I had a medical emergency in the family, which caused quite a bit of chaos. There’s not much to report — her flowers are getting bigger and bigger. The smell is really special and intense! It looks like senescence is starting. She has lost some color in her leaves and is now turning more yellow. Just to be safe, I added a small amount of Epsom salt. And of course, there are still problems: The fungus gnats are still around, although there are far fewer than before. I’d say their numbers are down by about 80% compared to the peak, so at least some progress has been made. I’m still fighting them and have ordered more predatory mites. Unfortunately, I also noticed some leaves that didn’t look good, so I took a closer look. The result: I found thrips on both plants. It doesn’t look like a full-blown infestation yet, so I hope I can get it under control. The predatory mites should help, and I’ve also ordered some green lacewing larvae to support the fight and hopefully wipe them out. This whole situation is really frustrating. I recently had to deal with thrips on one of my biggest Alocasias, and I’ve been battling a persistent aphid infestation on my largest Dieffenbachia for weeks now. I’ve never had this many issues with pests before.

Punch Pie in Flower, stretching nice and doing great, the topping helped to slow down the main stem and spread the plant a bit. Now its just time to wait for some nice top colas to form. I cleaned the bottom of the plant up a bit just like the others to make sure we got good airflow in the areas with less light to avoid problems. Still no fertilizer just living Soil by Sonnenerde.

Fed compost tea on Wednesday with added Bio Pk. She is still really bulking up and throwing out new pistils everywhere. She will be getting harvested shortly, first I will be chopping Stilton Special then Toof Decay then following that it’ll be Stilton.

I did her first water change on day 10 upped the nutrient dose and increased the reservior to 12 gallons. Gave her the first dose of armor si and humic acid. I topped her on day 12 to start 4 main branches. Will most likely top again and start training in about a week depending on how she wants to grow. The goal is a maximum of 5 weeks veg if they cooperate. Of the 6 strains she is a little faster than the rest so far. They are under 240w qb and a galaxyhydro pulling about 140w for now. Will be adding more qb when I spread the buckets out.

Plants started growing very fast. 20 hours light a day and 140 ml water for 2 plants so 35 ml each plant. (70ml -35ml one plant- morning, and 70ml -35ml one plant evening). From Monday I will start giving 200ml water 100ml in the morning and then the rest in the evening. Ventilation almost 24 hours, They are getting bushy and the color looks healthy green. I am excited. Purple Punch ( the right one) does not have the smell but the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe started smelling from the 3rd week, it is not strong, it is smooth, enjoyable. I still use trigger spray but I stopped triggering directly on the plant to avoid any fungee or toxicity, I just keep the soil moist. I surrounded them with kitchen foil around the lamp to have a more effective light. It reflects the light and the light goes everywhere. This step has been done because I have only the 60w LED each plant so I try to provide the maximum strength this way, and by keeping close distance also. The lamp is not hot so it ain't gonna burn the plant I had checked it before. I just purchased today a 600w LED because these plants look so good so I wanna provide the best circumstances for them. 4th-week 4th day I a just waiting for my delivery my 600 W grow LED light will come. From today I started watering with 50ml each plant 2 times a day so all together 200ml a day. Plus I always use trigger spray for the soil to be kept wet. They are looking better and better. Nice color and bushy appearance. Wonderful. I realized some holes on the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe's leaf but there is no insect I was checking. I do not really know the reason for that. Tonight I will set up the new 600 W LED so I am changing the current 120W. Big Step forward! It is not that easy that I thought, the lamp is great but the temperature raised up a lot, so needed to buy a fan also and the humidity went down. It is not easy to find the proper solution to be acceptable, good temperature and humidity at the same time. So I decided to program a 6/2 schedule, so 6 hours light on and the fan always with 15 min more, and 2 hours off so I do provide 18 hours light and 6 hours darkness but it is divided. The plants can rest after every six hours and use the energy they received. Last day of the 4th week, LST has been done with the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe, both are growing rapidly, let's see what the 5th week brings! End of he week Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 25cm, Purple Punch is 20cm😇

Hello everyone! I have been off the platform for a while since the plants were just loving their life. I went on a small trip and came back seeing that the plants seem to have entered the flowering phase. For now I can count 7 buds starting to form on my main plant, the second one seems to be a little bit behind. So I am kind of uncertain on what to do next, should I trim? Should I change to a bigger plant container because they are still in their original? Hopefully someone could give me some advice on what to do next? I will include a video showing the healthiest plant. Thanks in advance, cheers!

Update of the garden

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great week. The Glueberry OG is doing well, but it has been a struggle dealing with the heat and humidity in my region during late flower. I have 2 full size basement dehumidifiers running 24X7 and am able to maintain between 42-48% RH in the tent, however the tent is running between 68-80 degrees F, and I would definitely prefer slightly cooler. It is also a bitch to empty both humidifiers twice a day to prevent them from filling up and shutting off. I could build a reservoir and run lines, but I am just done flowering in the summertime, although I said the same thing in summer 2021. I was hoping to harvest her on 4th of July of Weekend, however her trichomes are just not ready. She is literally covered in triches, but not seeing any amber on the colas, just a couple on the leaves. So I will giver her at least another week, and hopefully harvest the following weekend. I check the trichomes every day or two and my new plan is hopefully to start the flush by the 4th depending on the trichomes and harvest the following weekend. Since I am harvesting 3 plants, if I can't get them all trimmed in a day, I plan to just go lights off for the next few days and have an auto or two still in the tent auto feeding on water only, while the Glueberry OG starts to dry, and then harvest the other's in the next couple of days. I figure as long as everything is in complete darkness, and the temp and humidity are stable, it should be fine, as some people swear by a darkness period anyways, although I have never tried it. If anyone has any experience/advice with this hit me up! I am trying to stay patient with this lady, but I am super excited to harvest her. Her Colas just started falling to the floor of the tent yesterday as they continue to pack on weight, Fortunately I saw it via Wyze Cam and was able to tie them up before they reached the floor. This lady smells absolutely amazing, this lady reaks of earthy diesel, and juicy fruit...Super excited to smoke and squeeze some of these nugs. The Glueberry OG Auto is the second auto I have run by Dutch Passion, the other was their Auto Blueberry which was a MASSIVE plant. I definitely prefer Photos as I enjoy mainlining etc, but as far as autos go, I have not seen any stronger genetics than Dutch Passion. I don't want to speculate on a final weight, but she has 12 mains, and I am estimating each main will be in the 1-2 zip range, and that's not even counting all the side branches. I know some people lollipop all the lower branches, but I will be happy to turn the lowers into half melt, canna-sugar,, bubble hash, full melt, rosin, etc. I am still running the Medic Grow Spectrum X at 100% in the F1 mode and running the UV/IR bar for 120 minutes prior to lights off. So far I am super pleased with this light, for the amount of PAR she puts out, she definitely runs cool comparatively to other LED's. Hi growers! Milkyway has started forming very hard flowers covered with trichomes and the smell of the flower is really amazing!

Day 42 to 49 We are getting closer to an end. Is the second time I’m growing purple genetics and I can say that somehow look to be faster to finish their life cycle; I think the next week will be the beginning of flushing, so I will just give water at PH 6.5, without any fertilizers, till the end which I believe will be around day 65. Let me know what’s your experience with purple genetics and of course if you have some tips! Cheers 🍻
