Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. Best grow yet!!! These ilgm og kush are a little fickle butas long as the ph is good and you start early on the cal mag and don't overfeed these ladies will treat you good!!

Progredindo e engordando aos.poucos !o fedo de gamba ta grande!mais resolvido com.um.filtro de ar da ghp de 125mm !essa proxima semana vou dar 2 ml de remo magnifical em 1 litro e meio de agua para elas, parece que estaocom falta de um pouco de calcio e mg, ja que faz uns 20 dias que nao a rego com sal de epsom!vou testar esse suprimento da remo que ja da uma ajudada com outros nutrientes como o cálcio que nao tenho no organicos da bio bizz que estou usando!estou dando 2 colheres de sobrimesa de spirulina (alga em pó)diluida em 1 litro e meio de agua com ppm de 300 no maximo vi um resutado!

Day29: New sets of leaves. I'll repot and switch to proper Veg Lights on the weekend. Day30: I'll repot tomorrow. Day31: Repotting done. She had a crazy amount of roots in the seedling pot. MUCH more than I expected. I switched to Veg lights at 90% power. Day32: Settling in new pot Day33 & 34: I had to perform some maintenance on the tent. Lost some hours due to that. Day35: Growth really looking healthy. Although she's not really stretching high, she does look rather happy. I do like them thicc ;) General: I need to put the camera somewhere else so that the growth can be better seen. Right at the end I'll edit out the white flashes. They're caused by the humidifier running and will be really easy to cut out without losing the gist of the grow :)

Light defoliation and training branches at the bottom with stakes… I mistakenly pushed down too hard and you know the story after that But overall plant still moving forward.. Any advice on spots on leaf.. please reach out and let me know if you have any solutions

Esta semana fue bastante estresante para la planta desde el transplante hasta la poda, ya que se han presentado algunas complicaciones,(se rompio una de las ramas principales al intentar doblarla, que por suerte se pudo solucionar,a todo esto hay que sumarle el transplante a su maceta definitiva de 35 litros. Ahora dejaremos que descanse un par de días mas y en breve estaremos comenzando la etapa de la floracion.

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

SUGARLATO - GREEN HOUSE SEEDS - week 8 Already flushing due to her not taking up the water as fast now. She’s turnt out to be a quick little stunner. Week 8 and already flushing because she’s ready to go. This strain is new but will definitely be done seed to harvest in 8-9 week max. Smell is amazing of earth undertones with a gassy pastry smell. Big sized golf ball sized nuggets that are pritty dense DRSHOTZUK

I top dressed with a hand of worm castings per pot and noticed first pre-flowers on the Epsilon F1. Super green and healthy girls and slowly a delicious fruity smell is sticking on my hands after touching the leaves.

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 12 - Friday 6th Nov: Nutes in today, haven’t really had to do much else, as the girls just seem to be concentrating on fattening up the buds at a nice steady pace. Oh and this week I’ve finally got a hint of a fruity tropical sweet smell from the buds.. It’s truly lush.. My thoughts are now at when to flush the ladies and how many weeks are left? I’d like to time it all perfectly but as this is my first grow now sure exactly how long they have left! Trichomes are still looking clear and pistils are still mostly white but don’t wanna get caught out and miss the best time to harvest and flush.. Keeping a close 👁️.. UPDATE: Day 4 of week 12 - Sunday 8th Nov: Nutes in again and all looking good, except for the girl that got really wilted last week, she’s doing ok but no way near as nicely developed as the other 3 girls. She has one main cola that’s taken off more than all the other colas which I think may be partly due to topping not working as well as is did on the other 3 girls, she still has one really thick stem compared to the other 3. However the wilting did really slow her down on top of that 😞.. Apart from that I’m pretty happy, Christmas 🎄 is coming and it looks like I will have my first ever home grown smoke just in time.. 🙏🏼❤️🌱 UPDATE: Day 7 of week 12 - Wednesday 11th Nov: Nutes in and a small amount of defoliation. Girls weren’t quite ready for a feed yesterday but this morning they were super thirsty and leaves 🍃 were slightly droopy, nothing major but they were all really ready for a drink. Put an extra 18w 2700k LED strip (from an impulse buy at the beginning of my grow journey) in last night to try and boost bud growth. I think my Viparspectra 300w LED alone wasn’t cutting it. I know it’s only a small increase in watts but the extra 2700k flower lighting for the last week weeks of flower can’t be a bad thing right? .. My DLI was 32 before adding the light so I hope this works positively. Looking at the girls at around 10 hrs after adding the additional LED and they look great so let’s see what happens.. ✌️🏼 & ❤️🍃🌱

No issues all week steady away I might have underwatered slightly this week partly because it's been so hot! Only noticed when I hand my hands in the media for a check. Had a nice rinse with some bioenhancer. Measured the plant at its highest point 30cm but its measuring at 60cm wide and its now just a waiting game till we achieve a little height. Still not defoliated anything at all yet but looking at it if I'm to keep an even ish canopy I might want to look at it. Tho it grows very strangely. It's like it will grow a little bit here and then the next day a little bit there so it's forever looking abit lobsided middle is due for its turn tomorrow tho. I've tried to control it by spinning the plant thinking it might be down to the air circulation but it appears it's not that.
