experiment explanation see week1 So this week again my plagron/aptus plant rocks the tent Both toropinanas in different living soils dont have enough power grow and especially the stretch (phosporus)...they just dont have enough food in soil and compost tea (once a week) only water and compost tea as well as the special ingredients in soil...are just not enough for great results...maybe with special top dresses like build a soil is selling expensively...i thing living soil is money making machine...some tell just the living soil and water...thats definitely a fairy tale... the smell is a bit better...but I dont expect really better smoke...as this is my experience from my last experiment lets go forward to the next week

Heyo growmies, hope y'all had a good week. Lots of things happened this week, I had to move the entire grow operation in preparation for the summer, so excuse the lack of pictures and time lapse, I did manage to record the plant recovering from another round of defoliation! After adding organics at the end of this week it became clear I needed Beneficial's, my roots were slimy, I promptly cleaned the plant, put her in fresh clean water and have introduced hydroguard to my system at double dose, I suspect most of them will die to the h2o2 so ill add some more later next week. I'm considering flipping to flower somewhere during week 7 or at the end, I feel like I've spread her out enough to fill out the tent, according to the breeder she stretches 1.5 to 2 times, we'll see. Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. I felt things were going well, and didn't want to jinx it.... however my time has come for the next level of challenges. This week things were looking great, but then I saw some leaves having discolored spots. I looked under the microscope and saw it was the leaf, didn't think much more of it. Next day, more spots, so I investigated. looking again with the microscope, I found the devil! Spider mites! So, I sprayed greencleaner on them at light shutoff... and the following day plant does not look too good. Looks dry and light burned. So I moved the lights up, they were not a problem before and the plant had stopped stretching this week. hopefully I this will go away, but I need to spray tomorrow to keep with the schedule, hope it does not dry out y plants as much this time! However looking at the bugs again, they are dead! I also lollypopped the girls, however since I am a noob, I could have trimmed more, but it makes me nervous of taking off too much, so maybe a few days I will take some more off, or just watch the dead leaves closer, and will clear daily...

It's drinking a lot of water, obviously because of its huge size, smaller doses of nutrients to go little by little, the shape of the tall buds, they're much more resinous with this update, I'm hoping for more time with this one due to its size and little light.

Growth is just going amazing. Both phenos are doing just astounding. I'm overall delighted with these genetics. Days 35-37 Growth is going amazing as you can see. When preflower stops. I'll move it under a 300w light from mars-hydro. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I have moved over to giving bloom now. She is showing light mag issue so I added Xpert Nutrients Calmag and have been feeding the 20L pot without it fully drying up. I love soil growing. Day 38-39 She's pushing on at an alarming rate. I did not plan for it to be these big. They're going to get 50-100% bigger. So, it's not necessarily their size now. But in 3 weeks. I need to start using IR in my flower tent to push my fems into high gear. Adding 2hrs of extra light should easily cut days to a week depending where they are. Got to also becareful as if I add IR to anything in preflower it'll stretch like crazy. So, im at least 5 days or so before my flower tent will have no preflowering plants just all girls into heavy flower. This plant will STAY away from any IR 730nm for at least another 2-3 weeks. So, she'll do all her preflower under the p1000, which will be an issue in itself. Day 40-42 Took her down to separate her as they're far to close, to big and too many shoots not to do anything will only set the mid-lower parts back weeks during the flower process. I did do some very very light lollipopping at the very ends. The shoots were the smallest. And removed their fans obviously. That's the only defol I've done more or less over this ENTIRE grow. Which is very rare for me not to remove some leaves. With autos, you really shouldn't. Some can take it & still do well. But left alone. And good lighting/airflow throughout the plants. Has really made a huge difference. I separated them as best I could with as minimal stress as possible. It'll take a few hours to look all pretty again when she settles. She'll look really good. No HST/Defols done in any major way. Left it all. And just let them do their thing. Working with it, the smell is LOVELY like a black berry smell. Is absolutely lovely scent she's giving off. But, she is a good candidate for stealth growing. Only when she's worked on does she pong. And you have to be close to smell it. Day 42 and she's doing AMAZING. Really happy to see both phenos looking beautiful & separated really well. Hoping she'll push through pre flower in the next 10-12 days. The plant in the front is showing some sort of stress symptoms. All corners of all leaves are bend upwards. Generally also very interesting to see how different the phenotypes are of the two seeds. I have been feeding as recommended but havent been able to check the EC of the runoff as my meter hasnt arrived yet. So might be to do with the nutrients, maybe light or heat stress. As it is summer right now the temperatures have been quite challenging high

I find that it had an excellent result. the chosen strain left me very satisfied with the results and production in a space of 1x1x2 with 300 watts of light I found that it was very good. Very happy with the relaxing and medicinal effect of the strain, it was what I was looking for and I found it.

This one was great to grow. Great structure, great smel and taste, full of resin and beautiful colors. You could really feel the gelato in this runtz, with just enough of GMO to make you wonder what's the other taste you're getting. Full hybrid, could really take the high each way I wanted! Loved it, hope to do this one again in the future (:

12/30/2021 5 Biscotti Skunk, 5 Lemon OG, 4 Grape Skunk. Starting veg at 18 hours for 4 or 5 weeks of veg and into flowering. Will reppot this week into 6" pots then into 3 gallon pots. One maybe going to 20 gallon fabric pot, if I got an extra one but I'll see 🙏🏻 Potted up to 6" pots 1,Biscotti Skunk 1,Grape Skunk 1,Biscotti Skunk Hoping to start a staggerd grow where I can trim only 3 plants a week. Into pots I added 1 tsp per 6" pot of Coast of Maine stonington plant food 5-2-4 added to happy frogs .30-.30-.05 NPK they should fill out quickly in time for reppot in 2-3 weeks.

Blueberry is showing her tiny preflowers and they are looking nice and pointed and very female - still waiting on a pistil to make 100% confirmation.
