This method has worked well for me! ------------------------------------------------------------------- 04/02/2025 I’ve transferred the seeds to the paper towel method! Now it's time to Pot preparation! For my pots, I use a three-layer method, filling each layer while shaping them with different-sized pots: - First layer: Super Soil - Second layer: Regular fertilized soil (BatMix by Plagron in this case) - Third layer: A light soil with mycorrhizae (Seeding Soil by Plagron) ------------------------------------------------------------------- #05/02/2025 I’ve planted the seeds! I'm using a cheap LED light from Amazon just to kickstart germination and gain a few extra days to finish flowering the plants in my tent. As soon as they sprout, I'll transfer them to the tent, where my old but fantastic Electric Sky 180W is waiting for them! ------------------------------------------------------------------- #08/02/2025 Two of them have already germinated, but one still hasn’t. I’m struggling with low temperatures, as it's been only 12°C during the day and between 3°C and 7°C at night. Unfortunately, I had a bit of bad luck—my lamp fell onto the pot, disturbing the soil and seeds of two plants. One of them is the one that hasn’t germinated yet. Just in case, I’ve put two more seeds in the paper towel method as backups. If I don’t need them, I’ll give them to a friend! 🙂 ------------------------------------------------------------------- #10/02/2025 I placed them in the tent on the 10th. Two of them germinated on the 8th, while the other was affected by the lamp falling. YO!!!! Back to start another diary thanks to Royal Queen Seeds and James. Big thanks for hooking me up again with another fire selection of seeds. I’m rolling the dice with this grow as the temps are not ideal but I’m running low 😂 Started the germination off today so I’ll come back and update once they have popped there little heads above ground. Peace to all and again a big shout to James over there at RQS ✌️✌️ All seeds are up and in the tent. Let’s see how they go ✌️

Today marks the end of the seventh week for my cannabis plant, and things are looking fantastic! The buds are developing beautifully, swelling up with each passing day. It's incredible to see how much they've grown in such a short time. The first trichomes are starting to appear.🌱💚 I'm also happy to report that the nematodes have done their job effectively. The plant is much healthier now, bouncing back from any issues it had before. I'm feeling optimistic as I watch it recover and flourish. I can't wait to see how the buds develop further as we head into the final stages!💚

Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Take 3 10th February 2022 Another Great week of flowering weather , even tho the daytime temps reach 40c the plants seem to be thriving 😀 with this one in particular 👌 I have not needed to add anything to this soil I made which goes to show that I made it almost perfectly this time around. One major difference to this lot is that I grew a crop of sweet corn in it last summer , followed by a full bed of leafy green vegetables such as Spinach , Kale , Silverbeet , Lettuce and Chard. I am now seeing the first signs that the girls need more but I am still waiting for the Guano to arrive 😏 Despite this She is cruising along really well and I predict a harvest in about 7 weeks . I think it’s about flushing time for Gorilla Zkittlez. She stinks up the whole room. Carbon filter ain’t cutting it. Lol Gorilla Cookies on the other hand is getting huge. I think she should pull some nice weight. She’s stacking up trichromes and starting to smell pretty good. A weird smell but it’s good. Idk how to explain it. 😎 That’s all till next week. 🤙🏽💪🏽

