05/03/22: Installed the industrial strength dehumidifier to keep the pesky humidity down - defoliated again to allow even light spread. lots of colas forming nicely - some brown pistils on certain plants aswell - plants should stop getting taller now and focus purely on bud production. trichomes are starting to appear on the sugar leaves and is starting to smell strong.

Some vertical growtg, about an inch. Got more leaf burn so moved the lamp away.

F39: still a leafy bud we're on the second half of flower now, finishing it up. The hairs have started to turn brown. I feel like this would have looked really good outside as this looks kind of like a cheese strain I grew outside a year or two ago. F45: I'm starting to like how thick the cola looks. Starting to wither as the lower leaves are turning yellow and the upper leaves are slowly changing from the tips down. Also a few brown hairs now. Maybe two weeks or so left. Not entirely sure how fast it will ripen at the end.

Good week so far. 😎 Ups and downs,but learning tons along the ride.🤓 The plants are responding well to the flushing (yes flushed again) color is much better and just the general appearance looks good after 2 days. 💪🌱💪 Lst seems to have been received well, no extra stress to these girls. 🙏 Will continue to update with pics and vids throughout the week.

Week 1 Today I started 2 Strawberry Pie Auto from Fastbuds. 🍓🍓 I'll start by giving 18 hours of light and controlling the ph 6.5 without nutrients Let's see if they want to grow or not.

As of day 50 buds continue to fatten up. There has been a lightening of foliage across the plant that has left it more of a lime green. I have had some higher temperatures (29c) that are borderline concerning but I am hoping it's not causing heat stress. My thought is that the lightening is just the normal progression for an auto well into it's flowering cycle, but if anyone has any thoughts on this or the general health of the plant please let me know! I found them and i think i staked them back to health in time, no noticeable damage, more blindsided while realizing the volume and coming to grips with the next step. the reality of the bounty of my garden is dawning on me, and i am a bit intimidated. by the dry, as i am in low RH. by the cure, as i have never done one before. by killing my girls, as they are lovely to ease my anxiety, i ordered 20 hydrometers and increased my jar count from 36 quart jars by adding a dozen 1/2 gallon jars. it is obvious some of the buds need bigger jars to stay intact during the cure. i skipped the boveda packs for now. they are amazon prime away in an emergency, but i figure my attentiveness will be enough, at least this first grow; plenty of people did it right before me without the boveda packs, and when i can pay less per hydrometer than boveda pack... it becomes an interesting decision. i choose old school... for now (mind subject to change) end game is WAY more intimidating than dropping that seed into that cup of water. no one told me it would be this stressful! i hope i do them well during this next phase and these next few weeks. they certainly appear to have done me well 9/7/17 I have a confession to make. When I thought the plants got stunted by the heat, I considered pulling the plants and starting over. Boy an I glad that I didn't. I didn't know what I didn't know. What stopped me was reading a forum post somewhere and a guy was frustrated with his grow and was thinking of pulling it (i think he only had 1 plant). Someone responded to him with very prolific questions. "And then what? Plant another and make the same mistake again? Why don't you finish her out so on your next grow you know better what not to do?" Bingo. He wasn't even talking to me, but he was speaking directly at my situation (or so I thought). I decided to finish them, even if they were stunted dwarfs (SPOILER ALERT: They aren't, I was wrong, they were anything BUT stunted) I am really glad I found that advice because who knows if I would have went through with it if this gentleman hadn't given me a moment of clarity. So if you are frustrated by your first grow, I would advise to finish the grow no matter what (unless, obviously, its a male or moldy or something that DEMANDS the plant be culled) and learn what to do better for next time. I thought mine were gonna be bonzai plants. Not even considering the money wasted and the time wasted, I would have missed out on what the plants have taught me and a tent full of superstars. Now, as I am approaching the end, I need some advice. Aside from trics, is there any other way to determine approx how long left in the grow? I need to change my nutes to end stage stuff (adding dry koolbloom, phasing out unneeded nutes, and finally the flush. ) I am super worried about getting the timing right. Besides trics, are there any other clear signals that we are rounding the corner to the final stretch? Thanks in advance. Also, I live in a dry environment. A desert, actually. For real. It seems like dry trimming will be very important for me if I do not want it to smell like alfalfa after the cure. Any thoughts on dry trimming? I know it is more work, but the results seem better. My plan, so far, is to hang the entire plant upside down in 1 piece to dry. The only question is, how many of the large fan leaves to leave on. Some leave all, some leave only the small ones in the buds. Any thoughts will help me decide along with my other research. Thanks!

