So things have been going a little slow. I have to pick up an extension cord so I won’t miss a watering that’s why I feel they’re growing slow. They have been moved into a veg tent so the 12/12 is on pause for rn. I appreciate everyone tuning in and checking out my diary. Week sixteenth (eight in bloom) is behind us.✌️🌼 This week the girl pushed the buds even further. 👌 Amber is already showing up on the leaves, while on the buds it’s only appearing here and there. Just a little longer and it’ll be chop chop time! ? The 7-liter watering was adjusted for ripening with a 2 ml/L dose of base nutrients. Thank you for reading I will continue to update once they are drying and ready for cure. I have cut down in jar everything the wait was 91 grams please consider that when they comes to my scale weight i wait until the main stem breaks with a loud crunch and the buds are really dry to the touch reason for it I have a very busy life and at the end of the day this is just a hobby so I cannot be opening those jars many times a day at most one in the morning and one in night so I want to avoid mold on them.so I push in a Boveda pack to keep them nice. After three weeks in jar that smell has incremented a lot be aware if where you are it's not allowed to smoke because once you open that bag or container everybody knows you open one of those buds it is incredibly powerful smoke and it is very very smooth great strain to have. Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.

Exciting week the plants are all out of germination and into their veg growth stage. This means we get to begin the exciting work of building our soil. When the plants veg growth reaches the tips of the pots, this indicates the roots also have and your plant is then ready for more room. We have a fantastic grow shop in town that is great about soil classes and teaching you some great essentials. We plan on utilizing this resource and will keep you updated with the progress of the soil build. Stay tuned for compost tea as well ;) Stopped by the grow shop to get the run down on the soil build. Because building your own soil creates hot soil, it needs to sit for 6-8 weeks. This obviously won't work for our purposes on this grow. After some deliberation we decided to go with a pre built soil that has already sat and composted. We are going to go with Build A Soil because they have done tons of research into their super soils. We want to do a super soil so that we don't have to top dress or add in any nutrients, we want the grow to be as natural as possible. After looking at Build A Soil's options we are leaning toward the L.O.S. OLY Recipe. This recipe uses 33% OLY Mountain fish compost. We want each plant to be able to finish out in the pots that we switch them into from their nursery pots. I recently found a new grow bag that we are going to try out for this next grow. It is a bag so it has a much larger circumference than the grow pots. It also has a lining on the sides of the grow bag so that it doesn't dry out from the sides like normal grow bags. This is our ideal growing situation because we are trying to simulate earth. When a plant is in the ground in the earth it doesn't dry out from the sides, we don't want our plants to either. The bags are very large (15 gal) but we don't want to fill to the top, in case we need to top dress more soil in the future. We use one cubic foot bag of soil per plant per container. This change will happen tomorrow at the turn of the week. Starting week two of Veg growth we will be in the containers that we finish in. This means minimal transplant stress and much less room for human error effecting my medicine.

Day 29: LST is done. 600W LED, 20 hours on 4 hours off the same with ventilation. Insetvrhe lamp approx 36 cm away. Water intake: 75 ml per plant plus triggering, humidity around 60 percent. Fertilization is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with BioBizz family, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Critical Orange Punch started flowering se grows very quick. Rest of them are OK as well they are on the way... Day 30: I did LST again. I didn't have enough elastic band yesterday so I bought today and bent them better. I also set the lamp closer approx 32 cm.Day 31: I did LST yesterday and bent them. They already "lifted up" their heads toward the lamp. As they grow I will keep bending the main stalk and the side ones. I will try to create a spiral form and spread the plants with time. Day 32: Almost all of them started flowering except Sour Stomper. Day 35: Auto Critical Orange is the monster here. She is the most developed and tallestbwoth approx 28cm. (Hard to.measure property because of LST). Pre flowers developing nicely along the plants. I changed the lamp as it needed to my other tent because my other lamp is shit. So I will swap them one week here other week there... End of the week the tallest is Critical Orange Punch with approx 28 cm and the shortest Sour Stomper with 14 cm.

Days 92 - 98 (from sprout) 8/23/24 - 8/29/24 Loompa's Headband x TK fading hard this week - checking trichome color through a 15x loupe, needs more time The Good Shit drinking a gallon of water a day but slowly backed off near end of week - my guess would be a 14-week flowering period for this genotype before harvest quality I'm pretty much watering daily a 1/4 gallon to Blue Nose Pit or less to keep mulch layer from drying out Sweet 16 S1 takes the win for most trichome coverage out of the garden, has the most up-front aroma out of the geno hunt PAR is all over the place on this one and totally messed up, after this week I'll raise the light and focus on the appropriate PAR for canopy of The Good Shit Pest Management slipping too, fungus gnats are repopulating and it seems the ecosystem has encountered a serious imbalance of beneficials and predators that normally kept soil/mulch in-check Plan on short-term remedying this with a top-dress of remaining compost + em bokashi and a moderate drench of EM5 following with repeated treatments of enzymes (tweetmint) Long term solution may need a predator/beneficials kit and/or higher quality vermicompost after knocking them back with enzymes

The week went really well and we are starting strong into week 3. The King's Juice Auto #1 is giving me some worries because she's a little bit small. Also, I saw an aphid on her. Never underestimate green light spectrum guys! Speaking of light... I raised the light intensity up to 30% (80W) and will keep doing it like this until I end up with a DLI of 40-45. With 19 hours of light that would be roughly 60-65% of light output. Interesting. From the side view, I think #2 is my favorite but overall it's still #3. Still unsure what kind of training I should do or if at all. Alright, I trained them and tried some different strategies. I topped #3 because she was by far the tallest one anyway, I "lollipopped" #1, so that she hopefully pushes more power into the upper part and I just tucked the fan leaves of #2 under the branches. At least as far as I could. #2 definitely has some lovely growing! She also has the first white hair coming out. Will try to get a photo of that later, hopefully with my new wifi microscope. Should be delivered tomorrow. Wasn't delivered but how she develops, I don't need the microscope. First set of white hairs is clearly visible! I'm exited to see how they continue to develop.

Branches are starting to need support. No issues yet this week or changes to note. Hoping to get at least 6 ounces dry from this plant, that would be a huge win.
