Finally back to the garden after 4 weeks away. They were really in need of love by the time I got back to take care of the garden. BIG NEWS! Now running a California Lightworks Solarxtreme 500 as my main light. Will add a second SX500 light into the room once I start flower. Hit the LST on the again and just making sure they are getting fed and lots of love. Will have to push back my starting flower by another few weeks. See how the recover

Hi guys I’ve finally chopped the girls . I was super surprised what the small girl actually produced . After a trim she weighed 206g wet with stalks . Considering she struggled from the start and in normal circumstances would have been binned very happy with her . The big girl . Just wow 🤩 😎 💣. She’s been chopped too and is now drying in a 1m square tent hanging from the net . I never weighed her wet as it would have been impossible without cutting up the nugs off stems etc as was too big . I’ve just input a wet weigh above for sake of the harvest . Once they are both dried I will take their weight have a taste and update that and add some final photos . Massive thanks to Green House Seeds/feeds and the rest of you that have been here on the journey with me . Final update . I’ve updated the diary she’s fruity , sweet and woody in taste . Very uplifting effects . The big girl came in at 185.17g dried and trimmed . Smaller girl weighed 30g dried and trimmed , still happy with that considering . A total of 215.17g of dried smoke ready to go but some impressive nugs . Awesome 😎 👏🏻.

Harvest day ! The plants are chopped and are hanging to dry. I put in a dehumidifier and a humidifier to control the humidity around 60%. The goal is to dry for 10 to 14 days. Then i will trim and cure them in grove bags for 6 weeks. I put the mutant straight in a zip lock in the freezer. I will make fresh frozen bubble hash (full spectrum) out of this one. I will update if the buds are dry en trimmed 🍀✌️

