Flower Week 2 Day 14 to 20 - 4/1 to 4/7 Simply watching the stretch from this point. Defoliation is needed by day 20 (4/07) so I removed all but the top 1 or 2 fan leaf sets as well as a few of the lowest branches. The idea here being that I want to mostly lolipop the colas and allow more airflow/light into the center. Feed this week was an auto pot reservoir feed now at 700ppm total before add-ins. I used 175ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 525ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.8 where Io plan to maintain it until harvest. Video Post defoliation Next week nutes will increase in Bloom mix again but also eliminate Veg mix. Feed will again be 700ppm before add-ins with 5.8ph before feeding.

Hallo und herzlich willkommen in Veg. Woche 3 Endlich kam ordentlich Sonne und sie hat ein tolles Format. Wie es scheint haben wir uns gut um die Wurzeln gekümmert, im Moment konzentriert sie sich sehr schön auf Höhe, Kraft und Vitalität. Der jetzt noch (Stengel) bald Stamm, wird Stabiler und kommt in leichte Struktur. Blattmasse nimmt auch deutlich zu! Sie sieht fabelhaft aus und ich denke, ihr geht es auch super! Auch die ersten Triebe in den nodien wachsen. Insgesamt momentan eine top Geschwindigkeit! Nebst sehr neugierige Kater (2) hat sich zusätzlich herausgestellt, dass ein Hornissennest sich 2 m entfernt im Dachstuhl befindet. Zunehmender wird es sehr ungemütlich und ich denke, ich werde sie runter in den Garten verbringen müssen. Auch da im Außenbereich sind noch mehr Katzen, daher werde ich am kommenden Dienstag irgendeine Art Schutz für die süßen fertigen. Zur Nahrung: Gegossen wird seit 3 Tagen jeden Tag 1 Liter. Aktuell fahren sie ganz gut mit 2 Tage angepasstem PH- Wasser und einen Tag 80% vom Düngerschema an Makro u. Mikronährstoffe. Stickstoff befindet sich noch ausreichend bis ca. Mitte nächster Woche im Medium. Trinken tun sie wirklich gut, Gestern wo es so heiß war, hab ich am Nachmittag noch etwas nachgießen müssen. War aber die selbige Menge wie Morgens ergo 2 mal 500 ml. Ich hatte mich auch dazu entschlossen, einmal Super Microbes am Mittwoch statt erst Sonntag zu geben. Ich werde jetzt sehr genau darauf achten, wie sich die schöne verhält. Aber mir macht es schon den Eindruck, das sie sehr hungrig sein werden! Somit freue ich mich sehr auf die kommende Woche! Hi everyone,This time I can update right on time and this could be the last week update before harvest.I am planning to harvest Soil girl or may be both of them next week.Hope you guys enjoy the journey.Actually Soil girl is more mature than Coco girl.More in amber trichomes.Coco girl, She got mostly cloudy trichomes and only some amber.Still not sure it will be better or not if I chop both of them together.I start giving them water only and will flush Coco girl before harvest. Start of week 7, for the Super Lemon Haze, I'm repeating the week 6 feed cycle as she's going for at least one extra week 9, compared to only 8 weeks for the blueberries, before flushing. Last week was good, but the Super Lemon Haze continues to be a very hungry girl. She is very sticky and has a light lemon smell. The two blueberry plants continue to pack on weight and size, they have a very pungent smell and are starting to get sticky like the SLH.

10-18 Water. Let her dry out a bit. Seems i got heavy handed. Ugg. Lifting pots from here out! Seems she a little mad at me, but still holds course. 10-19 This am, burn and yellowish. From over feed and water. Flushed, uggg 1213 ppm to 550ish Full dry backs. Uggggg. Hated to flush since I just watered. But just got it done, before more burn. Should be ok. 🤞

I put the seeds into Papertowel, after that i put them direcvtly into the Medium. 2 of them died after a few days so i removed them and moved my last 2 Seeds into the new tent that just arrived Allready decided to Flowering i go buy a 120x120 thent with 2 TSL 2000 300w LED for even bigger Space because im still waiting for my other Seeds who i gonna imidiatly Germinate when they get deilverd and move them into the tent with the 2 ladys.

Lefty was dropped during veg that explains why she looks a few days behind the other i damaged a high fan leaf in about week 5 of veg and now I know what effect it has so not to do it again! Started on pk13 two days ago just a video update for now 😋

Final week at week 11 of flower. I think I could have let her go a little Longer but she’s probably around 10-12% amber. Looking and smelling great!! Chopped, hung, dried, trimmed and cured. Bud tastes great and is potent. Not going to be a couchlock for the everyday stoner but definitely a great strong sativa type high. Packed on a lot of weight and was happy with the outcome.

The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. To determine this effect, carbon dioxide volume was measured (as carbon dioxide is an output of aerobic respiration) 18/6 with the 6 being IR. What goes in must come out. When the rate of air going out exceeds the amount of air coming in, it creates a negative pressure. Tent concaves (bends in). If set up correctly, the RH will begin to drop slowly to the desired level I set, and the extraction turns off when it reaches the desired RH. The plant, as it performs cellular respiration, will always release more water into the air; therefore, the RH% of the tent overnight will increase, as long as oxidative phosphorylation is occurring. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over. This creates a strong pressure differential, which will work wonders with mass flow. Replicating high and low-pressure fronts in nature. Critical for oxygen diffusion at the critical time of peak cellular respiratory function.. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow more slowly to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Esa familia, de nuevo volvemos actualizar las skunk, y es que me encanta es una variedad que crece con un gran tallo y corta distancia entre nudos, muy vigorosa, 2/3 crecen bastante guay, pero hay una que aunque también crezca bien se quedo algo más pequeña. Ph en 6,5 temperatura y humedad controlada, con muchas ganas de ver cómo empiezan a formarse las flores y todo su progreso.

Today is the last day before chop day. I didn't end up doing any flushing as I couldn't find much evidence that it makes any real difference. Starting to get some fade/LED bleaching here and there. Really excited to see how much bud is hanging out under all those fan leaves. The one plant that got an accidental topping is still behind the others in getting ripe but not so much that I am wanting to keep it growing. Seeing just a few amber trichomes here and there and I am not a fan of couch-lock so now is perfect time to harvest. I will end up hanging the whole plant to dry. Thanks everyone who gave me help and tips for my first grow! I will likely post the dry weight and harvest pictures in a few weeks once they are dry. Maybe add a few pictures of rosin I plan on making. Happy Jul!
