The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

What's up fellow growers another week in the books! Well let me start off with this has been a horrible week for this grow! My ladies are sick. So acouple days after their 10/15 feeding I noticed both plants were moist on bottom and moist on top and dry as hell in the middle. I found this out by my pineapple auto leaning over! The roots on one side of this plant are practically gone. With having this knowledge I gave them a couple more days to dry out and then yesterday I did a ten gallon flush and the 11th gal I gave them another feeding. I also added more of the walmart soil that I still had left to try to firm the plant up more. It seems to have helped. But upon adding more of this soil I just added more pest. There's little white bugs crawling all over my pots. The flush seems to have made things worse but I know it takes a few days for signs of corrections to take place. So I'm waiting and hoping I don't lose these plants in that amount of time. They are both yellowing badly. 10/15/21 5.3ml Micro 4.7ml Grow 6.1ml Bloom Ph 6.5 Solution temp 73.1°F 10/22/21 10 gal flush with 11th gal being feed 3ml cal mag 2ml micro 4ml bloom Ph 6.28 631ppm Solution temp 73.3°F At this point I'm not sure if it's pest related or deficiency. So I will just sit and see what happens. The new growth on buds is green but all the old growth is dying off. Well until next week if their is one! Best of luck and Happy growing!😎🌱💚💪💪

Day 26 Aptus is really great I can see how healthy the plant is, nice healthy green in leaves and beautifull flower will com out, i m sure. I m keep training the baby i ve got some days left before flowering start. As I’m using a mars hydro t600 that is not really powerful I’ m just playing a little bit with distance, I moved it to 42 cm because it should’ve devolve between 750 and 850 . Day 27 if she started a little slower now she’s running fast :) with a little more experience I’ve been doing some more defoliation this cycle and I think I did it in the right moment to increase mi final yeld. Lamp closer is working, I moved from 55 to 42 cm and I can see they feel better. I’m feeling great with @aptus product I can see how health my ladies are Soon I’ll add a separate diary just for my strawberry banana Can t wait :)

The fourth week of growth has begun, and our FBA 2506 from 42Fast Buds is thriving. After the transplant into a 10-liter pot, the plant has adapted well and continues to develop strong and healthy. Despite being an autoflower, we're experimenting with a 12/12 light cycle, and so far, the results look promising. The temperature remains stable, reaching up to 30°C during the day, with an average of 27°C–28°C. Humidity is maintained between 60% and 65%, providing optimal conditions for growth. The plant has grown noticeably, now standing between 20 and 25 cm, with well-developed foliage. We've started applying low-stress training (LST) to shape its structure, encouraging better light penetration and maximizing potential yields. Additionally, we continue to feed our beauty with Xpert Nutrients, and the results are already visible—strong, vibrant growth and lush green leaves. Everything is on track, and we’re excited to see how our experiment unfolds in the coming weeks!

Started flush now. I'm adding Nature Delight Active Sugar Boost as it's been recommended to boost terpene production. No idea if it will work this late into flower but trying anyway as apparently it has no need to be flushed and is fully organic.

Hi Gromie's, northern Lights has really taken off this week , I have upped nutrients & also turned light up to 75% (around 360w) which has also helped to increase temps to 22-24°c. Rise in temperature has made a big difference. I have also topped her a 2nd time & will mainline using nebula haze's (grow weed easy.com) method keeping the 1st & 3rd node's giving me 4 cola's per side, 8 total, have started training branches. Until next week 👍 live , love , laugh and get high,🤘🤪🤘

We’ll week ten is here and I’m amazed to say the least. The girls are doing wonderful. Getting sticky and thick. Probably going to start flushing the zkittles and purple lemonade here in the next day or so. Most of the tricomes are milky noticed one or two ambering. The blackberry has another week I believe. They all smell amazing. Can’t wait to smoke them!

11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Screen height currently set to 6". Thanks for stopping by my garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

Hello. This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of flowering. I switched over to flowering 6 days ago so this is the end of week 1. Mixed up some nutrient for the 15 gallon reservoir and am giving a few minutes a day so the 15 gallons last 6 days. And I'll hand water with rainwater when the pots seem dry. The plants have filled up their spaces now and it was time to flower. I'm flowering about a week late from last year, but it was a cold spring, and I got the plants in a little late. So, I'm hoping to harvest around Aug 20th or so. Have Fun. Chuck.

