This is the first week with only 12 hours of light and the plants grow pretty well 😎 I removed some leaves here and there to give some light to the new branches but no major defoliation. The broken branch of the Cashew Kush from last week (see D42 - Cashew Kush) has survived and went back towards the light, it's a strong plant! 💪 The light is now set to 100% and is really hotter than at 75%. I cannot leave my hand on the top of it for too long or it burns a bit. Despite of that, I have no temperature issues in the room. I let the soil start to dry after a week of just water, hung them upside down for 14 days 18-26°c 60%RH. The tremors got higher than I would like during drying but it is summer!

The Gorilla Cookies is turning into an impressive young lady. Even though she has an 11L pot, the growth rate is amazing. The bloom is setting in slowly, there are some white pistils visible but no buds just yet. At the second half of week 5 I'm seeing the first few buds appearing. The plant is really impressive to watch. I'm easing up on the bloom nutrients as the top leafs have yellow tips which could be nutrient burn. Just water and Bio Tabs for the next couple of days and I hope she'll be fine 😇

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Week 12/2 - 18/2

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this CBD Fast Eddy plant from Royal queen seeds will turn out. One of the germinated seeds split in half, so I had to take a new seed and germinate it. It took 2 days. It was just a smal taproots after germination with this strain as opposed to my Fastbuds cbd. The plant is growing very good i dont see any problems. I started with the LST training and cut 1 branch of wich wouldnt get much light.

Moving along nicely, I love seeing leaves praying to the light. It’s amazing. One of the best things a grower gets to see.

Two girls one cup week 2.. thanks for stopping by and checking out my experiment :) no need to rotate them.. they're doing it all on their own 🤣. hit the girls a little hard with the light last week when i turned it up to warm things up in there. kinda blasted em with 22 DLI and the light may have caused the curling on the Godzilla Cookies. all is well, and theyre moving right along. light currently 18in up, and hitting them with 14 DLI. running the 1/2 strength GHE light feed week 2 since last sundays RES change. will prob keep this RES until this sunday. just top off and PH adjust 8am/8pm daily. kinda excited to see the explosion of growth throughout this week. 3rd true set popping out of both GC and WG, and started LST them their separate ways as early as possible. contemplating topping after 5th or 6th node. havent made up my mind as to when yet. we shall see. roots poking their way through the drainage holes in the bottom of the upper growing chamber. Will have to add a stone to the RES here in a few days time. GHE light feed 1/2 strength week 2 (measurements are per 2gal on 500 scale): Total nitrogen - 47.5 ppm PPM range - 200-275 ppm Spring Water/Tap mix - 220 ppm (calmag and hydroguard already added) Micro 3.6mL - 144 ppm Grow 3.4mL - 77 ppm Bloom 2.6mL - 41 ppm Total = 482 ppm GHE is pretty damn accurate on that ppm range huh? *so far they seem to be loving life.. sooner or later this light won't be able to keep up with their needs. Probably sooner with the rate they're going. *figured I keep them on the 1/2 strength week 2 GHE Flora feed for now. They've been moving right along, and I don't want to over feed em. Next RES change will get bumped up for sure. Made a nozzle for the reptile fogger since the one it had was made for a 1" hose. MUCH better distribution of moisture now. *Wedding Glue def showing signs of being under fed. Taking up more water than it needs to get those nutes. Causing droopy leaves. Hopefully she can wait until the start of week 3 for a bump up. *Nute levels dropping every 12h as expected. Going to crunch numbers tonight to see how much on a 12hr basis to see if we're ready to get bumped up. If so RES changes will be weekly still, just on the week mark instead of Sunday. *WG said fuck 5 leaves and went straight for 7! Crossing my fingers she gets 13 of em so I can break a personal record of 11. That is unless the ruderalis takes over and puts a stop to them multiplying every node. *****anyone got some pointers on how to go about getting a sponsorship? Could use a little 300w artificial sun to brighten up a cloudy day. And to finish these girls right.

2/6: Amnesia 3 is just about 6 inches tall now. Trainwreck is only a couple inches behind. Still keeping the temps between 73-82 and the humidity in the mid to low 70s. After thoroughly watering the very healthy, young tomato plant that coesxists in the tent, the tips of some of the leaves turned yellow. That makes me wonder if soaking the soil for the first time since transplant caused a bit of nutrient burn. I'm going to avoid any nutrients the first time I water Amnesia 3 and Trainwreck fully, to avoid the same potential issue. They're not looking too thirsty yet though. 2/8: Amnesia 3 is tall enough and has a thick enough main stem to start slowly low stress training with a rubber coated gardening wire. I pre-drilled holes in my buckets for this occasion, and the wire fits well. Each day for the next week I'll gently pull the wire to slowly bend the main stem downwards, similar to how braces work on teeth: a long, slow procedure. 2/9: Woke up to Trainwreck's leaf tips pointing downwards, so I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it its first watering. I siphoned up a bit of the runoff water, and it came back at a PH of 4! That's not good; however, after researching a bit, it's likely that I could have siphoned up a pocket of low PH nutrient-filled water, making my reading way off in terms of the PH of the whole slurry of runoff. If the leaves don't bounce back, I'm going to take that as a potential sign of Nitrogen toxicity and will monitor more closely. Will probably make plans for a flush if it progresses any worse than downward leaves. Nitrogen toxicity can cause fragile, dark green leaves that point down in a shape similar to a claw, among other symptoms. 2/12: Watered Amnesia 3 for the first time since transplant. Getting taller and less bushy in some spots, so I may turn up the lights from 60 to 75% tomorrow, to see if I can increase some more growth. But before, I want to make sure this watering doesn't cause any nute burn from the soil.

The solo cup Afghani x Mac1 from DNA Junkies is coming to an end. These sticky buds are starting to fade and turning a blueish purple. The smell is strong. Very fruit forward with petrol. Still feeding off the last top dressing.

Over all was an amazing grow, super sticky dense nugs with smell of berries, highly recommended for everyone!!

September 23 2019 6AM- Here we are! Week 10! Feels like just yesterday they were seedlings! Great bud growth, frostier than frosty the snowmans ass! 🤣. Going to get a microscope to look in there and see if they are milky yet or not! More and more hairs are going orange, i have been lollipoping these bad girls like crazy. September 23 2019 10AM- Got a microscope! So damn cool!😱 September 24 2019 6PM- The Smell is so sweet it is amazing, almost like candy! i took some popcorn buds and they are currently drying! that is where i got those sugar leaves from, i continue to defoliate the bigger leaves covering the buds from all that beautiful light.😘 September 25 2019 7AM - Today i started the flawless finish by advanced nutrients!!😎 September 25 2019 6PM -The buds have honestly thickened up over night it seems to happen as i blink lol i love growing, amazing strain! definitely recommend this strain for beginners as you can see i made many mistakes! September 26 2019 6PM - i took the videos and photos when i took the ladies outside for the first clean water flush through the whole thing. i will continue flawless finish both are looking amazing. the smell is so good, Those popcorn buds i took off are so amazing i can not wait to have the full finished product!😍