The gap between where you are and where you want to be is measured in decisions, not dreams. Dopamine release is not the pursuit of happiness; it's the happiness of the pursuit. "Mens Dei" Cannabis buds can expand or swell in warmer conditions, but this is not necessarily a desirable effect. High temperatures can cause the buds to become airy and loose, reducing their density and potentially impacting potency and aroma. First 4 weeks flower, blazing hot expansion of buds, 4 weeks after cool off? Why?? What can be made to expand, airy and loose, can also be made to contract, dense and tight. Why? Trichomes do not discriminate, although we like to think of trichomes' primary purpose as being to get us high; they are there to provide photoprotection (sunscreen). Trichomes apply themselves based on area dimensions; the more area = the more trichomes in order to protect. Different from density: Trichomes, the resinous glands on plants, are often produced in response to stress, including high light intensity. This increased production can lead to denser trichome coverage on the plant, stress, stress, stress, stress is the signal. There is a certain beauty in watching the large water-filled buds once swollen to the brim slowly shrink during drying, as the surface areas contract, the trichomes just cluster up to form denser and denser coatings, already dense from high light intensities, UVB exposure, and IPS, and every other stressor I could tweak. Trichomes, the resinous glands on cannabis plants, are often produced in response to various forms of stress. These stresses can be environmental, like excess light(HIL) or UV-B radiation, temperature fluctuations, or drought, or mechanical, such as wind, pruning, or even the weight of the plant's own buds. The plant reacts to these stressors by increasing trichome production as a defensive mechanism to protect itself and its valuable compounds like THC and CBD. In essence, cannabis plants perceive stress as a threat and respond by producing more trichomes as a way to protect themselves and their valuable compounds. Several studies have shown this. Not so much a "master" grower as a master of stress. Psssst. Tip. Trichomes fill with "antioxidants," including THC. Ant"ox"idants, The production of antioxidants in plants is intricately linked to their oxidative apparatus. The plant has limited oxidative capacity/apparatus. During daytime photosynthesis, a large percentage of that oxidative capacity is tied up in protecting the plant. During the night, plants alter their metabolic pathways. This leads to a far more focused production of specific antioxidants, like THC. Plants also produce antioxidants during the day. Excess light, for example, can trigger the production of excess antioxidants as part of their defense mechanisms against reactive oxygen species (ROS). The differential ROS production by blue and IR light can have significant biological consequences. For example, high levels of ROS induced by blue light can lead to cell damage and death, while lower levels of ROS produced by IR light may be involved in beneficial cellular signaling pathways. Long nights under the IR (very low ROS), the boost in cellular respiration, and the boost in energy production. In a perfect world, I'd give the plant a shock treatment of 60DLI in 4 hours and give her the other 20 hours to perform cellular respiration under IR. The stress of those 4 hours would be rigorous and full of stress abound, 1800-2000ppm CO2 is easy for a couple of hours during daylight, it's maintaining it that's hard, but 4 hours is very doable with nothing but a little extra "carbon sugar" in your medium every other night during the first 4 weeks of flower. In my opinion, you only need to jack CO2 for those first 4 weeks of flower to see maximal output, after that it's all about trichome preservation, everything else comes second. Without the temps to assist with metabolism, CO2 is reduced to normal levels along with temps 4-5th week of flower. Buds are primarily composed of water. Developing flower buds, like other plant tissues, require a significant amount of water for growth and turgor pressure, which helps maintain their structure and firmness. Turgor pressure in plant cells is primarily generated by osmosis, but transpiration plays a crucial role in maintaining it. The optimal internal leaf surface temperature for photosynthesis at 1800-2000ppm CO2 is likely in the upper range of 97°F, meaning ambient would need to sit at 102°F-ish or thereabout for full metabolic utilization. That's putting your transpirational pulling force x5 x6 maybe x7 of what it would be if she were cruising at 68F. "My buds won't fatten, what can I do!!" Crank that bitch. If your purpose was to blow up a balloon as fast as you can, as much as you can, would you use 2x force or x5 Force to do so? Bad analogy, but you get the idea. Kiss. Optimize photosynthesis & VPD by day, cellular respiration by night. TECHNICALLY: "While transpiration and cellular respiration are both ongoing plant processes, they are not neatly separated into day and night. Both processes occur both day and night, though at different rates and with different emphasis. Transpiration, the release of water vapor from plant surfaces, is primarily driven by sunlight and photosynthesis during the day, but it also continues at a lower rate at night. Cellular respiration, which provides energy for the plant, occurs continuously, both day and night. " BUT Only 10% ATP can be processed through photosynthesis and carbon capture. 90% of ATP is processed when the plant's oxidative capacity becomes available (NIGHTTIME). Cellular respiration relies on the process of oxidation to generate energy. Specifically, the final stage of cellular respiration, called oxidative phosphorylation, utilizes oxygen as the final electron acceptor to produce a substantial amount of ATP, the cell's primary energy currency. Several environmental factors can hinder cellular respiration in plants. These include low oxygen levels, temperature extremes (both too high and too low), humidity, water stress, and the presence of toxins. These factors can impair the function of enzymes involved in respiration, disrupt the availability of substrates, or directly damage plant tissues, thus reducing the rate of cellular respiration. Factors such as oxygen concentration, glucose availability and temperature will all impact the amount of aerobic respiration an organism will perform. Day 36 - I watered her again with nutrients ph to 5.8, i was advised to water less but everyday. I defoliated her today and she looks great. I took of a few shade leaves off as well to help light get through. Tightened a few branches and moved it in place for light. Im very worried because i think it got hermies on the plant which is a big issue. Day 37 - The main culprit looks fine didn't see any more i did take 2 pods of but I'm sure they weren't sacks but i was paranoid. Day 38 - very F***** up day today, I checked her and found a banana im not happy at all and to be honest i feel like all my plant have been contaminated so I'm just gonna carry on with grow and see how it goes. She watered with nutrients today at PH 5.9. I got new lights today spider farmer sf2000, this looks amazing inside there. Day 39 - The plant is okay temperature is to high in room its at 34°c waiting on inlet fan to come to cool temperature. I'm still curving the plant to get a spiral, i curved the top a little. Day 40 - I tightened the ties down properly. I have also watered the plant with 5.6PH and nutrients. Day 41 - So once again i didn't take a pictures today i will have make sure to not make it into a habit.  I was very busy and didn't have time. I checked the plants as soon as i woke up and they looked well and healthy. Day 42 - The plant looks okay haven't seen any bananas so should be okay. I watered her today with nutrients and the water Ph was at 5.5.