On day 1 the plants are looking good. I confirmed that my one cola was seeded, so I removed all visible seed pods. After this run I will do a deep cleaning to make sure there is no pollen in my grow box. The rest of my plant colas seem fine... I changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. I also dimmed my light to 75% to mimic spring conditions. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir down to 6.1. The plants are looking great besides a few fox tails from too much light. On day 3 the PH in the reservoir is 6.2. On day 4 I diluted my reservoir with plain water to lower the ppm down to 400 ppm, and I adjusted PH to 6.2 . The buds are ripening for sure and smell great! I haven't gotten any autumn colors yet even though I have dimmed my grow light and lowered my night time temps. I hope by 8 weeks the plants will have some more purple tones but if not I'm good with the flower quality thus far :). The breeder says 7-8 weeks so I'm hoping I am close to the finish line. I will continue to monitor the trichomes for ripeness. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH to 6.0. I harvested my seeded cola on Pheno #1 as it had stopped growing/ripening and would be a good tester ;) On day 6 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. On day 7 the PH is 6.0 50 % pistils have turned amber so I believe I have entered my harvest window and expect to flush and harvest soon:) very excited!

First week of life, so far the seeds are looking good. For the 1st week I will be feeding them the Shogun Start which is meant for the seedling stage and the Katana Roots at half dose per Litre of Water. PH 5.7-5.8. No feed schedule, only feed when they require feeding. Growing under the new Mars Hydro FC 4800. Hanging height at 30inches with the light dimmed to 25%.

So this is my first diary here and I'm going to start from week 11 so there's should only be another week or two left. My next one I'll do properly from the start. Also this feeding schedule was the last ammendment I did but was in week 10 and not this week. As I only started on week 11 I thought I'd just add it to show what I've given her. This is just 1 Northern Lights Autoflower from Royal Queen Seeds. I've topped her twice and done some LST and lollipopped just as she was going into flower..which was around week 5. I use 100% organic top soil amendments from Living Soils every 2 weeks. I water about 2 days after the top soil goes completely dry only in the mornings. And she's on a 20/4 light cycle. I vegged her in a standard plastic pot then transplanted at the end of week 5 into a 10l pot with the coco loaded with all of the above (minus the guano which I added at the start of week 3 of flower) with the aim of her hitting those amendments at the right time..so I wouldn't have to amend again for another 2 weeks which seemed to work out. I tested the run off shortly after the first feeding for flowering and it was really high - 3000ppm - alongside the pH which which was really low - 4.89 (as expected as its runoff) however I had oyster shell in that first feeding which should help raise the pH and my local tap water is hard so there's extra Calcium and a bit of Megnesium in there too. I also added a couple of drops of biobizz ph+ to the water. And with the mycorrhizae..which should kick in and colonise the root system in about 3 to 4 weeks..should create a mycillium network to help this living soil regulate everything!! Which it did as I tested the runoff again everytime I fed (every 2 to 3 days) and it slowly went down ending up at 1000ppm and a pH of 5.9 which was spot on. I also had a massive scare as I found small white bugs in the medium when I disturbed the top soil. Thinking they were spider mites thankfully they were Symphalans which after researching eats seedling roots or decaying organic matter..so they're essentially cleaning the medium..and they stay under the soil away from the light. She is pretty small and compact. I'm testing autoflowers as I've never tried them before. I'm slightly annoyed as I knocked my dimmer down to 60% without realising..so out it back to 100% and as a result I'm guessing she may have been stunted along with topping her twice or maybe it's just the strain. But I have seen other a lot bigger. But she is looking really healthy and has done from the start. The colour you see has been there from the start and she hasn't had any deficiencies. Tricones are coming along nicely and some of the sugar leaves look like they're starting to deplete in nutritients as they're going slightly yellow on the edges so not long. I'm guessing 2 more weeks from today but I wouldn't be surprised if she hits 13 weeks which is what I'm hoping for as her last feed was last week which would give her an extra week to 'flush'. Also the Bat Boost from Guanokalong has an NPK ratio of 0-10-0 and not 0-0-2 like it states. Next I'll be doing 2 x photoperiod Chocolopes 🍫 Thanks for stopping by - feel free to comment and follow - and I'll have another update next week!! 🤙
