After I repotted the plants, they grew really well and healthily for 12 days. Now they are showing iron deficiency again... I already had the problem before repotting. The pH value of the earth has fallen again to 4.8 to 5.7. This time I used biodegradable braids to germinate. I believe that this is the reason for the PH fluctuations in the soil. Every time I water I measure the PH and adjust it to 6 - 6.5. Nevertheless, the PH value drops back to 4 to 5. I'm trying to correct the problem. I also work with neemoil because I can't get rid of the trips

This week went well. No issues and the Snak plant grew 2 inches this week. She looks healthy and strong. I will be doing a little more research on topping this strain. I have never grown anything from Mosca Seeds. I don't know this strain well so I want to know if it will be tall and thing or short and bushy or something in-between before I decide if I should top her o not.

she's a beast and has grown really tall just hoping the buds will fill out in the next few weeks, I grew this strain a while back but it looked completley different to this and was half the size, maybe that was because it was grown in soil ??

This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/1- Week Seven of vegetation for the two 'Testers' from Dutch Passion/SSSC and they are both taking off with vigorous growth! I have started to include TPS Plant Foods Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae/Beneficial Bacteria to my top dresses to give the plants some extra resilience to the heat that will be coming soon. I've had great success using this combination which really helps with heat stress and can also help to prevent other issues, such as disease and fungus attacks! 6/3- I have upped my waterings to daily, and am now giving the 'Testers' 2g of water a day, along with weekly Compost Teas. 6/5- I topped both plants side branches today, as well as removing some lower small shoots and lower shade leaves to help direct energy to the upper sections where it will needed most. 6/7- Well fam, there goes Week Seven of veg, the weather is getting hotter by the day and these two beautiful girl continue to explode with growth! #4 phenotype has been selected as the winner phenotype out of the 12! I've begun my "regular scale" grow in my 3x3 tent, using four similarly healthy rooted clones! I used my hand as a wedge to separate moistened soil, to then gently position the roots down into the soil. The soil was then gently pressed around the roots, and generously watered. The plan is to train out these plants for 1 month, to different shapes (node amounts) too see which shape yields the highest amount of top quality. I will lightly feed, as usual. Next run is when I will start pushing nutrients.. The comparison is important to me.

When the tropic is part there is to be afraid. She knows she's fast and she grows rapid, maybe I made her fade a little but now we'll take it right away. Tropicanna is a baby that i redo soon.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. Would love to give nute measurements but in my situation, using dry. Here we are, in our forever home in the middle of my city buried deep in plain site. Will che k again the week after Easter, this weekend and then again in June. Can’t visit to often in my way. Be able to walk or bike to spot, prep, plant, leave 😕

Well, that day has come, the girl would have been really different if not for the high temperature, strong light, and a huge lack of potassium :( well, everything will be fine next time :) live and learn :) I am satisfied with the result, which is what I need :) got 200 gr of liquid :) gathered a lot of sugar leaf :) they are already in the sweet shop :D I will make an addition!! good growth and success :)

Week 12 over! Cant believe how fast this last 3 months has gone! My 6 ladies are powering on and just keep getting bigger and bigger. They have had 2 nute feeds this week and now 2 flush feeds. Planning on going with a 10 day flush. I will continue to upload pictures throughout the week as I'll be asking for a experienced opinion on when to chop. So far I'm seeing literally 1 or 2 amber trichs on the biggest of the 6 but no anywhere else. I'm thinking this is a good sign that my target of cropping next Sunday is still on track. That would be exactly 13 weeks. Buds are looking so so dense. Hard to get a photo that does them justice but the biggest colas are 75mm thick!
