I switched them to 12/12 four days ago so I’ve let them do their thing for most of the week. Today they were defoliated and any suckers with no chance of making the net were removed. The canopy was getting dense and humid with the large fan leaves the 8 ball produces. I’ll do this again at the end of the 3rd week flowering. All the training has finished now. This strain doesn’t stretch much at all so I’m letting them come up and gain some height. Any LST done from now on will be to keep things in check. Happy growing.

Veg22, riego con 3.0 EC y pH 5.9, drenaje promedio de 5.8 pH y 2.6 EC(muy bien), primer riego con Sensizym para limpiar un poco las raíces, y este será el último riego de vegetación con Voodoo Juice, Tarantula y Piranha. Se hizo una pequeña defoliación de las hojas abanico más bajas y se volvió a ajustar el LST, ya van tomando la forma final. Veg23, creciendo bien. Veg24, se mide la temperatura de las hojas 22°C y se compara con la temperatura del indoor 23°C, con una humedad de 50% RH, la calculadora arroja un valor de VPD=1.24 kpa, lo que está dentro del rango óptimo. Veg25, hoy toca una pequeña defoliación y probaré también hacer un último apical en 2 o 3 plantas a modo de prueba. Al final, tomé un gran riesgo, y hice varios apicales extra y una defoliación más grande de lo que tenía en mente, tengo fe que resultará bien 😎👌 Veg27, riego con 0.8 EC y pH 6.0, drenaje de 6.0 pH y EC 2.0, se están alimentando y creciendo bien, quedan casi 2 semanas para pasar el fotoperiodo a 12/12, espero que crezcan suficiente para esa fecha. Veg28, un par de hojas de 2 plantas presentan mordidas tipo oruga, revise y no encontré nada, aplique spray insecticida, espero no siga pasando. A parte de eso siguen creciendo bien, quedan un poco más de 10 días para el paso a 12/12.

Growing this purple was easy Going most of the way, Only drawback was she grew so big it was hard anchoring her down in the basket from the tilts, but once she was down she put on a show. Her heavy Buds were thick, hard oozing resin was potent and sticky I quickly scooped up some falling Trichomes from beneath my tray Loaded my chamber 220c and 8hrs later I finished my day.Probably could have taken half that time had i not loaded that first bowl then the next....... 😎 Just a tad over 12 Oz on my quest to hit 1 pound per plant. Week starting off a bit rough. Massive temperature spike up to 29 degrees c and 30% humidity for a few hours shocked her. Some yellowing on the tips of new growth. Starting off this week with lower A + B (1ml/l, 1/3 strength) and adding in some potash plus to prestart her for flower. Midweek: Flushed with about 10L of Ph'd water because I was seeing a significant rise in TDS/EC. Started feeding today with 1/4 strength Grow A+B and 1/4 Bloom A+B. End of week: Very consistent growth. Amazed. Going to be a monster auto 😁 May have broken a branch while LST. Just put it back where I found it and tied it up. Hopefully the I didnt see it, it didnt happen method pulls through. Started feeding with Bloom nutrient schedule at 1/3 strength and upped the dose of calmag to 1ml/L Next week will see a steady increase in nutrient strength and additional bloom additives from cycos advanced line and her first hair cut.

This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. This plant was a pleasure to grow, with cola buds dense and encrusted, and a problem free first grow. Seem to have gotten an OG dominant pheno with nice gelato hints of flavor and color; the citrus zest may or may not come out in the finished product, for me it is faint. Hope to grow this strain again in the future, definitely head-stash potential so my remaining steeds will be going in the vault. I let it hang dry a bit too long, but they’re currently a week into the cure at about 59% RH. My next grow will probably be the same set up, but improving on it with the experience I’ve gained through this process. I hit my 10 Oz total yield goal I’m pretty satisfied with my techniques and strain choice. Get this strain if you want an easy, high potency indica with impressive yields and good flavor. I’ll also be dry sifting the (tons of) sugar covered trim from both of the plants to press into resin, so I encourage y’all to take advantage of all that the plant provides. Cheers
