Major defoliation/ lollipoping that happened this week right on day 20 my main concern was looking for more hermies (due to stem cracks from lst) and also cut out any lower branches that where going to make larfy buds. I only cut up the branches untill the point that the budsites where at least a nice pistil cluster (10and up ) some branches got a good 6-7 inches shaved off some more like 2-3 just depends on the plant with so much variety. Also my plants are like touching the lights it just wont let me mark less then 4inches i have the ability to raise my light another 2inches so i will definitely be doing that. For now i have the taller branches off to the sides so the can outgrow the light without burning. Smells finally starting to come in with more gassy earth coming from DD and devine chocolate GG4 smell coming from the mellows Still see some nitrogen toxicity not sure if should cut all nutes in half considerIng week three biogrow increases to 3ml/L

D50 - 11.2 - Everything is going great! They are drinking a lot more as expected. Decided we continue vegging for another week or two. **Very curious if super soil growers ever come across any deficiencies? You can see a couple lower fan leaves I removed today. I'm sure leaf loss to some extent is natural, but I read that the lower leaves are your indicators, so I wanted to run these by yall to see if you suspect and deficiencies cropping up.** Seriously, I appreciate everyone hear so much! Thanks for checking out my grow! 👽🙏 D52 - 11.4 - They loved the foliar spray I made, treated right at lights out yesterday. Heck watering these, even with my gravity fed tube is such a pain haha. I don't have good access except from the front, due to this giant black box being crammed into my bedroom, so I have to spray across the tent kinda in plank straddling plants using pressure from my thumb and forefinger and HECK! Everything will be easier when 4 of them get sploit off into the 3x3 but I already got my eye on some blumats for next grow haha Anyway, I've never found a hobby so enriching. I look in my tents and see these babies praying and it's just the most content I've ever felt. I've loved plants since I was a kid and always had had bonsai trees, bamboo and vines in my bedroom window. I felt the pull to grow a decade ago but prohibition in my state and some very unsympathetic ‘rents made that impossible. My dad actually burned my hps lights and DIY aeroponics box in a bon fire before they every got to be used. So this is a dream I’ve been patiently waiting to become a reality. As much as I love cannabis and benefit from its medicinal use, I’m finding the grow grounding and therapeutic. I feel like I’m getting to express a part of myself I haven’t before and it’s a joy.

Alright! This week is finally done and this will be the last vegetative growth week for the plants. Switching to flower tonight :D I have done some defoliation and a bit of lollipopping to the 3 plants, I was noticing the shadows where quite dark on the tent floor and the plants where not crazy tall so they needed to be managed, If I was outdoors I would just LST them some more and not worry about any of it but indoors the airflow is tight and it was needed, cleaning up the undercanopy was none negotiable or some bad things would have happened in flower. Mainly molds or worse WPM. I also removed the string supports I has on the plants when they broke from some LST I did a few weeks ago. In the stripping down of the plants I removed a lot of lower immature growths and took out some immature branches, I have all these sitting in a glass of water and will clone them out for shits and giggles, I think their is about 15 of them or more, maybe I will go and plant them aorund my neighbourhood in municipal planters. Plus now I can work in the topdressings that will be required in the upcoming weeks to keep these plants happy and healthy. Going to continue amending in some of the bokashi in the feedings as well as worm castings as they give off a nice ammount of microbes for the soil. I wish I had some of my LABs for this grow but I did not make any. The clones from before are doing fine, just did not take any pics of them. The butterwort is doing a fantastic job of eating up the gnats. I have some nematodes on hand for when its had its fill as I won't want them getting into the flowers as they ripening. Big shoutout to Medic Grow for sponsoring the lighting in my tent, They have provided me with 2x Mini Sun 2's in the 240w configuration, They use the v1 growing spectrum that is a all purpose seed to harvest spectrum so their is no hassle of switching it mid grow. 2024-07-23 A few months ago, I germinated three opium poppy seeds. Each seedling was given a different setup: 1. Outdorgrow in a 30L container 2. Outdoorgrow in a 75L container 3. Indoorgrow in a 30L Airpot This post focuses on the indoor plant, which was trained using various techniques such as mainlining, topping, LST (Low Stress Training), and some supercropping. The indoor plant thrived from the beginning, showing vigorous and healthy growth. It responded well to training, consistently displaying a robust appearance. Its growth seemed effortless, requiring only adequate water and minimal nutrients. Training began with topping and continued for 9 weeks during the vegetation phase. The main technique used was mainlining, shaping the plant into a circle using pipe cleaners. The plant's soft stems and branches made it easy to train without causing stress. After 9 weeks of vegetative growth and training, I was satisfied with the result and initiated the flowering phase. The plant continued to flourish, primarily needing water and care. Only a few NPK feedings were necessary, but it received many beneficial supplements with watering. The growing medium used was Terra Preta MJ-Mix, and I applied a mycorrhizal inoculant called DYNOMYCO. This significantly enhanced root development and nutrient breakdown. Essentially, And i applied aTodpressing with Insectfrass, so they stayed lovely green. I was feeding the microorganisms in the Terra Preta mix, which in turn kept the plant healthy. The plant developed beautiful colas while maintaining its circular shape. Harvesting was straightforward. The aroma was fruity (reminiscent of apricot) with a strong, gassy undertone. The buds are currently curing. I've taken photographs of the plant's "skeleton" and some pre-cured buds, showcasing the impressive trichome development. The OutdoorPlants are still growing, and the Diary will continue

