Day 5 - time to train and limit vertical growth

November 16th, 47 days post flip. Plants continue to fatten and have put on some really noticeable weight in the last week. By the looks of things I’m expecting around 10 more days of fattening and than a week or two of ripening before harvest. I will do my final defoliation around mid week this week. Shooting for day 49 or 50. At this point will not be providing anything but water. I still am not seeing any fade so I think she has plenty of what she needs. I did get a chance to add those two smaller fans I wanted to add. This has dropped my temperatures from 82 to 77. This drop should hopefully help preserve terpenes and help prevent mold. The airflow will also help prevent mold. Plant 1(Cherry Chunks): The frost on this one is insane. I also get why they call it cherry chunks, it’s terpenes profile is starting to come through and it is tart in nature; its structure is also very chunk like. Much lighter green compared to the two purple marmalades Plant 2(Purple Marmalade): The resin on this thing has been insane since the very start of flowering. Smells of tropical fruits and guava really looking forward to this one Plant 3(Purple Marmalade): Smells on this one are finally starting to take off, it slept for awhile as far as the smell department went. It is starting to take on a sweet gassy funk kind of smell. Possibly lavender and gas? I’ll have a better idea come next week. The density on these nugs are also insane, look like they are going to explode any second. Purple Marmalade Clones: Growing very well, needs a good defoliation here soon and maybe some craft blend. Any advice on moving these or keep them all in square base?? The two females are random seeds, along with the ones in the ground. Can anyone tell if the ones in the ground are likely to be male or female? The two small ones in the video are fastbuds stardawg auto and grapefruit autos..

I had to remove some yellowing leaves... I am not sure if the plant is just too tightly packed around the edges or if I am not feeding her enough nutrients. I have started giving her BioBizz Grow (1st last night) since I've read it is mostly just molasses and should be supplied not only during "growth" - e.g. the vegetative phase. On the buds - the leave edges have started to turn a nice shade of purple. I usually only water exactly the required amount - so 1l for my 15l pot. At the beginning of this week I decided to do a small flush - as per grow question recommendation. I only used 25l to my not completely full 15l pot (I am guessing 10-12l earth) with rain-water and checked the runoff: PH=6. PPM dropped from 1800 to <400ppm at the end. She has started to smell very tropical the last few days... With humidity levels hitting 80% outside - my little 25W dehumidifier can't keep up... I keep my fans on and hope for the best. Soil is still wet from the flush - might try the Seedhunter's recommendation and not water for 5 days. Looking back - I really should have noticed the whitening tips 2 weeks ago... last week I should have made the connection of "burnt leaf tips = overfeeding" - but nooo. =) I have been making the same mistake as with my last grow - I watered exactly what she was drinking... 1l/24h. So salt could build up and the magic marker is 10 weeks. This is when "watering wrong" shows... Day 87 (Friday): still no signs of drought stress so I will water with low nutrients maybe tomorrow... Day 88: watered for the first time after 5 days with ~3l of rain water - and some nutrients. There is a lot more purple on the upper leaves now.

very nice strain with 2 great ancestors, solid taste and scent, got some great buds with great taste and awesome looking plants with incredible colors

Week 8 is the final flush. They’ll get 1 tsp per gallon of ph’d water for the rest of their lives. They’ll get chopped whenever the trichomes appear mostly cloudy with a little bit of amber.

Strawberry Trop Cherry - STRNG Seeds W9 01/04-10 These strawberry collection gals are growing steady during this early stretch. I gave water only last week to contain the stretch. I also turned the lights down to 80%. Other than Cadillac1 all the plants look the same so I tied ribbons to the pots as identifiers for pictures. Kitties lost interest in my leaves, now is play with the pipe cleaners. I’ll have to tighten them up as I found one on the grow room floor. Strawberry Cadillac -Purple Straw-Trop Cherry-Red Straw-Lectric Lemonade-Yellow. 01/05 Supercrop Last week I indicated I might supercrop Cadillac1 since she is so tall. Well, you will see pics during the process of bending the stem and taping the position. I pinched the stem in my fingertips and rolled it a bit, then bent the stem, (notice the outer casing is not broken) applied tape to the joint to keep the branch from completely bending over. Each side had at least 3 nodes. 1/06 the side nodes on the branches have turned up and made more tops. All gals show the beginning of white hairs identifying they are female. 1/9 Strawberry Cadillac #1 46” #2 37“ Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 24” #2 41” Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 33” #2 35 Important dates 11/9 Germination 11/25 Transplant to 1.5 gal, 12/1 Topped, Pinned and removed 2 large center leaves 12/5 Repositioned pins and removed lowest fan leaves 12/16 Topped 4 tops on each plant except Cadillac1 (first topping) and put manuka honey on the cut. 12/24 Transplant to 5 gal 12/27 Defoliate all 12/28 Flip to 12/12 01/05 Supercrop Cadillac #1 at the joint where I topped her. This was an amazing firat grow and I’m not done yet love mainlining. Depending on how these dry and the yields come out I may just do lst and get about the same amount of yield out of the grow but I still have another week or so till I chop the others

Entre hoy y mañana ya le doy el último riego con agua sola y después corte y a secar, con la calma... Cómo cada cultivo es hermoso ver crecer estás plantas, aunq las variedades son las mismas son muy diferentes q, como los hermanos o los dedos de la mano... Me pone contento y al mismo tiempo triste terminar con ellas, pero para eso están... Espero q les halla gustado el proceso de mi humilde crecimiento, espero sacar buen gramaje y llegar a un buen número, el próximo diario ya será de cosecha... Buenos humos para todos... What I thought to be a cal deficiency at first glance appears to be rust fungus or leaf septoria, but nothing rubs off of the spots, which confuses me. I freaked out and tore the hell out of the plant my buddy left on my doorstep, stripped all the freakin spotted leaves. I'm hesitant to toss it, dont know why, I did notice spots on 2 other plants, barely, bastard being one of them. Ill be keeping a great hawk eye on them, ready to pluck anything I notice with a rust spot or toss that one plant out of there if I see too much appear. I need to grab some neem oil as well. Maybe I shouldn't run the tent sealed anymore, as I think it could be a big reason for the fungus. I never let humidity get over 60 and I had pretty decent air movement, but they are squeezed in there. I'm freaking scared. Nothing rubs off these spots. My run off PH has been low which makes me think calcium still. Guess I'll do some big-time flushing. Flushed all with 6.8 water until run off reached 6.5, roughly 10-12 gallons each. I'll l feed them tomorrow. Usually, I flush around day 45. I was trying to see if i could get away without doing so, with that scrog n all. Whew, I was trippin out there there, after reading n shit I got thinking the worst, should've stuck with my original diagnosis. I'm sure they'll be ok.👍 Zipper broke off the tent the other night, so it's now "sealed" with a red blanket🤣