End of week 9 flush week, cut the blueberry ladies and put them in the mesh drying rack. Will update in 2 weeks with first smoke and dry weight, assuming she's dry in 2 weeks. Flush week for the Super Lemon Haze, she'll get chopped this coming Sunday.

D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. The tent was packed when I opened it! The girls had stretched more, and a couple of leaves were even touching the lights and had gotten burnt. They are now 125 cm tall. That's five times the height they were when I flipped to flower. Five times!!! I have never had a strain stretch this much, and I hope they are done now since there's no more room in the tent. I removed the fan and carbon filer and placed them outside the tent. It looks a bit stupid and is far from stealthy, but what to do? I moved up the lights as far as possible, but I will probably switch the lights with the one I have in my autotent. That light has a much lower profile, so raising it even further is possible. Should that not be enough, I will have to cut off some tops, but I hope it doesn't come to that. The first girl already has dark purple flowers, while the second looks more green with some purple. ------------------------------ D61. I opened the tent today, only to find that the second girl had stretched another 2 cm overnight! This is getting ridiculous, and I hope they stop soon. I super-cropped the tallest top, hoping it would slow down the stretch. A few hours later, she had already recovered. These genetics are nuts! In other news, my girlfriend found spider mites on her papaya plants that are in the same room as my tents. We immediately removed the plants from the room, and I started to scout my plants for an infestation. The good news is that I didn't find any spider mites. However, the bad news is that I found thrips on the lower leaves of the second girl. Ugh! I had thrips last grow season, and I guess some survived. The thrips were only on the lower part of the plant, so I defoliated the girls by removing a bunch of leaves and tiny branches down low and immediately threw them out of the apartment. Thrips don't like it humid, and since the buds are still tiny, I don't need to worry about botrytis yet, so I cranked up the humidity into the high 70s to low 80s. Finally, I ordered a bunch of lacewing larvae that will get here next week. They should eat the thrips and any spider mites that I might not have been able to find. ------------------------------ D63. The girls have slowed their stretch, BUT they are still stretching somewhat. I freaked out when I opened the tent today and saw they were taller, so I attacked them immediately and super-cropped the highest tops. I will switch out the lights next week, gaining me another few centimeters, which I hope will be enough. The VPD in the tent is way off, but I'm more interested in figuring out the light and getting rid of the thrips. Finally, I watered each girl with 2.5 liters of water L pH 6.1, with 10 ml humic acid and 5 ml Fermented Fruit Juice I made a few months ago. ------------------------------

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Flush the water once, the rest will be watered.

Not giving them Any nutrients now until chop which should be in a few days. Seeing lots of amber on the Royal Gorilla, not so much on the Green Gelato, but still present in small amounts. 2 days until 10 weeks total flowering. Letting the plants fall and rest on the side of the tent isnt ideal, but its the only way i could have saved them from the heat. Check out my stardawg diary for what heat can really do to a plant....gonna upload another week soon and there is HUGE damage to the plant that didnt auto. These smell lovely anyway, cant wait to try them!

FD57 - We're at the start of the ninth week of flower. Everything is just coasting along this late in flower, and there isn't much to do except check trichomes. I'm seeing less clear and more cloudy and amber, and I estimate that chop day is one, mayyyyyybe two weeks away. The RH is the tent has dropped somewhat to mid-high 50s. It is still higher than what I prefer at the end of flower but should hopefully be ok. I turned up the circulation fan to increase air movement and make it more difficult for botrytis to take root. D63 - End of the ninth week of flower and I'm debating whether to chop tomorrow or wait another week until I get home from a trip. Decisions, decisions...
