Week 8 begins for mandarin dreams and divine storm. All four ladies are frosty, sticky and the mandarin smell is incredibly strong. Also I learned about bracts and that I falsely refer to bracts as calyxes. But yeah, she is slow with tiny bracts. A subtle smooth flavor/aroma. Can’t really put my finger on it, but I like it. Day 70. That smooth sweet smell is coming through more. A sweet fruity smell with undertones of almost a vanilla type of cream. Maybe the name was inspired by the smell?

Day51: flowers are getting bigger, leaves tips are still under control. The environment is getting hotter and hotter due to the heatwave but the plants are holding on. Day55: i was not home for 3 days but the plants were fine, just thirsty, hot and with some gnats due to being closed for so long.

What to say about this week? For starters LST was started this week. Initially I used garden ties but soon after replaced them with 6” garden staples . 2 of the 6 girls began throwing pistals resulting from the LST starting around day 15 YIKES 😬. The Zkittlez & the Runtz both from (Expert Seeds ) began giving the 5x5 its first smells . The LST so far has been a pleasure no ooosy daisies so far & the girls are showing what they are made of . The secondary shoots have great potential to form a nice round bush that I can train out into an even-as-possible canopy . Today is day 21 & day 20 for this bunch . They are only using Gaia Green dry amendments for feedings but I decided to take some advice given to another grower & supplement my girls with some compost tea . NO I DONT THINK THEY NEED ANYTHING ADDITIONALLY IM REALLY HAPPY SO FAR WITH MY NUTES bbbbuuuuuttttttt in the short chance that my ladies may take a liking to an occasional tea & reward my pampering with large , long , frosty, stacked cola’s . . Thennnn I’m supplementing , I consider this all “4-play” for my ladies Ik a giver 🤷‍♀️😭 My only concerns are racing against this clock to get as much size & solid structure before flowering sets in I’ve really got my heart set on a certain outcome & I’m one for a good challenge. Finally , atleast as much as I can remember, I increased the dimmer knob on the light from 65% to about 78%. I won’t increase the watts any higher until bloom sets in fully & at that point I’ll be turning it to 100% raising it a maybe 6 inches & watching patiently for my girls to start praying 🙏 to it . 9th Week Report 12/12/19 - 19/12/19 In photos CMXL is on the left and LSD on the right 12/12/19 Unfortunately humidity at 80% and since is too high from next week I will try to give them more aeration. Hope there won't be mold. Changed solution and raised its strength to 90% and unlikely the last change I didn't added a small quantity (0.5/L) of "grow" nutrient as both are in full flowering 13/12/19 CMXL got a bigger defoliation and now you can see even more bud sites! 😁 Just waiting for her ;) Looking to LSD I guess next week we probably will be ready to harvest. As you can see she almost has no more space, CMXL is giant (and beautiful) and she is starting to cover LSD, but hopefully LSD will be harvested soon and consequently CMXL will have all the space she needs. CMXL was defoliated every couple of days, the quantity of leaves that were removed during every defoliation session is more or less like in the photo uploaded. However it looks like CMXL is not anymore stretching and just fattening up, so from the next week will get light defoliation just when needed (if she will cover everything again like last week probably will get one more last stronger defoliation). awesome strain, fat resinous buds with an awesome scent and great yield! both plants grew very evenly and almost looked the same, would grow again any time!

Week 6 from seed day 42 auto blue cheese

Week 3 flowering. Buds are slowly forming, plants still going good, cold weather is hitting my area now, hope it won't last long, might extend flowering period by a couple days if it stays this cold.

Die Woche über hat sich die Pflanze gut entwickelt. Ein paar Triebe und Fächerblätter habe ich herausgeschnitten. Zum Ende der Woche habe ich das Cover Crop abgeschnitten; Kickflip, gemalzte Gerste, das CalMagic Kit und IMO4 eingearbeitet und anschließend wieder das Cover Crop als Mulchschicht aufgelegt. Wenn Ich das Bittersalz eingegossen habe werde ich hier noch Hanfmulch aufbringen.
