This week was all about letting her recover from the cloning. Sadly most clones I took did not made it. Just 2 survived my inexperience hands. The good news is that miss Daisy it's doing so well I may be able to give it another try before flipping to flower. I have no rush for this harvest so will probably give it a try. After the cloning and some extra pruning she recovered in no time. Our Calmag arrived on day 28. All the ladies were immediately cast. On day 30, the plants looked better, but were still lacking. We therefore applied a foliar fertilizer which hopefully helped as an immediate solution.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la quinta semana de floración de estas Frosty tooth de Seedstockers, aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 5 ejemplares seleccioné los 3 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, el fotoperiodo a 12/12, aplique una poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, las plantas ya empezaron a tricomar, una locura. Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!

Day 29: Hi all , hope we are all well.?. The Expert ladies have been working hard this week on their figures and have been daily pushed to do a little more. The Mimosa has not skipped a beat with her injury amd thankfully her 5th node has survived. I won't push this node too much as it is very weak still as it repairs. The rest of her nodes and leaf have been woven to the shape she is now in order to keep all the remaining tips in their own space for light. I also nipped out the tiny 1st nodes on each branch to save them being given energy they won't get to benefit from later. She is looking nice and healthy at this point too with no signs of any issues. Glueberry is also more than happy to work with me on her l.s.t . Her main stem is really thickening up and getting less bendable as the days pass. I will keep her held over similar to a mainline style of grow too. Lots of potential in this girl too. I did water them both with about 3L between them and got the pots dampening ready for a real soak in the next few days. Keep safe and well until next update.

E sufrido una baja esta semana y fue de una green poison, todo lo demás salió adelante tan solo 1 no quiso tirar , amarilleo y acabó cayendo. Por lo demás esta todo fenomenal tienen un verde sano, solo hay que ver las fotos. . El ph esta en5,8 , la temperatura es óptima, en 22/24 grados de media, y la humedad la reduci un poco actualmente está entre el 60/70%. . Grew like an animal I reccomend giving it a shot. The high is similar to the northern express strain but a little more potent. Calms you down relaxes but doesnt lock you in to the couch. Taste like hashish. Updated with a video of some nugs I still have left. After the cure this has become a crowd favorite from my indica selection. Feedback has been hard hitting and long lasting, for most good for any time of day. Impressed mostly by the denseness of the nugs. The smell remained earthy and woody with notes of citrus. All around great producer and a quality product.

Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.
