Grow Diaries: Week 22 Journal Entry – The Durban Poison Quartet * Date: August 14, 2026 * Location: Eastern High Plains, CO * Stage: Photoperiod Vegetative / Early Transition We are officially hitting week 22 with the Durban Poison quartet sitting in their 25-gallon bags on furniture dollies out on the deck. The growth and vigor across all four plants continue to impress, filling out their canopy space with deep green, healthy foliage. Sunlight Optimization & Layout Adjustments With the sun tracking differently as we push deeper into August, maximizing every hour of direct light is critical. Today, the entire quartet was carefully rearranged on the deck. Shifting the positions of the 25-gallon containers ensures that the peripheral branches and lower growth get their fair share of unfiltered exposure, keeping the canopy uniform and preventing any shaded bottlenecks. Feeding & Nutrition: Sea Kelp Tonic Today marks an important milestone in the weekly feeding schedule: it is sea kelp tonic day. Applying this organic tonic provides a rich array of natural micronutrients, trace minerals, and beneficial growth hormones to support root vigor, enhance stress resistance, and fuel sustained vegetative health as the plants continue their upward push. Phenotype Notes & Observations * DP4 Progression: A special callout for DP4 this week—she is really starting to step up her game, showing fantastic structure and officially beginning to build out her colas. The low-stress training (LST) and welded stakes are doing their job, opening up the inner sites to catch maximum light. * The Quartet: DP1, DP5, and DP6 are keeping pace right alongside her, showing dense foliage and strong branching throughout the 25-gallon setups. Update 8.15.26 Durban Poison Update: Transition to Flower! The Durban Poison crew is officially making the shift! After a solid vegetative phase since sprouting back in mid-March, the girls are starting to show their first exciting signs of flower. * Early Pistils & Cluster Development: Tight cluster formations and fresh white pistils are popping up at the top sites, confirming that the photoperiod crew is transitioning right on schedule. * Nutrition & Care: Following recent top dressings like the seabird guano applied earlier in August, the plants are looking robust, healthy, and ready to pack on weight as bloom sets in. * Training & Setup: Sitting comfortably in their 25-gallon bags on furniture dollies, all four plants have responded exceptionally well to low-stress training (LST). Sour Jealousy Auto FastBuds 2025 Outside Grow Week 7 May 11-17 FLOWER 1 Sour Jealousy has started to flower. She is 18” now after a 6-inch spurt. She really benefitted from last week’s rain. This week’s weather has been cloudy and sunny but the temps ranged from 93 high and low of 53 at night. I watered and fed 2x with Kelp 30 ml/g and TPS1 4ml/g. I included some garden pics and some cool boats. I live in a coastal area with 6 bridges. Since maritime law still governs commerce, the boats have the right of way to vehicles. On this day I got stopped by the bridge opening and was close enough to see the boats. A parade were luxury yachts. Your likes and comments are appreciated. Thanks for stopping by. Well,well,well.....Damn! This is my first grow with FastBuds outdoors.. And I am very impressed..She stretched significantly and is loving the sunny Temps... She has doubled in size In the last week 😳 and she has been only drinking water.. I must say..this strain is super fast..

Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They smell like a fresh picked Apricot and the flowers are dense to the touch. Half of them are done so they'll be coming out this week to be harvested. I'm excited as the terps on this strain checks all the boxes for me. All in all Happy Growing.

