Skunkiest_bender39 The fimming does what I wished. The single headbud, „twin‘ed“ into 3 headbuds. The fimming also stops the vegetation, but most times luckily only the node of the headbud! Then does the twinheadbuds build a roof-crown with the other nodes.

Skunkiest_bender39 The topping has shown its results as expected. I've topped all but the bottom 2 branches again. The greenhouse of 12m2 is supposed to arrive in the next 10 days. The ladies will then move into the greenhouse at the beginning of July and will be covered with a tarp in the evenings from 5/6 PM to initiate flowering early. Happy growing;)

Skunkiest_bender39 They always develop well. Parasites and insects are extremely present due to the mild temperatures, almost to the point of being annoying. Ants have moved into the pot of Passion#1, which doesn't bother the flower much but does bother me. As soon as I touch the pot, armies of Argentine wandering ants come out and crawl on everything within a 1.5m radius. I think during the flowering phase this will become a much more annoying problem. The harvest will probably be washed or pressed, but let's wait and see if the summer gets tougher like the last few years, then the huge amounts of insects sticking to the buds will finally decrease. ;)

Skunkiest_bender39 Shaman has been showing signs of flowering for about 7 days now, the second topping worked differently than the first time. Still, it worked, and some branches are continuing to develop nodes. All of them are going into the stretch. The ant problem has been resolved. I placed feeding barrels underneath and water both large plants daily with about 10-15 liters of water. Very satisfied so far, haven't had any feminized plants that started flowering in the middle of the year!

Skunkiest_bender39 The heavy rain doesn't seem to bother the ladies, which saves me a lot of work. P#1 is also showing signs of flowering, it will take about another week to see if she really goes into bloom. The Shaman had a pretty long pre-flowering phase of about 12 days, but she is also extremely early. Today the greenhouse arrived. In about a week, all the ladies will move, and by then at the latest, they'll be sent into flowering by darkening the greenhouse. Let it 🐝 let it

Skunkiest_bender39 Still in pre-flowering, organizing the foundation for the greenhouse. I've overdone the training here and there, so some branches have broken, but it hardly bothers me. I've tied branches to the main stem with wire. Most of the cracks have already healed. The 2x fim has produced 4-8 shoots in many places. Giving flowering nutrients for the first time at the beginning of "week 3" of flowering. I will continue training since the ladies seem to enjoy it. The root development is super strong. The European nutrient series from Advanced Nutrients is very practical, at least everything for vegetation. Hope part B and co deliver as well. 🐝

Skunkiest_bender39 The training went well, but at times I wanted to do too much due to time constraints, and some branches got torn or broken… so far it's barely noticeable, and I'm curious to see how it goes from here. They are taking a long time to transition into flowering. Still not much more than little hairs visible. However, there’s a lot of potential in sight. 🐝

Skunkiest_bender39 They are also doing well and have continued to handle the training well, noticeable deficiencies, just missing ActiVera. The weather is very hot and humid, so the humidity is correspondingly high.

Skunkiest_bender39 The new series from advanced nutrients rocks. Very well balanced, usable 2-4 times a week Part 1/2 Terra Series. However, I prefer to fertilize only once a week. Water at least every 3 days then about 10-15 liters per pot.

Skunkiest_bender39 A tuber of the shaman had bud rot and had to be removed. I then defoliated a lot. I organized concrete slabs, can now set up the greenhouse, hope it will be ready by next week. Hope the weather gets better/drier + windier 🐝

Skunkiest_bender39 Used the heater at night now and then to heat up to 20 degrees. Unfortunately, the ladies were illuminated by the parents' TV light during the first nights in the shared apartment (I should have thought of that, just blocked it out), and so a bit of stress occurred in the form of slowed growth, and some buds show a few seeds, but so far I've only found 5 scattered across all 4 plants. I hung linen in the winter garden towards the house. They were exposed for about 3 evenings until around midnight. The switch took about 7 days. The ladies are now all setting their buds! 😇✌️

Skunkiest_bender39 It was an honor! Had fun with the lady from start to finish. Had some problems with rot after contact with rain! Put her in the winter garden, and the rot had to back off. No kidding, it just stopped rotting and produced like crazy! But I think without a greenhouse, she would have ended up in the compost instead;)☮️

Cool, and nice plants. You could also try a 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at the right time puts the plant into dark mode two hours faster. Like having a 26 h day. Easy, and definitely works. Don’t miss a night and adjust the time to match the shortening days. I use civil twilight as listed on timeanddate.com for my location. Cheers.

Wow, how well they grew! Congratulations! What was the yield of Shaman? And what did you think of the effect?
Skunkiest_bender39
Skunkiest_bender39 commented2y ago
@Bibs_Jana, the shaman is a real skunk. oldschool grass with dense foxy buds. Terps are crazy pine/skunky some are more fruity than pine but always sweetskunky. All of them are going heady. The trained one has bigger denser buds, she got a short time body buzz. I like it very well taste is not on point jet, still time 2 cure. But some are really. Tasty. The yield is about 4-5 4,8L yars. And had to cut her early so there was more potential, the satvias are not that fast and this near was crazy 😜. Hope u will enjoy it sometimes. The less thc level is a great option against depressions. I’m able now 2 smoke sativas along winter times.;)
