Day 136.... buds are swelling and looking nice, don’t really do much beside chill in my closet with my other plants but all in all it’s great smell and destroys all my chances of smell control, which is very little to a point of non existent

Al started flowering. Stunted plant was removed. Good health for the now 4 plants. Weather is good but very windy. All plants need support. This plant grows very well but the stem and canopy are not balanced.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. Day 105 approximately since seed touched soil. OG is purple, how i dont know ;) 2 out of 3 went to colours ... Girl need like 2-3 weeks more, will be checking every week. Bad weather is coming for next two weeks, so huge bud rot lottery . AKs is best this summers strain, stacks nicely, genetics stable. 2-3 weeks till finish. Happy Growing !!!

Day 10 of flower

Welcome home, girls!

The photos got root bound, but their growth went crazy in less than a week. If I started the autos february first I started these photos february.Fourth, these approximately have a month to date. I moved two of the fast bud mix photos out of the remaining three that survived into seven gallon pots to let them grow as big as they can.And I will flip them whenever I get a chance, and once I see how the autos are. These photos are being grown successfully in reused.Soil, while the autos in the same general area are struggling.A little bit. Because my audibles are struggling.I think I have focus to turn these photos into a better current grow.And not put these in my backyard, I have another four strains that I will plan for that. I also plan to start seedlings and give them to my cousin.So he can grow in his backyard, and I think I will create diaries for those

New Aeroponics "root rain" mist cloner! Holds 2 gallons of water. I added 8 Tsp of CloneX clone/seedling nutrient. PH was 6.0-6.5ish, good enough! These clones inside got zapped pretty hard one day, because I forgot to plug in the water pump one time after playing with it hehehe... Some didn't make it, but most survived! every other plant was watered with just de-chlorinated tap water, for re-hydration. #4 has been selected as the winning pheno! The mother plant had her home upgraded to a 2gal pot. The root ball was not so bound, due to her receiving a root-prune not too long ago, she was re-potted back into a solo cup. I pruned the bottom of the root mass off with a light pinch, and potted her into her new 2gallon home!

Wow!! It was sunny and hot all week! You can see that they almost doubled their size and are looking pretty much more healthy. That is also because I followed @MadeInGermany 's advice and decided to wait more until I had to water. They seem to have liked that, beacuse there is no more sign of Ca blocking in the leaves. And they grew very nicely, no need of everything. Also following his advice I will use Cal/Mag in the next watering. But, you know, I'm making it cheap... so I will use another home-made recipe: wood ash fertilizer, which include those nutrients and some that are needed in flowering stage -which seems to be starting, so next week will have the flowering label-. It also degrades the N in the soil that could be still causing a little overfeeding (leaves' tips are a bit burnt). However, I admit that my mistake was overwatering from the beggining. Lesson learned! No watering for the whole week and the plnat didn't seem to worry about it. Man! If only it had been this sunny all the time! Plants look very healthier and are way bigger, with huge new leaves. A little amount of pistils showed up in the last days, so I guess it is the moment for stretching. Knowing that, I decided to do a little training on Sweet, as it is the one a bit behind. You can see in the last picture how I took a couple leaves that were blocking light from side branches-future bud sites- and taped them, so they didn't. If results are good I might do the same with Rebel, but I have a feeling that she'll do good without it. Sadly, next week will be all rainy and cloudy... Nothing to do tho. Any commentary will be thanked, even if it is about how cheesy the videos are! 😂

Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

What can a say; it’s been a ride! Seven months of love, hard work and just being a good shepherd to these ladies. These giants were an incredible experience, they taught me a lot! What separates the good from the great is the ability to persevere, to be dedicated to a vocation morning noon and night, on top of the work we do for money. There were days that I was dead beat from working in the hot sun, it was a very hot summer here where I live; still I dug deep and loved these plants each and every day, and at the end it showed, and payed off completely for my efforts. It’s a bittersweet moment to harvest these illustrious and incredible plants; I sought so much therapy, purpose and love in these beautiful beings that I nurtured, they are a physical representation of my love and care, and they are beautiful beyond words; I see the product of my love manifest itself physically in these beauties. They couldn’t have made me more proud; this was a monumental grow, the kind of grow that shows you what your made of, and then blows that precedent away. I am honoured to call this crop my own 🔮💜

Today I trimmed the dried harvest! Funny enough, the smallest plant actually produced the most beautiful buds – nice and compact with a gorgeous purple color. The aroma is intense and the buds are super sticky. In total, I ended up with 244 grams dry weight from three plants, which I’m really happy with for my first indoor grow. The next run has already started – can’t wait to see how it goes this time!

Another week in the books! 📅 Red Hot Violet is still thriving — stacking leaves and holding strong 💪💚. The Amaretto Sour is still tucked in beside her, and while I haven’t separated them yet, both are adapting to the shared space surprisingly well 🤞🌿.Growth is steady, color is deep, and the canopy looks lush 🍃✨.
