W9.D1(60) 🌸⏰🌟👀🔧 I think the time has come to transition to flowering. 🌸 As I embrace this new phase, I have never done this by switching the lights ⏰ before, and I know that the standard is to switch to 12/12. However, I'd like to experiment with reducing the lighting by 30 minutes each day this week, aiming to reach 14/10. 🌟 This gradual approach will let us 👀 observe how our champion plant adapts to the changes with precision and care 🔧. 🌿🔪📉✂️🤲 Likewise, I did not immediately remove the huge mass that has grown. 🌿 Instead, I'm choosing to wield Occam's Razor in a gradual manner, wielding the 🔪 blade carefully, to ensure the vitality reduction of the plant is gradual 📉 and gentle, not abrupt and harsh ✂️. This method respects the living essence of the plant and aims for a cautious, nurturing approach 🤲, enhancing our chance to achieve the lush, vibrant bloom we're striving for.

This week has been a super explosive week for growth! The girls flipped to flower and are stretching like crazy. Started showing signs of flower on Thursday this past week so when time for the nutrient and water change, I went ahead and switched over to bloom nutrients and put my trellis net up to prepare for the stretch and boy am I glad I did. Every morning I have been checking and topping off the res with either RO water or mixed nutrients, I have kinda been alternating between just water and nutrients, just watching the plants and letting them tell me. Everything is looking super healthy and going well. I may end up adding another trellis net Friday with the nutrient change if the stretching continues. It seems these girls are legitimately growing about 2-3 inches a day. Its crazy! Environment continues to stay in check, humidty is getting a little high, but should be able to bring it down with the dehumidifier in the lung room. I have been plucking a few leaves here and there, like very minimal, just to get some penetration to the lower sites and see if we can get them to stretch up through the net. Once the stretch finishes, I think anything that didnt make it up will be removed so that we can focus the growth to the top bud sites. Still learning, but that is the plan for now. Other than that, going to continue as planned and excited to watch these girls flower! As always any tips, comments, and recommendations always welcome and appreciated!

As we navigate through the third week of the flowering stage, our garden is on the cusp of transitioning into the pivotal end of week four. This period is characterized by significant developmental changes in the plants, where they start to exhibit the full prowess of their flowering potential. The journey so far has been marked by vigilant care and adaptation to the evolving needs of our plants. Now, as they delve deeper into the flowering phase, it is essential to reassess and recalibrate our approach to nurture them through this critical phase. Our primary focus during this time is to ensure that the plants have all they need to flourish, not just survive, as they approach the zenith of their flowering cycle. The imminent plan includes a thorough top dressing and amending of the soil, a step crucial for bolstering the plants for peak flower production. This intervention is not just a routine addition of nutrients; it is a strategic enhancement of the soil ecosystem, tailored to meet the heightened demands of the plants during the later stages of flowering. As the plants intensify their energy towards flower development, their nutritional needs shift, necessitating a higher availability of phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements that are critical for bud formation and maturation. The top dressing will be a carefully balanced mix, designed to release these nutrients slowly and steadily, thus avoiding any shock to the plants while ensuring a consistent supply of essential resources. This phase is also a time for a meticulous review of environmental factors such as lighting, humidity, and temperature. The conditions that were ideal during the early flowering stage might need adjustments to align with the changing needs of the plants. Ensuring the right photoperiod and light intensity is crucial as it directly influences the plants' growth patterns and flower development. Similarly, maintaining optimal humidity and temperature is vital for preventing stress and disease, which can be detrimental at this stage. The overarching goal is to create an environment that not only supports but enhances the flowering process, paving the way for the plants to reach their fullest potential. In conclusion, as we edge towards the end of week four, our commitment to the plants intensifies. The impending soil amendment and top dressing are more than just routine care; they are a testament to our dedication to see these plants not just grow, but thrive in their flowering glory. With each passing day, we are reminded that the art of plant cultivation is a delicate balance of science and intuition, where every decision we make is a step towards realizing the full potential of these remarkable living beings.

Hey everyone! Week 2 is going well for these ladies :) Day09: The two Auto Somango Glue seem to be happy, healthy and are growing strong. The two Auto Afghan Skunk however, showed a weird claw-like curl on their second set of leaves. They're still growing and I don't see any kind of discoloration on those leaves, though. I've been watering sparingly, 0.5L every 48h approximately, so I'm thinking they may be stressing due to too much light...? I brought the light inensity down to 75% and raised it 10cm yesterday to see what happens. The Auto Afghan Skunk 1 is already showing signs of improvement. Hopefully the other one will too - fingers crossed! I'm just guessing honestly 😏 Any suggestions would be welcome and highly appreciated! ---- Day 14: I've definitely overwatered these girls. I was following my instinct based on my experience using HID lights, which generate a lot more heat and cause for 1. plants drinking more and 2. faster water evaporation. Of course LEDs don't genrate as much heat and I need to adjust my watering habits...! 😏 Should have payed closer attention, but hey, you live you learn right? Luckily growth isn't stunted and the two Somango Glue keep growing strong :) The two Afghan Skunk seem to be suffering a bit more from overwatering, but they're showing signs of recovery so I'm confident they'll bounce back 💪 The girls got a 200ml watering on day 10 and didn't get any water since then. Waiting for the pots to dry out some more before next watering. I turned off the fan inside the tent so the girls can have a little more heat too. Hoping that will help dry out the soil faster This was it for week 2! Take care and have a great week Thanks for looking 👊

Day 29: Pre-flowering did start. Changing now to Hesi Nutrients. Watered them with 1,25 l. Since they are not dried completely out. Wanted to boost them into flower now! Letting them dry out now to the half of total weight. I'm a bit nervous about the nutrients cocktail though. :) Day 32: music for plants: "Jules Reidy - Trances" "Cousin - HomeSoon" "Yara Asmar - synth waltzes and accordion laments"

Good growth, humidity maxed out for a few days and some leaves rotted, other than that a very good plant.

