Starting to get some nice purple colours on #4 buds and Ozz leaves! Not super visible on the video but looking really good. Also had an unpleasant surprise the other morning, due to wind gusts the support went out the pot and #4 straight bent to 90 degrees. Looks like it happened around 3/4am and I only saw it around 9am, so she got pretty roughened up but no actual damage to report. Same for Dorel, a brush fell on a lower branch but didn’t break anything. The learning here as it is the second time it happens, both time just before I water them: I suspect drier medium is less efficient in holding the plant when there is a lot of wind. Well well! In just 2 days she went from little purple to actually the whole plant changing color. Curious to see where it’ll go!

***I’m not sure why but it’s only letting me put 100 growing plants, but I actually harvested 180 plants in three separate rooms of about 300 sqfeet almost each, running in at 350 g per plant *** Given her being my first grow, I don’t really have anything to compare to but me and my plants have gone through a lot this year. Definitely going to need filters with this one, for the strong scent. 10 out of 10 would recommend this strain. I tried some fish fertilizer through some of the early growth and everytime I did, I would notice the plants beginning to burn so I completely stopped it, I learned organic is the best way to go if I’ll ever be using fertilizer again. This is the only way I would’ve learned it through experience! I didn’t think I can make it all the way through with my harvest, but ever since I got on Growdiaries everybody has helped me tremendously with every question I had, without the site my whole to harvest would’ve went to shit along time ago. Haha I really can’t thank my Growmies here enough for all their support. Every time I thought about giving up I would have uplifting comments assuring me my plants we’re doing fine. A message to all nee growers. Don’t be afraid of failure. Ask questions. I don’t know when my next grow will be but when, or if I decide to grow again, I’ll definitely document it on the best possible weed growing platform. Cheers friends!

This week I decided to introduce nutrition. I am new to this so i went for organic (from what I've read) bio bizz and is also readily available at my local grow shop thankfully haha my first run so I halved the recommended amounts more or less as I didn't was to burn the plants as they are still young.

Mintz Runtz automatic is doing good, I should of changed the solution last update, but I did today. She is starting to form her colas, hopefully she stretches more so I can turn on the Saturn under canopy light. Everything is looking good for the most part. This week flushing the wedding cake i thought that was the problem was an excess of nutrients, but instead the water was quite clean, around 1100ppm at the first drain, after several flushes water is now on 600ppm.. It seems that the others are starting to have the same deficiency that hit wedding # 2 .. now I'm treating them with 0.5ml of cal-mag adding it to the other nutrients for once a week (except wedding # 2) I will wait for the soil to dry out, to give her only clean water since the final harvest is not long. ⚠️ UPDATE DAY 45 ⚠️ Yesterday flush for dos si dos and today flush for (wedding cake 1) they are having a nutrient lockout too..😪 The (wedding cake 1) is clearly healthier than her sister (wedding cake 2) by looking at her color, but unfortunately she had excessive PPM / EC too.. So i did the same procedure by using only tap water, but this time added only 0,5ml of cal-mag. Water was at 6.5 ph until I got a better runoff, it went from 5.7 to 6.0 PH and from 1800 to 700-600ppm 😬 I have never thought of overdoing nutrients so much.. I will certainly learn a lot from these mistakes 🙌🏻

It is a vigorous plant with very uniform branching, high resinous and high yield, if you grow from seed there are a few different phenos that I got, equally as good

Week 2 full strength feed schedule. I change water weekly, week 3 will begin 1/20/24. Hooked water chiller up to system, works great holding water temps at 66-68 deg F. Ph bounced around but has held steady at 5.9 for 4 days now. EC is 1.2. Lights are at 50% intensity. Roots really starting to show. Sorry pics and diary are a little disorganized, didn’t get diary going right away, I’ll keep up to date as week 3 begins. Humidity fluctuates and drops rapidly when the tent is opened. Put a pitcher of room temp water in with the girls to try to keep humidity up, just had a cold snap here with extreme lows! Girls are powering through no prob though 💪 As of 1/18/24 I’ll add update pics daily, also going to phase out hydroguard in favor or SoAg when it arrives in the mail. 1 8ox bottle of SoAg will make almost 50 gallons of “Hydroguard” and it’s much more effective from what I’ve been hearing from others.

Very resisant strain,grows thick colas.This strain needs a proper veg time as they are short plants.Nutes wise it's a medium to heaver feeder.

Bruce Banner #3 is doing good under the Hortibloom Solux 350. I did have to HST her due to she is getting too close to the light, and the heat from it. Everything is looking good at the moment. Nice and healthy. I do need to do a air stone change very soon. That is about all that is happening. We officially made it to week one of flower. Already noticing potassium deficiency. Even with organic dry nutrients. Advice best products to give these babies potassium.

Still not given any food at 35 days since popping. She's growing well and I've put her in a 4ltr pot. I've pinched the top out to slow down the vertical growth.

Fue una cepa muy linda de cultivar, con un buen resutlado final, cogollos equilibrados, al haber 4 plantas se presentaron distintos fenetipos en cuanto a colores, una con aroma mas dulce que otra pero ambas bien logradas, estoy conforme con el tamaño, quizas en una carpa de 1c1 se hubiese trabajado mas comodo pero al haberlo hecho en un 80x80 logre coparla al 100%.

Surf Purp Week 6 Flower The last week before flush. All nutrients apart from PK and sugars have been stopped. This brought the ppm/EC down, plus Remo Bloom was reduced slightly now they're not so hungry. With that being said I'm still using a lot more with this line than I'm used to. Only because the remo nutrients feeding chart lists them so strong, which I'm already a lot lower than. In future I'll try reducing them and see how they cope and perform, but that's just part of dialing it in to your own specific set up. Now that they're close to flush they're starting to get slightly more pale, with #2 and #4 showing some purpling too. This is because they are slowly coming to the end of their cycle, so they no longer need heavy feedings and are now eating less and beginning to cannibilise. They're all very frosty and giving off an insane amount of smell. At this point I'm more or less certain that #4 is a keeper, with the most unique terpene profile out of the 4 females. It smells like rotting candy/fruit with a lot of gas ⛽ it's also a close call between #1&2, as they're very similar to each other yet so different to #4. These two have the sweetest, most pungent smell of blueberries but with very slight differences between them that could change more throughout flush (and even after drying and curing). The keeper from these two will more than likely be decided after drying and curing. One or two of the main cola's on #4 are way too close to the light, with one top bud showing clear signs of burning. When you look closely, parts of the burns are brown as you would expect, and others are bleached white. These are both from heat and light damage, and aren't ideal. But, it's only the one bud on one plant so I'm not going to stress over it. In fact, she's smelling that incredible that you wouldn't even know! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊
