ZodaZa - Umami Seed Co. Day 74 - watered with 2l of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. She's into her fifth week of bloom now, she has finished her stretch and is now working on developing her bud sites! 💪🏻 No work on her this week, just letting her grow 🙏🏻

After 7-8 weeks of flower she is ready to harvest. I give an update when she is dry and trimmt. I hope you enjoyed my little grow report. stay healthy

Did some slight training on one plant. Defoliated a couple lower points but overall just letting them do their thing. Got everything locked in at this point. I've got to water daily. Half of the girls already have some color in their pistols! Thanks for stopping by.

pics from 20th and 22nd October 26th for lemon It's the second year ever for me, and I talked to some people because I still get 8g per plant, and it's because of the mainlining and toppings I do at wrong times, and also because an outdoor plant doesn't always get the perfect sunlight and energy to repair itself enough. so the stress might be it. next year I'll try bending the main stem and never doing topping

Day 85 - Starting week 13 today and still no issues. Checked some trichs today and still quite a bit clear in there but quite a bit cloudy. Going to start flushing her for her next watering and looking at her, think she’s got about 2ish weeks left. Day 86 - All still on track for a chop in about two weeks. There’s less and less clear trichs but would like to get a good amount of amber before cutting so hopefully she’ll push them out in the next two weeks. Day 87 - Gave her 2 gallons of plain 6.5 pH’d water today to start flushing out the nutes. She’s almost all ccloudy now and hopefully start getting some amber in there in the next two weeks before chopping. Day 88 - All is going good still. Checked the trichs all over and it’s pretty much all milky and seeing a couple ambers in there. So it seems like about a week to two weeks left. Day 89 - No real update, she’s getting a bit more amber in her so almost thinking she’ll be ready to chop this weekend. Just gonna keep an eye on her and when the trichs are right, she’ll get the axe. Day 90 - Lots more amber are showing now so looks like it’ll be day 91 or 92 when I chop her. Will probably chop her on Friday but may end up doing it tomorrow. Not sure yet, depends on how I’m feeling and what she’s looking like tomorrow but definitely excited about getting her chopped, trimmed and start drying her. Day 91 - The end of week 13 and Letting the girl finish drying out today and will be chopping her tomorrow. She has some lower fluff bud but everything else is ready.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Up up and ... one more week here We go ❤️🤘 so they are grooving hehehehe i'm focus on producing good amount of trichomes and tryin to bring some colors to them. i reduse nutrients and stabilized my condictions . i like this AC thing lol I brouth down my temps to77 day time and 65 nigth time, humidety is the one i'm having problens bringing it down but is not too bad any way is going up and down and arround 55% so is ok Peace out and stay happy and safe D

This is an easy plant to grow. She was quick from seed to harvest. The vibe creeps up on you so watch out! She's dried now and set to cure in brown paper bags for a few weeks. This one is a winner.

1.I had 3 pop 18 hours right away from floating in the water. 2. 2 were in a paper towel that did nothing so far after 18 hours. 3. Placed paper towel seeds in water for a few hours to see if we can get them popped. 4. 2 seeds are germed and ready to go, have been planted. One in fox farms happy frog and one in a riot rooter as an experiment. We shall see who comes about first. Doing 12-16 hours of light. 5. After 48 hours, all 5 have popped and 2 of them are already breaking the soil with their first 2 leaves. Let's go! 6. Day 3 - 72 hours later - 2 of the seeds have sprouted their first 2 leaves and are above the soil! *excitement ensues* 7. Day 3 (continued) UH OH! I just realized my paper towel doesn't have a seed in it. I checked on the floor and found it, the taproot has gone back inside the seed, I'm worried I may have killed it. I planted it in the Root Riot anyway and I'm hoping for the best. :/ 8. Day 3 (continued) continuing 18-6 light.

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

Запах стоит очень сильный. Сегодня я включил лампу UVB 25 ватт. Она будет включаться всего на 3 часа в день, в середине дня.

They’re chopped we will be checking in again in 7-10 days and start the the whole weighing process. They have beautiful color they got dark now I see the why the name lol. HEY! the beginning of flowering. all the same decided to do defoliation after looking at the inside of the plant .. there are just a million buds under the leaves)) in short, I decided to give them more light .. not quite a suitable period for this, but I took a chance .. removed a lot of hopeless branches .. I won't bother her anymore! until I stick a knife in her trunk and chop it down and smoke it!))
