Week 5. Removed the Scrog Net. I just dont like it, i give up, i hate handling the plant(s) with it. Back to good old Stake-Based LST and some defoliation. Feeding continues with 1ml/L Power Roots and 5ml/L Terra Grow. 6L, 5.9PH on Day 31. I'll see how long i can handle it before flipping her to flower. For now, im still tinkering with her way too much.

Veg day 36.- Happy girls seeing the sun for the first time. Additional soil mix is same as before. BX promix and perlite 2:1. Additional volcanic ash and worm castings. First watering was generic AB 1/4 strength, Rhizotomic and Mammoth P microbes. PH adjusted to 6.3 300ppm. Veg day 42 - after a week of wind and weather for the first time both seem to be acclimatizing well enough. A squirrel seems to like digging. Any suggestions for critter deterent?

Apollo is coming along nicely and enjoying new friends, zkittles, gorilla cookies and granddaddy purple. All autos. Godzilla cookies is the runt. D1 Increase light to 90W / Lamp Plants are ~ 45 cm, 0,75 l /day D2 Ad a fan, reorganised box. LST for the main stems. D3 Trimming the side stems from node one to three D4 Plants look fine, last day with grow fertilizer. Humidity is ~50% without humidifier, plants have more transpiration caused by more light and more leafs. More transpiration means more transport and requirement of nutrients. Light is ~ 33000 lm. D5 Today is day 35 from seeding, halftime 🙂 Training was successfull, plants are bushy. I noticed the maximum plant height in my tent is 70 cm. I stopped the stretch in height this week completly. Box is very small, 50*100*180 cm First feed with bloom fertilizer EC1,8 At the afternoon some leaf tips on the top are yellow. First sign of to much nutrients ☹️ Flushed both Ladies with 2l of Aqua dest. now i know i'm driving near the limit with nutrients at the moment. D6 Both Ladies look very good. Week 16! Week 8 of flowering. She is foxtailing on the topmost buds due to light stress. I measured 90k lux(!) at some buds, which is way too much (she got a little out of hand during the stretch, and grew way too tall) She is drinking less and less water and eating less nutrients. I think she is in the harvest window now, even though she is sprouting lots of new pistils. I will cut down and hang to dry next week, in about 5/6 days. Excited!! EDIT: BANANA ALARM Found a banana. There is probably more of them that I can't see because the lower canopy is so packed. Unsure if to harvest now or not. As it is late in flower I don't know if quality will suffer because of a few more days with herming. Opinions? EDIT II: BUD ROT As I inspected the plant today I saw a dead leaf on one of the tops, which I was able to pull right off. Turned out there was bud rot inside the bud. I cut the bud off. Will harvest later today or tomorrow.

Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

Week 18: 😅 I hope the work we put in this week, sets us up for a successful next couple weeks. We really pushed through the rest of our flower defoliation. I think we learned alot through this process. Every branch can not live on. Branches and primary growth points are two very different things. We also learned that flower and veg have different needs. I am now noticing the soil is almost bone dry in about 4/5 days, so by the 3rd day the plants need more water... This is important to note.. as we will be traveling for the holidays for the next two weeks (NOLA, HOU, RIO). May God be with us over these next few weeks. I'm glad I have a ring camera installed in the tent for times like these... but I would not recommend purchasing this camera for the purpose of a grow tent cam. Will be trying the Wyze or another type of camera for more timelapse content in the future. Will check back in later this week with pictures from my friend that will be watering for us.

About 3weeks left.. No problems after Nitrogen and some P deficiencies.. As a new grower best things I have picked up is not be afraid to make mistakes do tons of research and testing nutrients on a separate dummy plant, have fun patience and learn everyday.

First week in buckets doin well i think but dont know for this is just my first grow

She smells and looks amazing! I’ll have to dry and cure before I taste, but the aroma she’s putting off is that of a deep berry smell with some serious lemony diesel undertones. I love it so much, her trichs are thick, and almost all cloudy, (I opted for a bit of an early harvest because I have surgery tomorrow) resin production is off the charts, just lightly touching the buds while they’re still on the plant left my fingers sticking together. Big ups to Fastbuds Genetics for this cultivar. Definitely gonna be a restock soon.
