adding 0.2g/L of MKP and pure water after four waterings, with an average pH of 6.8 for all solutions. I decided to remove two plants from the tent and flower them outdoors. The goal is to explore their genetics and their development in the sun, even avoiding potential overgrowth. What led me to this decision is that at the beginning of this journey, I had a GMO #4 that only veered for three weeks and had a severe sulfur deficiency. It ended up stalling and I almost killed it. I decided to leave it in the sun with just water, and it simply responded very well. Without adding any type of nutrient, it corrected the deficiency and began flowering. The plant showed many trichomes early and shades of purple in the third week of flowering, which may indicate high anthocyanins. I'm very excited for the flowering of these outdoor and indoor plants. The smell of these girls is already infesting the entire house and even spreading outside. The GMOs I thought were regular, I'm now thinking they might be feminized, as all the seeds I planted have sprouted and are all female. The flower's owner said it's a Mamikos genetic. It's hard to say, but I'm very happy with the smell and development of these plants! I'm very happy with how everything is going, very excited to see the results. See you next week!

Day 17 First feed... Starting to look stronger and more uniform than the Lifted strain. Day 20 Emergency transplant! Ever heard of biosolids? I hadn’t. F#@k that shit. Too many unanswered questions and lack of information. I’m out. Back in organic soil. Fingers crossed 🤞

Memory loss began to show female by july 4, so it's now 6 weeks since first hairs. I am using bamboo stakes (only on this girl) at about 3.5 feet above soil to create a canopy, similar to a SCROG. There are hundreds of budding sites. Star killer and Calif orange are just beginning to show female. Star killer 1 is being allowed to bud with minimal interference, star killer 2 has me reducing the number of buds to a dozen and cali will have only 2 colas. Daytime temps range between 80 and 100. But they are used to it and are thriving. nighttime 55-70. in containers. fed organic in flower twice. watering is whenever soil dries a bit and pulls away from edge. about 3 gallons does all 4 plants. Plants are between 53 and 60 inches tall. Memory loss canopy is nearly 4 feet square. heavy watering 3.5 gal all 4 plants total.