Day 15: Stretching way faster than anticipated.. Gonna have to tweak the hangers soon because I'm almost at their limit to raise the lamps anymore. Should have lollipopped/defoliated more in the last training session, hope I'll have the courage to go a bit further the next one in about 3-5days which is going to be the last before harvesting. Buds are finally starting to form and dang it looks like a decent haul IF all goes well. No closeup shots will be presented before the frost starts to kick in. I'm cutting down the Bio-Grow gradually and raising the Bio-Bloom at the same time. Thinking about dropping the Bio-Grow entirely at around week 4 of flowering and starting to blast the girls with some decent amount of PK instead. Day 16: Watered each plant with 2l of nutrient solution and upped the dosage of Bio-Bloom to 3ml/l because of 2 strains were showing some P deficiency on the lower leaves (PC/SS) Day 18: Did the biggest and most gruesome lollipopping/defoliation session I've ever dared to. Promised myself this would be the last but it does seem like I still have to grow some balls to trim them bitches once more in a week or so IF they respond well to this torture. Slight P deficiency still on the Peyote Criticals and Sunset Sherbets so I'm going to full send it the next time watering and go straight for the 4ml/l on Bio-Bloom. Next week of flowering I'm going to bring the big guns in and start giving them some Atami Bloombastic to make them buds really swell up.. or die trying! Day 20: Watered each plant with 2l of nutrient solution and this time I went for the full 4ml/l of Bio-Bloom. Only one of the Peyote Criticals was still showing an ever so slight lack of phosphorous so we'll see how they like the full dosage. The bigger GSC had two pretty pale green older fan leaves (not yellowing but still..) so she received 3ml/l of Bio-Grow instead of 2ml/l to keep her going for about 2 more weeks before I can tolerate a little lack of N and let the leaves fall out on their own. Usually I stop giving grow nutes at around halfway of blooming. Don't know if it's just psychosomatic but I do feel abundant nitrogen in late bloom will make the buds taste a bit harsher and give a little headache no matter how good you flush if you keep going on the "full schedule" till the end. All the buds have a nice little sugar coating forming up and the smell in the tent is becoming nice and fruity. Not sure yet which one of them will be the cream of the crop but everyone looks very promising. OG Kush went through a thorough macro close up session and no visible male flowers are forming anywhere so I might just be able to keep her in the cabin but I'm still prepared to chop her off IF she goes full on Bangkok ladyboy on me. If all goes well this might very well turn out to be my best harvest with this setup so far so I do hope I won't fuck up anything now.

Filling in nicely has a great smell starting to frost up. My haze beast smells very sweet like fruit loops cereal. Light took a crap almost 10 days ago only 9 months old. Its a medic grow smart 8. After dealing with getting it replaced in the middle of a grow I am done with them. They make a great light, but the service is terrible. You are forced to work with someone in China who will respond to you at 2am. I had to call, text, email, FB msg and msg through IG to get a response and someone to replace my light. It should be here Tuesday. I bought a Mammoth mint today and am going to run that from now on. 11/20 Grape God has a smell of grape and rubber is the best way I can describe it. The haze beast smells Identical to fruit loops almost caught up to the GG in height.

Day 38 since starting germination: Everything is looking healthy and happy. I’ve FIMed the main and continued leaf tucking & LST. Upped the amount of Diamond nectar from 1ml/gal to 2ml/gal. Keeping the lights on 20/4 has kept the average low temp a degree higher at 66. I also changed the positioning of the lights. Now the Mars Hydro tsl2000 is providing ~500-550 ppfd across the canopy. At this point the plants in the RDWC loop have different nutrient needs so when I did my water change I also changed the orientation of my buckets. I removed the bucket with the Northern Lights photo period from the loop so it could be connected to its own reservoir and be fed a veg nutrient solution while the Sour D auto gets its bloom nutrients.

Upped the amount of Diamond nectar from 1ml/gal to 4ml/gal and added Liquid Koolbloom to the feed. Keeping the lights on 20/4 has kept the average low temp a degree higher at 66. I also changed the positioning of the lights. Now the Atreum hydra-3200 is providing ~700 ppfd across the canopy. At this point I’m starting to feed for flower so when I did my water change I also changed the orientation of my RDWC buckets. I removed the bucket with the Northern Lights photo period from the loop so it could be connected to its own reservoir and be fed a veg nutrient solution while the Sour D auto gets its bloom nutrients. I’ve seen some saying a ph of ~6.5 is more ideal for autoflowers so I will be trying that this feed…which works out nice because my solution happened to be right there after mixing the nutrients.