This is the first greenhouse grow I’ve done. I’m using a shelter logic 12’x20’ translucent portable garage, because we store a car in it for the winter. I’m growing 5 Ethos genetics plants, 1 DNA genetics plant, 2 clones from my winter grow, and 3 unknown autoflowers.

Good week this girl is doing well, varied coloration, the buds are compact, the trichomes are creating color, I can go further until the harvest window to avoid loss of yield.

02/04/2022 Day 5 41days old and starting to show their genders, next week will be less plants for sure, identity of a couple males confirmed. Once all girls are confirmed it's straight to flower room.😁 Grape skunk potted up she's tall girl compared to other confirmed grape skunk.

Moin moin an alle, als erstes möchte ich diese Woche djiny danken der hat mich auf die Idee gebracht mal mein Lemon kick von plagron über Nacht zu testen (1 Liter Wasser mit lemon kick von plagron fertig gemacht eingestellt auf Ph 6,0 und einen weiteren Liter mit Ph down von hesi) am nächsten Morgen habe ich den Ph Wert von beiden getestet und dabei is der Ph down von hesi stabil geblieben war nach 1w Std immer noch auf 6 und nach 24 Std ebenfalls auf 6, das lemon kick von plagron is mir nach 12 Std schon wieder auf fast Ph 7,0 geklettert und nach 24 Std war es bei 8,3 wow das ist mal instabil hab ich mir gedacht ich glaub djiny hat mein Problem gelöst also djiny danke dafür. Indoor Sehen die Pflanzen nicht so toll aus immerhin fallen die Blätter nicht mehr einfach so ab nach dem ich jetzt 2x mit hesi ph eingestelltem Wasser gegossen habe aber sie produzieren gut Zucker und riechen so heftig nach süßem Kaffe mit Ur typischer Gras Note. Zu den steckies die ich outdoor zu zweit in einem Topf halte ich persönlich finde das sie nicht schlecht rüber kommen wir haben in den letzten 3 Wochen hier im Norden so beschissenes Wetter mit Sturm und Regen ich glaub es waren 3 oder 4 Tage mal schönes sonniges Wetter ind den letzten 3 Wochen finde aber dafür das es nicht so schön draussen war und ich mich kaum um die Ladys kümmere (wenn das wetter schlecht ist nutze ich mein zweites hobby rocket Leauge auf xbox series zocken, is halt in den letzten 3 Wochen viel gezocke gewesen 😱😱😱😱😱😎😎😎😎ups.... Mann gönnt sich ja sonnst nix) euch noch nen erfolgreichen Grow und das ihr alle schlauer seid als ich und diesen Kinder-Garten Fehler nicht begeht oder ihn schneller findet als ich

Well, so much for taking the hands-off approach. Winter is coming and the heater has been on, which is drying out the air more. Temperature is the same in the grow room, but humidity has plunged to 23%. Gave the plants a thorough watering with nutrients last week. Today and the rest of the week, I'm going to treat them to just plain water until next week. UPDATE: Humidity definitely the culprit. Placed a small humidifier by the plants on Wednesday, and they sprang right back. All is going well now. Seed description says flowering phase of 11 Weeks. Should expect to begin harvesting around Dec. 20th (4 weeks from now).

done some defoliation to expose bud sites getting ready to flip to flower shortly