Week 26 - bud shots! Growmies, why did I defoliate so late? Look at these nugs. Had I taken more leaves away earlier, they would've gone bigger. But I'm not complaining. This is going to be a HUGE harvest and a new record for me. The buds are frosty and the smell is so yummy. I want to harvest them already but my weather station predicts another week of sunshine so why waste it? I'm really happy with this strain. It's uncomplicated and seems to thrive despite my neglect. Day 64 - Starting week 10 today and flushed her with 2 gallons of water and 40ML of FoxFarm’s Sledgehammer. I’m hoping these last two weeks she’ll really fatten up and start her leaf fade. Went ahead and removed a couple of dead fan leaves from the bottom as well. Day 66 - Nothing much new today, she’s definitely still fattening up. Had to remove a couple more dying leaves but all good other than that. Will give her straight pH’d water next watering and then will do one more flush with the Sledgehammer after that. Day 67 - Nothing much new today, gonna end up needing some water tomorrow. She’s still plumping up nicely and smells amazing. Day 68 - Gave her 2 gallons of plain pH’d water today to try and get all the nutes out so she’ll start eating from her leaves. Looking at the trichs, I’m looking at a chop happening next weekend. Day 69 - She definitely swelled up quite a bit over the last 24 hours. She looks to still be on track for getting chopped this weekend. I’ll give her a bit more water and sledgehammer in a day or two and then let her dry out till chop day. Might try putting her in complete darkness for 24-48, just to see if I notice any difference in her. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and everything is still on track to be chopped no later than this weekend. I don’t really see any clear trichs in there and starting to get some amber. Will probably give her one last flush tomorrow and let her go until the weekend.

📆 Semana 2: Tras asimilar el 12/12, se ajustan EC y pH con lavado del coco, dejando la raíz limpia y activa. Ambas plantas responden bien, con hojas verde lima, buena turgencia y estiramiento uniforme. La estructura se ordena y empiezan a notarse los primeros aromas, señal de entrada real en floración. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

😍 shes actually very close to done, i might even harvest her tmr, if not then probably the next day, saw alot of milky with the odd amber today! She is also stankin nice a lovely. She has a little more flower than i expected to be honest, which still isnt very much but i'm pleased for the first outdoor grow. That is if she smokes as nice as she smells. I see a moderate amount of trichs, not like the tent but still nice and sugary. Next post should be the harvest report! I think i'll toss out a dried guess of 18 grams and its gonna be a little fluffy

feeding the girls warer only this last week of rippening . the tall skinny pheno is getting purple with some light orange to yellow making it look wicked with yellow on purple the the other girl that is fat has flaming red pistels making it look like fire on dark greenish purple undertones and noticed a fresh snow that scared me thinking it was mold till examining closer its the tricombs glazing over really thick in all the cracks making it look white and fuzzy like powderd snow its not fuzzy its extra sticky lol

She’s just absolutely brilliant. She’s grown some really lovely, plump buds and smells incredibly strong. One little oddity: she’s got almost exclusively three-fingered leaves. She’s probably thinking, ‘Why waste energy on leaves? The buds are much more important!’ Just one more week, then it’s harvest time.

Temperatur noch bei 23C und die LF habe ich etwas runtergedreht und auf 45% gestellt. 2.5L Wasser mit Hesi Bio-Bloom bekommen sie alle 3 Tage, mit einem Ph-Wert Zwischen 5.5-6.0. Die Lumatek 200W Pro ist nun 30cm entfernt und auf 100% gedimmt. ------ Tag 80 angekommen. Nachtbilder. Den Mädels gehts super! Blüten werden immer größer. Temperatur noch bei 23C und die LF habe ich etwas runtergedreht und auf 45% gestellt. 2.5L Wasser mit Hesi Bio-Bloom bekommen sie alle 3 Tage, mit einem Ph-Wert Zwischen 5.5-6.0. Some good Defoliation and removal of some minor nodes this week. Watered with 4L, 4ml/L Grow, 1ml/L Roots. Other than that, no further training! she is doing well. Will probably flip during end of this week or early week 6. Still dont know if i wanna go big like with the whiteberry, or have her nice and small like the sweetopia. We will see! Siamo all'8 settimana le piante hanno sviluppato fiori ben formati,ora dobbiamo avere pazienza ed aspettare che diventino ancora più grandi,la maggior parte dei pistilli é ancora bianca e le piante ancora verdi,questo significa in grandi linee che la pianta può ancora produrre,incredibile la pianta in fondo a sinistra ha quasi toccato il soffitto,un autofiorente di eccezionali dimensioni,ancora all'inizio della fioritura
