Day 78. that’s all she wrote folks. Mainely really hit t out of the park with this plant. I’m always so impressed with his genetics. She was dongly. Beautiful dense nugs and beautiful colors. Really happy to watch her dry out and see how she smokes. ♥️♥️

This week I had to harvest the main cola of one plant (the trichomes were all white with some amber). Actually the plant didn’t appear ready at all, because the strain continued to produce white pistils. Results are 93 grams (before drying)

Nothing to crazy didn’t really want to run Athena. But i popped little to soon! Should order other stuff soon. But here goes a run of Athena hoping to have as little hypocritical acid as I can

Day 57: #1 has been successfully transplanted to a 10gal smartpot. We used ocean forest soil and happy frog mixed at a ratio of 1:3. It has higher p&K and were getting ready for flower Day 59: #2 is still in the 3gal pot of happy frog. She isn't showing any signs of nutrient deficiency or stress and because of size restrictions I think I'll leave her in this pot. Day 61: watered with real growers recharge today. 1st time watering since transplanting #1. And she seemed to be okay. We have decided to start watering every day and not for run off.i cant get a good routine and sometimes they get bone dry. So to avoid that we will water a couple cups every day and allow 36hrs of drought 1x a week. Day 63: Pulled the girls out for a photo OP tonight 😁 also we watered #2. Then we did a mild defoliation because the new optic 8+ arrived today!!! The entire tent is set for flower!! I will be starting flower tomorrow morning and also be taking clones from these girls as well so we can get some good info logged on how the Choc mint clones too! Buds are already getting nice and dense. Thick coat of trichomes is already glistening. Flower production has been very on point! Very hardy colas flying off these girls. Very excited for this one. I reduced the nitrogen dose again. I also stopped giving them vigorous. Its a pure bloom mix now as these ladies are booming with flowers. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

This pheno was certainly on roids. The strain being from an autoflower just outpaced every other plant by at least 2 weeks. It produced a whopping 8 ounces. The colors gave an alien reddish purple glow as if it were from mars. The aroma was that of blueberry cacao, a totally unique chocolatey profile.

Finished my first grow. Now able to put these girls in the main tent. The light above is a Fluence Bioengineering Sypdr 2 LED (648 watts approx.). Moved the girls into 5 gallon equivalent airpots. Using Roots Organics Orginal Soil for the whole grow. Newberry was a male plant, so he was terminated. Neem oil is used as a foliar spray for possible pest. Topped all the girls, as they seem to be bouncing back nicely from the supercropping. Won’t be doing anymore major stressing, going to let them veg a couple more weeks. Stay tune

Made it to harvest w 2 so far! Oozecake is a couple extra days. Boy she tastes amazing! Will ice her tomorrow and put her in 48 hrs of dark before I harvest. What an experience it has been! Can’t wait to try after the cure.

Realized when I setup the soil that I forgot to give it a good soak and allow to sit for 24 hours. It's just straight out of the bag and I feel like I'm not watering them enough.