🌱 VEGETATIVE (4 weeks) The Runtz seed, placed in a root-riot cube within a DWC net pot, successfully sprouted by day 4, under an 18/6 light cycle (50W at 50cm). The first week saw the seedling establish itself, with roots extending into the DWC reservoir. During the second week, despite slightly low humidity and temperature, the seedling demonstrated robust and rapid growth. Light intensity was increased to 75W. Towards the end of this week, I removed the first set of true leaves as they were growing too close to the substrate. The third week marked a noticeable increase in the plant's water uptake (1 LT/day), which prompted me to raise the nutrient solution's EC to 1.0. The plant showed significant development while maintaining a compact stature – a trait I appreciated. In the fourth and final week of vegetation, as odors began to emerge, I installed a carbon filter, raised the EC to 1.2, keep the pH in the right range and boosted the light intensity further to 150W. By the end of this phase, the plant was bushy, compact (21 cm height), and healthy. 🌸 FLOWERING (8 weeks) For the first week I switched the light cycle to 12/12 and introduced a new nutrient solution adding Power Buds to the mix. During the second week I was impressed to see preflowers clearly visible as early as day 10 of flowering. So, during the third week I made a substantial defoliation session to manage the plant's increasing bushiness, which I knew would be crucial for later-stage light penetration and humidity control. In the fourth week I introduced a PK 8/9 booster, Green Sensation, thereby increasing the phosphorus and potassium concentration in the solution, water consumption around 3 LT/day. Towards the end of the week, I performed another significant defoliation, including the removal of lower, light-starved branches, to which the plant responded well. During the fifth week the stretching phase concluded, with the plant reaching its final height of 69cm. Its focus shifted to bud development, and the foliage began to adopt a darker hue. At this point, my role was primarily to maintain stable environmental parameters and a correct pH in reservoir. During the sixth week buds were visibly swelling daily, the plant remained in excellent health, and resin production became more pronounced. For the seventh week I implemented a change in feeding, completely cutting the nitrogen from the DWC solution, using only Green Sensation at a higher concentration. In the eighth and final week of flowering (week 12 overall), I performed a complete DWC reservoir change. I filled it with plain tap water and maintained this for 4 days leading up to harvest. On day 56 of flowering (84 from seed), the Runtz plant appeared perfectly ready. The buds were dense and glistening, pistils mostly browned and retracted, and trichomes displayed a good mix of milky and some amber. Immediately after harvesting her, I removed the fan leaves, deciding to dry these as well due to their remarkable resin content. ✅ DRYING The entire plant was hung to dry inside the grow box, which was kept completely dark with constant, gentle air circulation for 8 days. The average VPD during this period was maintained around 1.2 (approximately 20°C and 50% RH). Once this drying period was complete, I trimmed off all the sugar leaves. These resinous sugar leaves will be combined with the already dried fan leaves and larf buds, and I plan to use them to make cannabutter for edibles. ⚖️ Dry weight After the 8-day drying period, and once all the remaining small leaves and branches were removed from the buds, I weighed the final product: The harvest yielded: - 150 grams of dense buds and 5 grams of finger hash. For edibles: - 30 grams of larf and a large amount of fan and sugar leaves. ✅ CURING For the curing process, the dried buds were placed in a large, airtight glass jar. This jar was stored in a dark location within a room maintaining a stable temperature of around 20°C for a total of 45 days. The burping schedule was as follows: Day 1-7: twice daily for 10 min. Day 8-10: once daily for 10 min. Day 11-14: every other day for 10 min. Day 15-21: every 3 days for 10 min. Day 22-30: every 4 days for 10 min. Day 31-45: No burping. 📑 SMOKE REVIEW - At 15 days cured a vegetal note is still quite present and the smoke is a bit harsh, typical for a short cure. The effects are already pleasant and potent, very promising. - After 30 days of curing, the Runtz has improved considerably. The vegetal smell has mostly faded, giving way to a much more defined sweet and fruity fragrance reminiscent of candy and berries. The smoke is noticeably smooth, euphoric effects are dominant. - At 45 days, Runtz has expressed its full potential and is now perfectly cured for daily enjoyment. The aroma is intense and complex, an explosive mix of sweet candy and tropical notes. The effects are potent, starting with an uplifting cerebral euphoria that evolves into a pleasant body relaxation, without leading to couch-lock. 🍕 I also made cannabutter which I used to finish a risotto. The result was insane – both the risotto itself and the potency of the cannabutter were exceptional!

4 semana de floración. Se están formando las flores en las puntas y a lo largo de los brazos, empece a aplicar abono de floración pero en bajas dosis, conforme la planta vaya creciendo y necesite mas nutrientes voy a ir subiendo la dosis, quiero evitar a toda costa la sobre fertilización que ha sido mi principal problema y obstáculo en cultivos anteriores. De momento las plantas crecen muy bien. Esta semana voy a aplicar un preventivo para hongos foliares y bichos chupadores (trips, cuanto los odio!). Disculpen la calidad de las fotos, mi cámara no es muy buena.

Today no watering maybe some defoliation below the net but that it cool beans 😎 Day 9 Flowering phase Didn't see the plant for 20hours and jebus they grew over night they went up 15cm . But they are looking healthy Gave them almost 1.2L nutrients was getting dry that was it . Day 10 flowering phase Today adjust some things in the tent it didn't feel a right not to happy with tents quality 🤔 also it's very challenging to get to back corner plant. I need to fully open the tent. There are no peak holes ore other opening to get to the back . And it feels unstable. The Plants i only did some final defoliation and gave 0.5l normal water Day 11 flowering phase Plants looking okay to me. Didn't water them today want to let them dry out some . I think because of all the watering i am Struggling with the humidity in the tent . It is around 80% and that little dehumidifier don't do jack patetoe . Def need to think of a solution for later in the weeks Day 12 Flowering phase Gave nuts water and put a 2nd ScrOG up a little higher . I have here and there play around a bit but they seem to not be having problems with that . Advanced Nutrients is getting 10/10 for me Day 14 Flowering phase Week 2 of flowering phase complete It was a learning week for me . Got bit scared how they grow 15 cm in a day . But it's seems to be oké i got still some real estate left. I think that i am not giving them any water what so ever . I need to learn to let them dry out some . Also a bit struggling with humidity in the tent . I am trying to give them water right before light on ore right after light out . PAR PPFD 450 I hope my plants will fill out the 0,9 m2 grow tent in the last 2 weeks of veg. It would be so nice and make me so proud trying to achieve that in my first grow!! I really think that good equipment (AC Infinity, Spider Farmer), good nutrients (Plagron) and lot's of watching on YouTube and reading in blogs will pay off at the end.. And of course the determination willing to do the very best I can, each day, for 4 months, will give me even more pleasure in my new hobby and hopefully more product at the finish line. 👊

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. All same strain but growing differently due to different environments. Humidity issues resolved with dehumidifier. Runt had to be pruned and still so many buds. Single GG in tent is short and stocky ... Nice crystals. They smell wonderful.

As per usual this plant tells me it needs watering by looking limp, it doesn't mean the pots are dry it just means its demanding more water. We're gunna need a bigger tent!
