Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Special Queen looks like she has 3 leaves, Blueberry coming in well. Did a bunch of LST and some super-cropping to bend the Sativa down

21.11 Middle of the last week i start to saw that plants are giving sings on soon harvest(pistons darker color, curled in bud, trichomes (big transparent-cloudy, middle cloudy-amber , small also transparent-cloudy) From yestrday they are in rest and dark mode Didnt do water flushing becuse i am using bio nutrients, last watering 18.11 Environment in tent is solid now without light,lower temperature( 0-5°) and more humidity(50-55%) ,so thats good I will wake them up soon, but need to wake up myself in morning also😴 Gn 🥦🍀💚💆‍♂️ 23.11 After 71 day of which two days in darknes , looking for 40-45% humidity and solid temp 20-25 i did cutting part and take them in more darknes, for drying 😁🤤 24.11 Situation in tent is how i want, becuse of the smell in room is colder then it should be so humiditiy is bit lower ( now 47-51%) but temp is also low ,i hope that will do solid exchange with not drying to fast becuse of lower temp, they look more frosty after few days in dark, smell is better and more aromatic, but i guess when you grow in tent, it could not be intense smell like outside, on constant fresh air,condtitions in real time, but its good, checking every day situation with buds, 24/7 good good air flow in all directions , ifan and carbon filter also doing solid good job with killing smell thats going down the pipe outside. Whole run was very good and i didnt have much problems or questionable situation, setup from mars hydro did well and equipment didnt make any problems in work, nice amount of watts for 3 plants, good size of tent to work normaly, from 1 place reach everything you want, and yea biobizz soil and nutriens also show up quality and results, with good dosing of nutrients and accurate ph level, resault was there. I also see flaws and thing that i could do better, but in total i am proud on me for doing my first grow, think that this change perspective about lighting buds and enjoying them. Here we are in week six of flower and not a lot has happen this week other than the usual watering and letting her do her thing. Only trouble this week was updating GoPro had to try a few times. Other than that we got some rain in my home town and collected about 60 gallons that I'm going to use to finish the rest of the grow. Also, got my new AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet Inline Duct Fan System with Temperature and Humidity Controller, 4-Inch. I was really hoping this two plants would finish before the year ended, however, it looks like they got others plans. See you guys next week.

Dejo dos VIDEOS del primer mes en las dos carpas!!! Desfrán Auto se ve que no le gusta el ferti, por las hojas dobladas hacia arriba. Solamente las automáticas parece... Cada vez que las riego las hojas se ponen en forma de garra como estresada, asi que voy a utilizar agua solamente. Por cierto el agua que utilizo es agua purificada sin cloro y metales pesados. Ahora me prestaron un medidor de Ph que empiezo a utilizarlo en el segundo mes. También compraré un termohigrometro y voy añadir un ventilador extra. Las demás Red Dragon, Amnesia Lemon #1 y #2, Bubba's Gift y Desfrán Fotoperiódica estoy aplicando Aptus Pro y se ve que les encanta. Le hice poda apical a la Defrán Foto y quiero intentar hacer un Main Lining, porque crecen muy rápido. La voy a tratar de dejar lo más bajo posible. La Bubba's ya va creciendo más, pero en versión "mini". A ver qué onda como les va el segundo mes de vege. La idea es vegetarlas hasta que las Desfrán Auto (3) estén listas para cosechar que supuestamente son 14/15 semanas. Así que tienen tiempo para crecer las demás, sobretodo las Bubba's #1 y #2

Same thing as the other weeks in flower, just keeping them trimmed and happy! First time using Advanced Nutrients with hydroponics and the plants are loving it so I'm pretty happy about that 👍 Hydroguard is still doing its job too, roots are super healthy and clean!

