Today is day 47, and I am more than happy with the progress the girls have made! After another week of minimal input due to being out of town, they were a little stressed but I got a good trim/lst session in yesterday which seems to have helped. Hopefully I will be able to give them the love they deserve from now on, but they seem to be doing well despite the lack of attention.

Hello Diary, It's the end of the first week of vegetation on my little farm. I'm a little late in updating the diary, but I'll try to change that in the future. After the plants got 4 leaves, including Purple Lemonade, the vegetation phase officially begins. For Purple Lemonade, it's 9 days since I planted the seed in the ground, or 5 days since the plant sprouted. As you can see from the photos, Purple Lemonade has been making great progress since day one. You can see a drastic difference every day, I put photos on the 1st day of vegetation and the 7th day of vegetation and the difference is obvious in those seven days. Purple Lemonade - Day 1. - 3 cm Purple Lemonade - Day 7. - 6 cm Conditions on the farm are not ideal. The summer heat is still unbearable, affecting the temperature in the apartment. When I add Migro Aray 4 to that, the temperature sometimes reaches 32 degrees. I don't see for now that it has a bad effect on the plants, but I would like it if the temperature were lower. The lights are now set at 35 cm from the plants and are dimmed at 40% of their power. Watering is every three days. I prepare about 4 liters of water, add 1 ml/L Calcium and Magnesium supplement and this week I started adding Bio Grow Fertilizer, a new product from RQS. After all, I lower the pH to 6.0. and with that amount I water all three plants on the farm. Here's a quick recap of the week. 25/07/2024 - Day 1. The official start of the vegetation. I prepared 4 liters of water again, added Calcium and magnesium supplement, Bio Grow Fertilizer and finally lowered the pH. with Lemon Kick. 31/07/2024 - Day 7. End of the first week of vegetation. Auto Opium grew okay. She took a long time to flower, but has come to a finish. She did get a little too close to the grow light. She has a fruity hash smell and looks like it will be a good smoke. Final weeks of flowering, she didn't turn purple unfortunately. Nevertheless buds are big and smelly. Leaves are starting to turn yellow, I have been removing old leaves every day. Harvest will come soon. No fertilization this week, only water.

So, I'm in need of some Indica in my stash 😂 A seed was planted straight into a 20 litre airpot with compost and watered, and waited. Took her a couple of days to break ground but she's made it. She will be growing during my upcoming photoperiod grow, she may well be on 12/12 light at the end. Started low stress training this week. Kind of in the style of mainlining, but I didn’t really start early enough for that. Tied all branches down to try and give all inside flowers some equal light. White widow leaves turned yellow and she just stopped growing. Need to figure out what I keep doing to kill my seedlings. Root system looked pretty healthy, not sure what was the culprit. Also used farmer freeman to determine sex since I used regular seeds. One male one female. And then there was one.

Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. The plants have continued to grow very fast this week, easily doubling in size again. I moved them closer to the light to 80 cm from 90cm. Watering as needed and I am keeping the soil surface moist with light watering twice a day. I fed some Biobizz Biogrow and some organic teas this week. Low stress training was very effective and the plant responded well except one which stated quite short. I will see if it bounces back or it may be stunted.

D29. We're at the start of the first week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Today, I made some minor adjustments to the LST wires and tucked a few leaves to bring more light to the bud sites. ------------------------------ D31. She loves life and is starting to spread out over the Gorilla pot. I noticed a few yellow leaf tips on a single bud. No idea what is going on, but I'll keep an eye on her. Otherwise, she looks healthy, and I already see purple in her young flowers. I did some minor defoliation low down, but other than that, she is low maintenance now. All I do is tighten an LST wire now and then to maintain a flat canopy. ------------------------------ D32. I brewed up a quick compost tea using oat flour as the food source. Some people claim that that will result in a fungally dominant tea, so I thought I'd try it out. I also added humic acid and a teaspoon of myco because why not? Honestly, I'm not sure it is even possible to create a fungally dominant AACT, as the constant water movement will most likely tear the fungal hyphae apart as they form. In any case, a different food source should promote other bacteria than the molasses I usually use. Diversity is the name of the game in living soil. Well, in life in general. I gave her around 1 liter (5% of container volume) of tea @ pH 6.1. ------------------------------ D35. We're on the last day in the first week of flower. All is well in the tent, and there isn't much to report. One thing I did was buy a mushroom grow kit to keep in the tent. I figured I'd test it out and see how it works. The mushrooms produce CO2 that the plants love, and hopefully, I'll get some tasty Oyster mushrooms to eat — two birds with one stone and all that. ------------------------------

Les plantes restent assez courtes "ramassées" car les lampes ne sont pas très hautes à 52 cm des apexs.
