(The longest is from the end) About the ladies: Girls in coco Royal AK- she's drinking every single drop op solution and has literally exploded! I'm really happy about her training (top/lst/hst). A very strong strain. OG Kush- I don't get this girl, she's definitely not an heavy drinker. Speedy Chile FF- when I re-potted her into 6lt pot, some of my Bros hoped for a Baobab, what do you think?😂 (has some mutations, has a growth of 3 leaves and then 2 branches have joined together and the other has grown normally) Ladies in Soil: UK Cheese auto- I've broke a branch due to heavy crop. Lesson learned. Pink Doc CBD auto- she's growing good, finally! The only thing I'm worried about is that she will not grow so much, because switch is near. Candy Kush Express- A really nice lady, not too tall, good side branches and she take everything with no care less (one of the most "broken" in the tent) Special Kush#1- She likes her new pot, but there's something wrong (see leaves) maybe related to VPD or RU? I've used different techniques on this ladies, but the one I like the most is cropping the branches and the main stems and also broke the branches where meets the stems, to give'em more power, and more "space" for nutrients transports in sight of bloom! That's all mate, we will see soon for the next update! temps got a little crazy a couple days(up to 90) but was able to keep them below 85. Realized this week I've been running an undersized exhaust fan(4" 165CFM) when I should've been running a 6". With my size room, ducting, and a carbon filter I need a minimum 260CFM. The 6" is rated at 400CFM which is more than enough. Can't believe I'm just now realizing this. Should bring temps down significantly

The main purpose of chlorophyll is to capture photons of energy. When growth is no longer a priority for a plant in nature, it will naturally sink its "no longer needed" nitrogen and switch pigments to carotene and anthocyanin, which are better-suited pigments for environmental protection rather than capturing photons (growth). This is because of all nutrients used by a plant, nitrogen in its nitrate form is highly stable and required for the rigours of electron capture, ammoniacal nitrogen readily evaporates into the air during cure/dry. The ripening stage is no longer about growth, but the main priority is protecting trichomes and opening up the oxidative capacity of the plant so it can focus 100% of filling those trichomes. Nitrogen in its elemental nitrate form is no longer required during ripening to the same degree as it was; the vast majority of growth is over. Understanding when to shift a plant's focus from rapid growth to maturation is the key to maximizing the trichome quality and terpene profile of the final product. That is the single most important decision you will make during a grow in terms of dictating smoothness, taste, and smell, I have found from my limited years of dedicated and driven study into the matter. Synthetic nutrients maintain a near full nitrate ratio comparable to ammoniacal nitrogen, whereas organic nutrients maintain a supply of ammoniacal and convert only to nitrate what is needed. This is far more beneficial for organic growers when it comes to smoke smoothness, as the higher levels of ammoniacal nitrogen are far easier to dispose/convert than nitrates come harvest, cure/dry with far more efficient margins held within leaf/bud when it comes to conversion to aminos. A good dry and cure can go a long way to a quality smooth smoke, but without a proper senescence sequence or triggered autophagic sink of nitrogen, then you will be asking far more than can be expected from a dry/cure. It's one thing to sink the last 5-10% and convert the last drips to amino acids during the dry and cure, but leaving the plant fully charged with nitrogen in the form of nitrate is simply not going to taste good, no matter how much smoke you blow up your own ass or how long you have been growing. Means nothing. Smoke quality relies on pre-harvest physiology, not just the dry and cure! The dry and cure cannot fix poor pre-harvest metabolic states. A high-quality, smooth smoke requires correct signalling before harvest. While a proper dry and cure can gently soften the edges and convert the last 5-10% of sugars into amino acids, it fundamentally cannot perform magic on a fully fertilised plant. You cannot oxidise stable nitrates (+5 charge) into a smoother state during drying. Ultimately, accept it's going to be a heavy smoke and be grateful, onwards upwards! The way in which ammoniacal nitrogen reacts to carbon sugars is critical in how it acts during oxidation and is responsible for oxidizing leftover sugars that can make the buds smoke harshly. Limited ammoniacal equals limited oxidation of excess carbons held within tissues. Just so you know, it's not an anecdotal rule that's unresolved and unsubstantiated. It's called the Maillard reaction. Signal triggers and stressors. Normally, you can only use 10-30% ammoniacal nitrogen, but as harvest closes, it is beneficial to increase this ratio 50% of ammoniacal as it assists in steering the plant towards maturation. Rather than running 50% ammoniacal nitrogen continuously until harvest, use it in short, targeted flushes/additions (e.g., 7 days) to slow internode elongation and hasten maturity. Use alongside forced larger "dry backs" (allowing the root zone to dry out significantly between watering events). Raising the Electrical Conductivity EC of the medium to create mild osmotic stress. Widening the day-to-night temperature difference and increasing the vapour pressure deficit VPD. How would you like your cola's sir? Arm length, please, no gaps with trichomes as thick as snow.