Hoy haciendo esta publicacion le quedan 24 horas mas de oscuridad, osea mañana miercoles es el 2do dia de oscuridad para picar. Noto muchos terpenos, en cuanto a produccion, ésta sepa no produce muchos cogollos,eso lo lei luego de ya sembradas, se ven muy bien, les estare contando hacerca de sus efectos, pero su olor es fuerte, me tioene toda la casa olorosa a frutas. Muy contento y deseoso de probar esta sepa. Luego de cuidarlas mucho, se ven alegres, para pasar al proceso de secado, esperen a las cosecha amigos, y gracias por tooodo su apoyo. UN ABRAZO GRANDE A TODOS, buenos humos!

This week buds are super dense and getting frosty by the day. Starting to wish I made the best use of space as some of the lower canopy not recieving as much light. A little difficult to reach all plants. Arimq is very strong and citusy , pungent & fruity.

Buena semana para todos!! Esta planta también surgió de un esqueje que intercambié. Al momento de recibirlo tenia 1 mes de vida y lo pasé a una maceta "Air Pots" de 10L. Tuvo 40 días de vegetación en esta maceta, se le hizo podas apicales y Supercrooping para regular su altura. Al día de la fecha (29/5) lleva 17 días florando. Está hermosa. Calculo que en 3 semanas más estará para corte. Saludos y buenos humos.

So it’s been a good start i got sent double what i ordered as the first order got lost in transit & arrived a day after they sent out the replacement order. Got so many strains to choose from but i will do a mixture of fast bud autos & real gorilla seeds semi autos Got a big site nice and hidden away aiming for roughly 50 plants - will get some shots next time i'm down there Threw my first plant (Blueberry clone) down the other night despite the cold weather. Using it as a tester to see if it can hack the weather

So, day 14 will start today at 5pm......the bigbud develops quick, the cherries seem to be a bit slower. The "Cripple" shown on one photo develops the slowest. Seems to me, that the cherries had a bit of a problem with light intensity, which surprised me. So I changed the lamp distance and since then they seem to like it better. Never used led light and am surprised about their power. Never had the problem with too much light intensity. So I will most definitely buy another and smaller lamp for the first week or 2. Operating at 25% was still too much for the cherries. Alternatively I could change light distance in this time. Plants are fed 2ml of root juice and biogrow per liter. From week 3 on I will increase it to 3ml. UPDATE DAY 19 Plants receive 3,5ml of biogrow per liter. They drink like alcoholics so now they get about 1litre of pure water and about 400ml of nutrition. I started LST as you can see. Temperature now sucks a bit, but it's hot outside but will change tomorrow fortunately this is no permanent problem. If I am lucky and nothing unplanned happens, like insects..... I will enjoy these probably. Plants also began to show gender and look female so far. In about a weak I will change nutrition for blooming UPDATE DAY 20 As the pervert that I am I watched this video over and over.........😂 well, the one I posted......What I thought I have seen was slight signs of over nutrition. Wouldnt wonder, because first 2 weeks (more or less) they did get just root juuice and I jumped from 2 to 3..5ml of grow....😁Ladies seemed thirsty but right now I guess, the color I thought was a sign of undernutrition is just the "normal" pheno from the cherries. Sry for my english. Day21 So I was able to apply a bit more lst since plants start to stretch a bit. The biggest plant in the back got bend down in order to avoid burning the top or having to adjust the lamp. I get more and more excited to see them develop! I also started taking of lower leaves that are not needed. Plants are super bushy and will have about one more week, before they enter blooming. The stems are pretty strong and sidebranches get bigger and stronger too. So far, everything alright. Plant height is about 25-45cm, estimated, but my eye is quite OK. And 1 or 2 cm more or less don't change the general fact that they are impressing me so far I actually just wanted to share a creative moment I had this morning..... I guess you all know Dean Martins "let it snow"..... She's responding super good to lst method she looks absolutely gorgeous I would have loved to be able to grow her since march however It was not posible but I keep this wonderful indica in my list. This wonderful pheno of Alien gorilla has started flower the 3rd of August.