Hello Canna Fam, Firstly thank you for stopping past and having a look at my grow🤜🏼🤛🏼 Today marks the start of week 8 and some of the ladies are slowly frosting up. The 2 Gorilla Glues which have been a bit behind in growth have finally stretched and started to flower officially. There is still along way for the 2 and they may flower for up to 15 weeks if I look at other diaries with a similar delayed growth. Today is the start of spring here in sunny South Africa 🇿🇦 and as things warm up we should hopefully get better growth. Thanks again for stopping by and happy growing y’all✌️🏼

GMO (Garlic mushroom onion) was slow to flower but came on strong weeks 8 and 9 to produce some dense heavy sticky buds. The dry weight of the plant material is unsure, but I’ll report the weight of various bubble microns when dry. Pictures of the dry bubble and maybe a melt shot impending! To dry, I decided to microplane into pizza boxes lined with parchment. It’s been fun growing along with everyone on grow diaries. Awesome

The 34 street seed Cookies had Lot’s of LST and training this week! The girls did very well overall after being topped, and have recovered very nicely. I also finished up my drying my last harvest, so after a cleanup session, my big tent was ready to go again! This week was pretty easy, just watching the girls and adjusting the ties to keep the side branching going. I like to come in regularly and bend and twist the shoots between my fingers encouraging healthier stems. While I’m in there I’ll adjust the wire ties a bit to keep things even. After 2-3 days with the tie downs on, I’ll take them off and let the plant recover. With the environment dialled in at 79 degrees and 63% RH, it’s giving me a VPD of 1.0-1.1 , great for optimal growth. 💪 I think I am going to split the girls up, 4 (2 of eachin the one tent, 2 in my small tent, both with a Scrog in place. I’ll be transplanting this weekend, It won’t be long before these girls are ready for flower, October is a busy month for me so I may wait until the beginning of November to switch to flower light timing. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

58 Days have passed in flower. Cheese left, Gorilla Girl right. The "Just water no pH" experiment has failed me around week 5 of flower. I have not done anything to keep the soil biology alive so thats probably the issue. Its all good though, it was fun while it lasted and definitely worth a try. I have let the soil dry as much as possible and then i watered in a tablespoon molasses per gallon water. pH'd to 6.6. I just need atleast 3-7 more days of flower and hopefuly the buds will mature a little more. I took a snip of the bottom leafs to check for trichomes maturity, those are the weakest of trichomes on the plants. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎

This week I continued removing lower leaves that were getting little to no light. I tied down lower branches to ensure them getting blasted with light. Buds are filling in nicely! very excited for the upcoming weeks

On day 1 the rez is at 6.2. The highest cola is 8.5" from the light. On day 2 the rez is at 6.2. The highest cola is 7.75" from the light. On day 3 the rez is at 6.1. The highest cola is 7.5" from the light. On day 4 the rez is at 6.3. The highest cola is 7.125" from the light. On day 5 the plants are smelling and doing well. On day 6 I changed out the rez and PH to 6.1. The highest cola is 7" from grow light stretch is deff slowing down and should be over shortly. My avg PPFD at canopy is around 800. On day 7 the rez ph is 6.0. The highest cola is still 7" away from light 😅 close but not too close in my small space.