Wonder are being made here. These ladies are doing amazing things. Did lots of defoilation of them this week, making some new light depth for the lower branches. 🌿💚 Comment and like my grows, need to get to master stage

Day 78 - Today starts the 4th week of flower. Fed today with 2 tsp Bloom, 1 tsp Mag Pro, 1/2 tsp Foliage Pro. Fed close to 1 1/2 gallons to get sufficient runoff. After this week, I will follow the Dyna-Gro feed chart and drop the Foliage Pro from the feeding, and she will get only the Bloom and Mag Pro (ProTekt was on the feed chart, but I didn't get any when I first started her). She is moving along nicely it seems. Expect the next feed to come in on Monday. I'm testing with upping the power to 100% on the lights, and seeing what it does with the temps. I would feel fine with 84° or lower. Day 79 - Temps haven't changed from the upping of the light power. Should be on full blast until the last week, maybe 10 days, where I am thinking I'm going to slowly lower the power again, to mimic autumn. Probably not necessary, but feels like something I want to try. Day 80 - Temps are fine from the light increase, and there is no droopiness or anything negative from the defoliation. Will probably look to feed tomorrow, and keep moving the days/weeks along. Day 81 - Fed today with 2 tsp Bloom, 1 tsp Mag Pro, 1/2 tsp Foliage Pro. Day 82 - Nothing to note. Day 83 - Medium seems to still have some moisture, so I am going to hold off on feeding tomorrow, and instead will feed on Friday. I assume part of it is that I had to water later than I usually do last time. I normally water when the lights first come on, but I ended up watering in the middle of the 'day' last time. Day 84 - 4 week of flowering are now complete. The medium did end up drying a bit more than I expected, but with no real signs of hunger, I will still wait until tomorrow to feed. I am ordering a new fan for the pole of the tent (hate how this one angles when the pressure starts to pull the tent in. I believe I will still use this fan, just lower (under the canopy), and blowing up through the plant (been suggested a couple times to add a fan underneath).

Aber, sie ist so schön, dafür darf sie noch weiterblühen. Nebeneffekt, die Knospen bekommen noch mehr Trichome, mehr Gewicht, es ist einfach nur entzückend. Es kommen die ersten braunen Trichome. Yes. Ich denke mal letzte Woche. Es ist erst Tag 63 von max 75. Tage nur Wasser 7. 08.04. Trinkt kaum noch. 09.04. Sie ist echt purple. Kein Lichteffekt. Auch die Blätter fangen an ihre Farbe zu wechseln. Purple Stichig. 10.04. 3 Tage ohne Wasser... Sehr feucht noch. Hmm. Habt eine schöne Zeit. 12.04. 5 Tage ohne Wasser. Sie ist noch immer feucht. Vielleicht ist sie in 2 Tagen trocken. Das wären dann 7 Tage ohne Wasser. Eventuell dann hacken? 13.04. 200 fache Vergrößerung. True colors. Purple thc? 14.04. Ich gebe ihr im 7. Tag Wasser. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

Plants ready to ScROG. Switched to 12 hrs light.

Hola. No había actualizado estas plantas, aquí va. Semana 18. Las plantas ya llevan alrededor de 13 días en riego solo con Flawless Finish, las flores pegaron una ultima engordada y ya están madurando, ambas variedades han adoptado tonalidades muy linda.

Arranca hoy 13/03/24 la tercera semana de crecimiento, en terminarla pasamos a floración, eso será el próximo miércoles día 20/03/24 De momento algunas con 17 cm otras con 22 cm y en general todas mostrando su 6º nudo. Se empezaron a germinar el día 09/02/24 llevan ya 33 días. *UPDATE* 19/03/24 Vemos las raíces de una de las Gush Mintz y hago defoliación antes de pasar a floración. He quitado las 4 primeras hojas que desarrolla la planta y entre 4 o 6 hojas grandes de las que tapan los brotes. Vamos a esperar 2 dias y las ponemos en floracion.

Aug.24 and another round of thunderstorms overnight produced more rain and heavy winds but luckily no damage this time around. 👍 Most girls have past the pre-flowering stage and are showing little buds coming in. Still stretching and growing like crazy tho. Gonna have some big momma's to deal with. 😲😥 Last week plants were given a good flush with r/o water @ 6.3 pH to get them ready for the flowering stage.👌 This week started Bloom nutrients by Future Harvest cycle/schedule week #1 August 27 wind storm came through snapping another lower branch from Blue Fire #1. 😢 I hope the stress doesn’t cause her to herm. Aug.29 winds are supposed to reach over 60 km/h today and into Sunday. Let’s hope mother nature isn’t too pissed off 💨 Trainwreck #1 with her 10 big colas👆 are getting very heavy and smells of sweet citrus and pine oh ya💪 Trainwreck #2 is a sativa dominant girl that looks nothing like her sister #1 even tho they came in a 5 pack from Canuk Seeds. Gotta love variety 😋 Aug.30th Super Skunk auto #2 got chopped today after noticing a teeny area of bud rot. 🤔 Main cola is as thick as my fist and weighs just over a pound. 🤘😝🤘

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. The plants are settling into their new shoes. They have just had water and elite 91 roots as there is some Greenhouse Bio Grow in the soil mix. I am going to try and make some KNF nutrients this week to boost the growth phase.
